I took the Microshading course in July and it was one of the best classes I’ve ever taken! Janny is so hands on. She doesn’t hold back at all. I completed a 3 day microshading/ microblading course with Pride Beauty Studio. My instructor Janny was phenomenal!! She was fun yet still professional. Each student was provided a Kit with TOP Of The LINE products and equipment. 😍 The kit also came with a perfectly structured manual that will guide you step by step on how to perform your service, and the tools/products needed to complete each service successfully. During class the information Janny provided was very detailed. She was patient and took her time explaining each step, making sure everyone had a clear understanding. We also had hands on training, and shadowed Janny as she did a ombré brow on a live model. Janny is very passionate about her work and it shows through her artistry and teaching, which is very inspiring. On the last day her assistant Jen taught us the financial aspect of running a business. She informed us on what is needed to start our business, and successfully manage our business. This is the first time I left a training feeling 100% satisfied. I will definitely take a master class in the future as I perfect my craft. I would definitely recommend Pride Beauty Studio to anyone who is interested in becoming a PMU artist.

Awesome experience!! From beginning to end. Wonderful staff and Jana is simply the best. She speaks English and Spanish which is a plus for the Hispanic community. She takes her time and checks on customers if they’re doing well through the procedure. Pride Beauty studio really brought back enhanced Beauty. I previously (in TN) had microblading and it did not go over very well. Within 7 days it looked as if I did not have anything done. A friend of mine recommended Pride Beauty studio and the service was astounding. Needless to say I currently have fabulous brows which was completed by Janny. She was very involved in the process and was interested and my previous experience as she wanted me to leave her establishment very satisfied WITH brows. Big mistake.... I was a new client and scheduled a brow lamination and tint with Janny. First I was a little taken back because I was told, not asked that she was going to do a zoom call for training during my procedure. So basically I didnt get the client experience and to be honest It would have been nice to have at least been asked or had a heads up. Once my procedure was completed my brows definitely were dark and I was concerned but she said just wash them off within 24 hours and you will be fine. I washed off the brows and literally my eyebrows were black and I have blonde hair...I was freaking out and looked absolutely crazy. I called and left 3 messages and a FB message. Finally to get a response 3 days later. I expressed my stress and that I can not walk around in public like this I was hoping she would at least offer to correct the color, but of course not. She expressed they will lighten in a couple of weeks. I said that is not good enough I paid for this service and I look like an absolute freak. I then proceeded to tell her that there needs to be some form of compensation because I am now going to have to pay more now to get this corrected. She said there are no refunds because she performed her service. My response was no you did not I am completely dissatisfied with the service and it looks horrible. Needless to say we just argued and it went no where. I have used quite a few salon and spas and I am definitely sticking to the more well known professional ones going forward to avoid awful experiences like this again. Let me also mention they only take cash upon completion of service which to me just screams shady. Why when I book I pay with a card, but then you only take cash??? First off we are in 2020 and you have a card to pay for everything and secondly we are in the middle of a pandameic so most places do not even accept cash. Absolutely horrid experience. Beware...

Today was my first day visiting this salon and I have to say from beginning to end the service was AMAZING. I got brow lamination, tint, and shape and Janny did an amazinggggg job. I struggle from very thin brows and this honestly did a great job with making them look full and natural! I had also purchased her brow serum so I dont just recommend the services but definitely the products as well. Ill be going back in three weeks again for a shape up and tint and hopefully in the future I do the combination brows with Janny for sure!!!

