Covington Family Dentistry is AMAZING! I had an awful experience with another dentist office. From the first phone call with Covington Family Dentistry, I felt as if I was in good hands. They corrected previous dentists diagnosing and billing mistakes. The office staff makes you feel cared about as a patient. Huge shout out to Julia. She was my hygienist. My experience was beyond amazing from start to finish! The front desk receptionist was very polite and efficient I wish I asked his name. Pamela was absolutely perfect! I really appreciate her kindness and transparency throughout my entire appointment. I was very nervous and she took the time to make sure I was calm and informed but it wasn’t forced she was genuinely and naturally kind. Even the financial assistant was very nice, patient and helpful. I’m disappointed in myself for not having the front desk and finance assistant name but I am beyond appreciate from everything! I will most definitely be returning!

Monica was amazing!!! She was very informative and educated me on every aspect of my treatment. State of the art instruments and technology. The office is beautiful and you can tell they take Covid precautions serious. Temp was taken at the door, next disinfectant station and everything was spotless. As a woman I appreciate a clean bathroom and it was clean and smelt like disinfect. My new dentist!

As a first time patient, I completely loved my experience. Julia did my cleaning and x-rays and she was so sweet and I felt like she definitely took her time in cleaning my teeth. Alex was also a joy, he assisted in my first time teeth fill-ins and kept me calm. I forgot the name of who performed my fills but she was great also! 10/10 recommend.

Wilson, DDS is an amazing dentist, very knowledgeable, pleasant, calm and took very good care of me, the two amazing hygienist: Pamela and Monica likewise were amazing all round! There was no wait time, the front desk employees were all amazing; Caleb was very welcoming and explained everything to me once I was ushered in. The rooms are very clean and and we’ll ventilated. I. was looking for a new dentist and I found the perfect fit. I have absolutely nothing negative to say. The facility is very clean and welcoming. The staff was very professional from the front desk to the dentist. My hygenists name was Pamella. She was such a sweetheart. She takes her time to explain everything prior to beginning any procedure. She answered all questions and has a wonderful attitude. She made me feel very comfortable. My husband just so happened to see her the day before my appointment and spoke highly of her. The attending dentist was very professional. He went over the upcoming plan of care and explained treatment thoroughly. He eagerly answered any questions and treatment was tailored to fit my needs. If you need a dentist please check them out.

Good service. I feel safe here even during the pandemic. There are many safeguards in place. My teeth are in great shape due to Dr. Wilson’s care. All the hygienist are nice and professional. I’ve been a satisfied patient for 10 years.

If you are going to get dentures, all Ill say is beware! It took 8 revisits to get adjustments, and this was after they remade the bottoms due to a defect. One character there- Alex or Alec? youll know him by his ultra greasy, dripping complexion and facial pores, is the absolute worst technician in history. My advice is, if youre unlucky enough to draw him, ask for someone- ANYONE- different. The others there are good, capable techs.

I went into this office for a cleaning and was offered additional services that I advised I did not want 30 minutes into the visit. 2 hours later and after several papers with different insurance cost quotes, I left this office with NO service at all. I have been coming to this office since I had teeth (with a prior dentist) and these last three to four years (with the new dentist(s) ) it has been very different. Seems like it is all about how they can make more money. I have never been told that I needed any of the services that I was told this visit. I think they were taking advantage of the fact that I made a conscience choice not go to the dentist during a pandemic and they tried to upsell me because of that. Once I denied the upsell they refused to provide me with a regular cleaning. I will find another dentist that will provide me with my semi-annual cleanings and any other procedures that I have to have but it will not be Covington Family Dentistry. I cannot go to a dentist office that I cannot trust.

I was glad to return to Covington Family Dentistry. I moved and had not been there for a while. It has a pleasant waiting area, they are very clean, have sanitizer everywhere and disinfect the exam rooms between patients. All the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They explain your dental health plan and options to pay thoroughly. Great place to go to take care of your smile.

I go in for cleaning twice a year. On my last visit I was told of the Cancer screening with a UV light that would cost $37 out of pocket. I declined the offer and was told by the doctor at the end of my exam that it was mandatory and that the next time I came for my appointment I would have to have it. I have an issue because if it was mandatory my insurance would/should pay for it, I have had no issues with my mouth to suspect Cancer and after waiting a couple months after the appointment I call the office and asked if it was mandatory I was told NO but it is highly recommended. Which is it mandatory or recommended? This practice has lost my trust and my business.

I called several times today just see if I could come in today. My mouth was hurting I was just looking for a dentist that could help. I thought maybe they could help but every time I called they hung up in my face and put me on hold several times. The people in the office very very very rude. I wonder how they would feel if it was there child or themselves calling with pain in there mouth and somebody didn’t think to atleast tend to there needs!!! I wouldn’t recommend this dentist to nobody!!!!!

