Dr. Brian Pickett and the staff at Partners in primary care in Cranston Rhode Island are absolutely amazing. I have been seeing Dr. Pickett for the last 15+ years and have only received top-notch care from him and his team. I have to give a big shout out to Tanya who is Dr. Pickett’s right hand woman. She has always been very understanding when you call in plus she tries her best to fit you when there is an emergency!I almost feel bad leaving this outstanding review because more people are going to want to seek him out as a doctor which makes it harder for me to get into see him but I guess it’s worth it

Dr. Pickett is the best physician I have ever had. He treats my entire family, and we are all healthier for it. He gives you the information and tools to help you live a healthy, happy life. After going through a few serious mental health scares, Dr. Pickett helped me understand why I was struggling, and worked with me for months to figure out the right plan for me to live a normal life with my mental illness. Thank you, Dr. Pickett!

Dr. Brian Pickett has a huge ego and will judge and reprimand instead of being helpful and taking what you say seriously. I had him as a doctor for about 7 years and just recently I got a new doctor. After my first visit I was diagnosed with a life changing chronic illness. Now I know what’s wrong with me and I am medicated. If I staying with Dr. Pickett, I’d still be suffering.

Dr. Pickett is a fantastic doctor. He is very professional, knowledgeable, personable, and makes you feel very much at ease. He is dedicated to the point that he will actually call you personally with results of a cat scan, and will either give blood test results over the phone or send a hand-written personal note with recommendations regarding results. An outstanding doctor in every way. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Pickett is the best GP anywhere. He listens carefully, refers to great specialists and advises patients appropriately. Plus, hes younger than me, which is a good thing!

Dr. Brian Pickett has treated my family for years but I will be getting a new doctor after my recent experience. I was treated with antibiotics that was prescribed by Dr. Pickett. I then had another issue that resulted from the antibiotics. I called the emergency number because it was the weekend and I was treated respectfully until I got a call back from the actual doctor. Not only did he answer the phone in the rudest manner possible, he proceeded to argue with me, telling me I was contacting the wrong type of doctor when it was his medication that gave me the issues. I wonder what primary care doctors are for then? I tried to explain my situation but he continued to cut me off and raised his voice to me. Dr. Brian Pickett is rude and an ageist. I left the conversation crying and I received no medical help.

My favorite doctor ever...seriously. Dr Pickett is the ultimate professional and makes you feel like you are his only patient. He even hand writes your blood test results. I am moving to Boston, but I will come back just for my annual with Dr. Pickett!

If your looking for a primary care physician in Cranston look elsewhere. I saw Dr picket for years. During the years that I saw him I always felt as though he was perhaps over extending himself. Conversations felt rushed and he was never able to return a phone call untill 6 or seven in the evening. I overlooked this because he has a pleasant disposition and his closer to my own age than many of my previous Drs.Recently I attempted to have a prescription filled. It was basic medication, not something anyone abuses or anything of the sort. I originally called on a Monday and was told it would be taken care of that day. That day when I stopped by my local pharmacy they said it had not been called it. This process repeated itself for four days. Finally on Thursday I asked the young lady in Dr pickets office why I was not able to get a simple prescription filled after four days of phone calls. I calmly expressed my concerns and frustrations and she began talking over me. I calmly told her she was talking over me and I didnt appreciate it. Her response was its on his desk and thats the best I can do. I asked her to have the Dr call me when he was able.I work evenings so this would not have been the first time I played phone tag with Dr picket. He called me that evening while I was working and I was unable to answer the phone. The next day I was able to pick up his phone call and the conversation the followed was so unacceptable that I politely let him know that I would be seeking the services of a new primary car physician. From the moment I answered the phone he was combative. I understand his employee likely took him for a ride about the actual tone of my previous conversation with her but I also have a number of employees and when my costumers expresses a concern of the quality of the service i provide I listen to them. Dr picket did not listen to me. He told me that a was verbally abusive and that I should reflect on my behavior. Like his assistant he spoke over me and told me repeatedly how he was trying to help me. When he took a pause from berating me I politely told him that I no longer required his services and hing up the phone.Short of the long: If your looking for a office that will treat you with hospitality and compassion you may want to look elsewhere.

I had to drop him after seeing him for five years because now he is ready to retire and couldn’t care less about his patients.
