I went there for a procedure and they told me it can’t be done because they have to check with my insurance, and they sent me home telling me that they will call me in about one week to go back. That never happened, I called a few times, never heard back, AND I had given them my insurance card 3 weeks before having the appointment; they had plenty of time checking with my industry. Oh, did I mention, I wanted that procedure done before my wedding? Oh well it didn’t happen. I would NOT recommend this place, you might not get what you are scheduled for, and never hear back from them.

Went for the first time to Dr. Kerdel, and was a very nice experience, Dr. Kerdel to me was the best, Dr. Matew his assistant as well as Karen front desk. Will go back for sure. Proffessional and friendly all I needed.

Worst place everDoctor is always in a hurry a barely gives you 2 minutes of his time during the visit. I payed on site the balance that they gave me, which they never credited to my account. After receiving a statement in the mail I contact them and I had to send them proof of payment (they were super rude from the billing department). Then instead of calling me to give me the remaining balance to collect payment, they sent my bill to a debt collection company which I obviously paid right away. Ive never paid anything late in my life!I will never go back to this place and do not recommend this place at all!

Best Dermatologist Ive ever been to! Very knowledgeable and will take the time to Speak to you and Listen to your concerns. My dad and I have been coming to him for years.

At first, this place is fine, but Ive tried to get my prescription refilled many times and no one has answered or called me back. Definitely switching dermatologists. Dont come here if you want to be able to get your prescriptions refilled because you will have to go to hell and back in order to do it.

I contacted the office to update my prescription since I am out of the country and unable to travel because of the pandemic and their response was you either come to the office or see a different doctor!! Where the consideration for well being of the patient in this doctors’s office! Very shameful ! Defined I will change providers! Thank you for nothing De Kerdel!

I was nervous to find a new dermatologist when I moved to Miami and I am so happy and relieved to have found Dr. Kerdel. He is kind, patient and very knowledgeable. As important as the doctor is, so is the staff in the front office, especially when dealing with Prior Authorizations and complicated medications. It has been the easiest process and I cannot recommend Dr. Kerdel or his team enough!

An uncommonly positive experience at a doctors office. Very very efficient check-in process, exceedingly Pleasant staff, and absolutely no unnecessary waiting. In and out in about 15-20 minutes and felt very very cared for and looked after. I would absolutely and unconditionally recommend this office to friends and family.

I needed to see Dr. Kerdel and his front desk staff was incredibly accommodating. I was able to see the doctor and be home within the hour. Very pleased with the medical care I received.

Dr. Francisco Kerdel and Dr. Frank Don both of them are excellent & very professional. Especially the receptionist has awesome manner of hospitality, friendly with sincere. I cam from South Korea and very picky. Because korea hospital & Drs office facility,handling all of system efficiently. Anyway, I am glad to find great docters around of me.

My family and I have been patients ofDr. Kerdel for almost 20 years. The staff in the front desk have always been rude and arrogant since the office moved to Coral Gables. I had a major fall out with one staff member and I wrote to the doctor about it but he never responded. So I am not surpresised of the situation my son encountered a few weeks ago.Dr. Kerdel was a fine doctor but in the past years he spends very little time with patients and leaves the main job to students. A few weeks ago my son went to see him and since he does not have insurance he had to pay cash.He was treated as a new patient and charged $300. He told the staff he was not a new patient but they ignored him. I called the office and I spoke with a staff member and questioned the exorbitant charge. I was told that this is the fee for a new patient. I explained that my son was not a new patient and she said that they had a new system and if he hadnt been seen in 2 yrs he was considered a new patient. I explained to her that all of his information had to be in the system since he was reached at his email to confirm the appointment. She informed me that my sons information was in the old system.I asked her to give him a discount considering that I am a doctor myself and that several of my family members and I have been patients of the doctor. She refused stating that the fee was $300 for new patients. I am extremely disappointed and upset at the treatment my son received at the office. I will not return to see Dr. Kerdel and my daughter has already contacted another dermatologist. My sons condition was not resolved by the $300 treatment he received but he is not going back. Im getting another dermatologist for him.It is a shame that Dr. Kerdel does not seem to remember that patient loyalty is very important. From the front office staff, to the assistants, to Dr Kerdel, himself, This is a great medical organization. The wait is often non-existent, and I dont think Ive ever waited more than 30 minutes, the level of attention to detail and care, the attitude, which is so important in medical care and unfortunately, so poor in many offices, is great here. Everyone is very nice and Dr Kerdel and his staff are very thorough. Highly recommended!