COVINGTON FAMILY DENTISTRYS BUSINESS PRACTICES ARE LESS THAN PROFESSIONAL. THEY SELL A LOW COST DENTAL COVERAGE FOR $249(ANNUALLY) THE PROBLEM IS THAT THEY DONT EVER USE THE FREE SERVICES WITH THE PLAN, BUT INSTEAD OF THE FREE CLEANING THEY OPT FOR THE DEEP CLEANING WHICH IS $1700+ AND THE FREE XRAYS ARE NON EXISTENCE BECAUSE THEY ALWAYS SEEM TO GO ABOVE WHAT IS NEEDED SO THAT YOU NEVER REALLY USE THE BOGUS PLAN. I SPOKE WITH VALARIE WHO STATED SHE WAS THE OFFICE MANAGER. SHE SAID THE PRACTICES WERE CREATED BY THE OWNER DR. WILSON. I SURE HOPE THAT HE CALLS ME WITH AN EXPLANATION. HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE BEEN SWINDLED OUT OF THIER MONEY?????

BEWARE! The office is very nice and everyone seems great, but they have DECEITFUL insurance practices. I called to make an appointment, asked if they accepted my insurance and even explained that they didnt accept my previous insurance, which is one of the reasons I switched. They will tell you they accept your insurance and then when it comes time to pay, they tell you theyre out of network.They have a way with words that becomes very costly for the patient.

Please get a second opinion before going through with this place. They told me I needed 3 root canals, had gingivitis, and 15 cavities. They did one root canal in office and it was extremely painful. I dont think they numbed me properly. After my appointment was over the lady point blank asked me if I brushed my teeth...which was very awkward and made me feel some type of way. Which is what prompted me to seek another dentist. I went to Dr Graminski and I was referred to a root canal specialist in Conyers who did an amazing job. This dentist also told me I only needed 1 root canal, not 2. Only had 3 cavities and perfect gums. Beware please. Dental work is already expensive enough without unnecessary things being added.

Do not prepay for services here. You will have a hard time getting a refund back, your email will be ignored as well. Good dentist but when it comes to office manager and payment service is horrible. Everyone may not experience this but just sending word of caution to people before they prepay for dental services. Updated: I had to get my credit card provider involved to get dispute of charges the office response was that they spoke with myself and said that the doctor had to go out of town and I would get my refund at the end of the month of October which was not correct the email that I received from the office manager was that the doctor was out of town and will return the Monday that I sent the email and my refund will be sent out then which it never was. But this office told my credit card company that they spoke with me and that the doctor had to go out of town and I will be mail out a refund at the end of the month which was not true at all.I dont know why this company is so dishonest. Well not deal with this office again due to this.

Be aware! My experience with them as been nothing but sour!!!! They are there to make money of you!!!!! All I wanted was to get a routine CLEANING done that my insurance covers. My FIRST appointment lasted for an hour but was nothing but evaluation, I was told at the end that they ran out of time so I needed to come back for the cleaning. On SECOND appointment I was told to do a procedure ($140 out of pocket cost) which will get me ready for my cleaning, which would be schedule later; I fell for and paid the $140. Today was my THIRD appointment, which was for that regular cleaning but resulted in another evaluation, I asked the hygienist 30 mins into the appointment when was she going to start cleaning, I was told she was analyzing everything and making a laundry list of items that needs to be done ($944 out of pocket this time was told to me would be the estimate to get those things done); frustrated enough I told her I just want a clean up, why is that so hard, the answer I got in return was shocking, it would be unethical for us to do the cleaning without this procedures. The only thing unethical about this whole situation was them trying to scam me into making multiple appointments and not being honest from the start. I have been to other dentist before and have never found, where they would refuse to do a cleaning that the insurance covers, instead I have always found in my previous ethical experiences that only after the routine cleaning you are handed a paper with the procedures the doctor recommends you do with a breakdown of cost.If you are someone looking for a dentist I would think twice before making your appointment. I am always reporting them to my insurance company.

This dentist office is very nice, friendly, professional and clean. Folllows CDC guidelines and makes you feel even safer. The only slow and lack of effectiveness is the checkout process. The scanner or fax or email was either slow or not working which made getting my dental reimbursement for insurance next to impossible. I still highly recommend this Dental office. Great place

Very pleasant visit!! From the moment I walked in the door, every person was professional and polite. Dr. Wilson, was very thorough and the evaluation of my teeth was extremely informative. The Hygienist (I forgot her name) was so sweet and kind. She walked me through every step as she cleaned my teeth. When I shared with her my concerned areas, she respectfully provided more attention to those teeth.Now lastly, the office manager was amazing!!! She went out of her way to ensure all paperwork was completed correctly. She explained my payments options in detail. She went above and beyond to complete my reimbursement forms with me. She was totally awesome!!!!On a scale on 1to 10, my experience rating was a 10!!!

The staff is amazing. I’ve been going for a year now and haven’t had a bad experience from NO one in the office. Everyone is always full of smiles and I always end up laughing about something while I’m there. They are also very helpful and knowledgeable. Very affordable as well.

I do not recommend this place to anyone. was given an amount for a root canal and a crown and at the end of everything was charged almost $200 more than what i was supposed too.

First time doing a dentist appointment without my parents and they really explain how everything works and I didnt feel like they judged me on how my teeth are. Any questions I had they answered on spot with no hesitation and even explained further when I didnt understand without sounding exasperated or annoyed. The place was clean and inviting and honestly might be the place I go from now on. Highly recommend to try them over a y other place

My son and I had a great experience. Mrs KD checked us in with a great attitude and treated us as if we were a family member! The hygienist was awesome very informative and seems to be an overall awesome person! The Dentist Dr Williams was awesome very pleasant! So Happy that we found this office!
