Visited the practice to remove a painful cyst. The staff awesome!! From the moment you get in to the prep from the nurses and physicians assistant. They are efficient and professional. Doctor F. Kerdel is an excellent doctor. He is very professional and efficiently performs the procedures with little or no discomfort. I would definitely visit them again.. I chose them based on Google reviews and they exceeded my expectations.

When I called for an appointment the young lady was very pleasant and professional and due to a cancellation I was able to get an appointment the very next day. Once I got to the office, the waiting time with no more than 10 minutes. I was diagnosed and within 20 minutes I was out of there again. Everybody was very pleasant and professional. If I ever have a dermatological problem in the future I will definitely come back.

I went here as a referral from my dermatologist for a consultation with Dr Kerdel, a specialist in the disorder I was experiencing. Both he and his assisting physician were very personable and professional, took the time to examine and listen to my concerns, and put me at ease. I waited a little while to get in to see the doctor (right after lunch), but not too bad. My ongoing care will be managed by my current dermatologist.

My appt was at 11:15am however drove around for about 20 minutes looking for parking. Called office to advise of tardiness & was informed that message would be sent to staff. Finally made it into office at 11:50am & was seen right away with no questions. Was super great fun since my drive to see Dr. Kerdel & staff was a 45 minute drive.

I didn’t have a good experience with Doctor Don. He didn’t show any type of sympathy for my concerns about my dermatological situation. He asked me the reasons for my visit but he barely paid attention. He injected me something in my neck for a keloid I was not complaining about. I was actually complaining for some rash I had around the keloid in my actual skin, for over 10 years. He looked very busy during the 5 minutes he stayed in the room and made me feel he was making me a favor by seeing me that day. The nurse on her side had already told me her diagnosis for my visit even before the doctor entered the room.It was a weird visit but I am sure that I will try with another dermatologist. He looked very busy or maybe tired for seeing patients at 4pm.

Go to this place only if you have exhausted all other possible options (e.g., functional/natural medicine) and/or have a serious issue that needs immediate care (e.g., skin cancer). Otherwise, youll just spend money on a 2 minute consultation on something you already knew or could research online (sebborheic dermatitis / rosacea).Dr. Kerdel was quick to diagnose which I respect, although was also quick to leave even though I wanted to learn more about my condition and wasnt finished asking questions. The process felt rushed and Dr. Kerdel and his assistant were impatient and cold in their information delivery.I spent years trying to understand and fix my condition - the least Dr. Kerdel could have done when I explained this was to show some compassion - doctors serve people after all and this is a service business. Instead, what I got from the doctor and assistant was Nothing I can do...so do you want the meds or not?Not surprisingly, when asked about alternative options such as functional/natural medicine, only a vague response came out from the doctor about how theres not much conclusive evidence, when theres been many who have been cured from these options and some felt worse from medications prescribed by a dermatologist!I may have lost my money here to hear something repetitive, but I do thank the doctor for confirming my own research and beliefs about my condition - something I will continue working on fixing myself.I hope this review helps those seeking the same answers about this skin condition and saves them their own time and money. The office is roomy, modern and observes safety measures for prevention of Covid-19 transmission. Computer tablets are used for patients to submit their medical histories, and are a great improvement over paper forms. My initial examination by a young doctor was very satisfactory. After she had finished, her supervising physician, Francisco. Kerdel, examined me. Both were professional and friendly. Fortunately my body scan showed no sign of skin cancer.

It was easy to find an appointment, tha place is nice and clean. My appointment was mainly with his Nurse, she was the one that checked me, told me everything and then called him in. He was with me about 5 to 7 minutes tops, didnt really explain much os the procedures he was performing nor how to take care of the areas after, a had to rush into my questions as he was heading out and I had to ask for something in writing with the medication I needed to buy over the counter (OTC) and how to use those. Tha nurse wrote this for me on a fryer that she found on the counter and that was it.It seems like the cream they prescribed OTC is working, I still dont know about the other process as it was less than a week ago and its too early to say but it seems like it was a good procedure.

I was very impressed when I visited Fl Academic Center recently. The reception was polite with seemingly friendly staff members.