When one considers that the United States is ranked as one of the worst in health care performance, the team at this particular office provides the exception. I am no stranger in seeing the professionalism that this team provides to each and every patient. Simply put, They care. From helping to fill out the new patient information form on the tablet. to helping the elderly navigate the health care system, this team makes sure that you are treated with dignity and respect. The office staff just called me to let me know my insurance company didn’t approve the medication that was prescribed for me. They wanted me know that they are working with them to get it. The best dermatologist ever. He has been treating me since 1991. I have discoid lupus(in the skin) and he has always provided me with the absolute best care every time. Every hospital stay he has gotten me back up and running and feeling so much better. I love his work ethics, the best hands down.

I cannot say enough about my visit to Dr. Kerdels office. Everyone was kind and helpful. Both he and his attending assistants LISTENED to my history and then examined the condition of my skin. Other doctors would assure me there was no cure, and Id leave dejected, sent off with the same medications that werent working. Dr. Kirdel did not have that defeatist attitude! He chose his recommendations based on the failures of medications already tried. I have already seen an improvement with his choices, and I am encouraged, knowing Dr. Kirdel is determined to fight the battle with me. Thank you!!! After 8 years of suffering and visits to 10 other offices, this is the first time I have hope!

So for hes only Prescribe diff creams thats not working, still havent done a biopsy or a Skin graph/Bloodwork on my skin he said to come back in 3 months LONG TIME, This well be the 3rd dermatologist in a year, last dermatologist said hes the best at Finding the problem but so for nothing and Im worried and having stinging pains under my skin all the time. Run around.As of 8/13/2020Sorry I will not be seeing Dr. Kerdel anymore, Ive been seeing him for sometime now with no results .But he is a nice Doctor.

This place is prejudice. I felt it first hand. I would give them zero stars but Google forced me to give one.

He only sees you for one minute and walks away and leaves the rest to his students!!! He does to explain anything to the patient and doesnt seem to care. I think he does not fully understand what it means being a DOCTOR and understand how much patients suffer... sad to see a doctor behaves like this. Do not recommend to anyone.

Dr. Kerdel is a miracle worker. I don’t know what I would do without him. He’s the only doctor ever who’s been able to get my disease under control and for that I owe him my life.

Dr. Kerdel was the only Doctor who found the right medication for a condition I have had for over 30 years. The medication acts within 1 week avoiding it to get chronic. I owe my wellness to him and for this reason I admire and respect him so much.He is very professional. I also took my kids for other reasons and plan to take my mother. The Health care system has become a monopoly and most doctors don’t really care about the patients health but the money so having a Doctor you can trust is a blessing!!!

Francisco Kerdel was recommended to me by an amazing dermatologist I know back in Venezuela. I went to 3 other dermatologists before coming to him without any success. I have to say the minute he saw me, he immediately knew what was going on, and gave me the proper medication. Unlike the other doctors that saw me before!!My hair grew back, this was a year ago, I am SO Thankful that words cant even begin to explain. I highly recommend Dr Kerdel.

I spend less than 5 mins with Dr. Francisco Kerdel and he seems nice. He didnt really asked me questions. Front desk was chaos. They are all over the place, and didnt really take the time with patients. Front desk were extremely unprofessional and love cutting people off when talking. I dont feel that they are place to go and NEVER coming back

Everything and more for a very chronic severe condition. Dr Kerdel is one of the most knowledgeable dermatologists Ive met. He came highly recommended by mayo clinic staff. Not disappointed, he knew my rare disease well and was extremely helpful in helping me fight this chronic condition.

I went to see Dr. Kerdel for the first time because he was recommended and I guess he was in a hurry or he was busy teaching his fellows I have to asking to check all my body other wise he wouldnt have. He he send me a few things also he told the nurse to make a appointment so he can remove a syst, they never call me back for the appointment so I call like a month after they said maybe they are waiting for my Insurance to approve, I call my Insurance company they told me that office havent call or contact them, no good.

The only Doctor that cured me of a chronic condition of 35 years. He is the magic man!

Horrible. Sorry but true. Ponce and 8th st. Waiting room full, but wait time not bad. They tried to charge me a copay, each time, pretending not to know I dont have copays. I had already been diagnosed by another dr. Female interns only - seem to run the practice. Doctor walked in for a second, told me absolutely nothing about my conditions, prescribes 3 things (via intern). When I ask him a question about legit. concerns with medication, he literally looked at intern and walked out without answering. Intern answered (not satisfactorily). Then intern did not even say how to use the prescriptions - said the pharmacy instructions would specify. She confused the 2 topical medications. Thank God, I trusted my instinct, and only used 1 of the 3 prescriptions, or I would have put the wrong stuff on my face! On follow up, when new intern told me Id been using wrong medicine, its the first time I have ever walked out in the middle of a dr.s appointment in my life. She actually expected me to sit there and wait for the Dr. to walk in. How humiliating. Never recommend someone like this. He may be an expert on non cosmetic, but this type of practice is unacceptable.