Went in for JUST an eyebrow wax (more just to clean them up as I needed to let some parts grow back in. Long story short the lady decided she was going to thread them, shes the professional so I didnt argue. I didnt want the powder she did it anyway which made itlook like I hade ridiculously thick sharpie drawn eyebrows! Definitely hid my face on the way to my car and wiped it off with makeup wipes before anyone saw that mess! She also did my lip which again I did not ask for want or need! She just did it I didnt have a chance to say anything until it was too late. Lastly the price was more than double what I had scheduled and at no point while she was doing the things that I DID NOT ASK FOR OR WANT was I informed of the price jump. When you pay with a card you are also payin n.c tax plus N.Y tax and a 3% card fee ending in over $5 extra on a $30 bill. I decided not to schedule here again and found a great place in kannapolis. Brows are lookin good nowResponse to owner reply...1. I was at no point told verbally or through text to bring cash ( I did however have more than enough for what I scheduled to have done on me) the service plus extras taxes and fees came out to $27.74 MORE than the $15 appointment I had scheduled. Totalling in at $35.74, $5.74 of which was tax for 2 different states plus card fee.2. The card reader charged N.C tax AND N.Y tax as well as a card fee. You should fix your setting as well as check the laws on state tax, you are breaking them.3. I at NO point said that I was even kind of happy with the results. I did say that I didnt like them and was told to wash the powder off when I got home4. If you have a client on your table and decide to do a different service than what they came in for you should also discuss price changes. I could afford it not everyone can. Bad business

She’s very professional and educates you step by step!!! I must say microblading is worth it! I traveled all the way from PA to come and learn from janny! She was more than flexible with me after a family emergency happened before our original class date in September, was able to push it back with no problem.Was very responsive with texts and any information needed to know prior to hand. Making payments for the class was easy. Instead of making the rest of the deposit the first day of class, I was able to pay some off here and there.The three day combination & ombré/powder brow class was amazing. Started off a little nervous on my end, I was never really artsy but she showed me tricks on how to practice line & stroke work. Face mapping is an oddly satisfying science that I was taught and it truly helps to customize the best brow for your client. The shading eventually clicked and i was extremely excited practicing with her because the support and positive energy made me feel like I wasn’t as bad as I thought.I was able to shadow a 6 week touch up to see what my work should look like & saw her create a beautiful set of corrective combination brows!! You guys it was basically magic. She was very professional with explaining to her client what’s she would be correcting and showed her what they would look like before she began to ensure that she would be happy before beginning.She’s very honest & watched everything. It was refreshing to have a teacher who explains what was wrong & why, and what could happen if it was continued without crushing your energy. I truly believe that having a good teacher makes or breaks an experience & I was thankful to have one who made me comfortable.During the live model day she stepped in as needed & Made the setting comfortable so myself and model werent too nervous.My kit is the cutest little thing packed with all of the items I need to begin bettering my craft at home.Would recommend anyone who is looking to learn something that can better their career! As a cosmetologist it has made me fall in love with the beauty industry all over again! Looking forward to slaying brows all thanks to PBS ❤️

Janny is one of the best brow artists around. I have been a client of hers for two years. The tinting she offers is a perfect solution for clients who wants a semi permanent option for filling in eyebrows. Recently she has started microblading and I had this procedure done and it was the best decision I could have made. My eyebrows have always been a issue and now they are perfectly shaped filled in and I dont have to worry about doing this myself anymore. Amazing experience!!!!! I was expecting a typical wax but her technique is COMPLETELY different! Very relaxing and pain free. I was incredibly nervous about having my eyebrows professionally done for the first time a couple of months ago, but Janny put me at ease. Her process is organic and painless. I have been to her several times now and I drive about 2 hours round trip because I dont trust anyone else.

Janny has been tinting my eyebrows for 2 years as I was hesitant to go with the micro blading. I finally took the step and it’s been the best decision made. I Say two stars because of her politeness while in her chair. First off my tint only lasted two days!! When I was told it would at least last a WEEK. I also ordered brow wow serum which never got here so I ended up having to drive 45 min away back to concord and there she gave it to me in person after TWO weeks and also filled my eyebrows back in which still did not last. I was notified from her that the brow serum was all organic products but after applying it after 3 weeks my brows broke out Im Now here I am after 4 weeks of messaging her I was notified I would get my refund of $25 back nearly a month ago. Ive yet to receive anything but a message saying I apologize my refund will be sent Im now here feeling scammed. Ive been stuck constantly messing her as we speak to get no response but I see constant Instagram posts. this is VERY unprofessional! I am not the one to bash a business or do anything in that order. But this needed to be said. Very nice lady but def has to get better with communication I would say.

Very pleasant environment. Relaxing experience and Janny is very knowledgeable. I love the way my brow shape and tint came out. Ill be using her going forward for my brows.
