I was treated extremely nice. Had no pain! Was in and out in less than 2 hours! And received my results immediately! I would recommend them to anyone with any type of gastric issues!

I had a wonderful experience with this practice and Dr. Edward Kimbrough IV he was extremely kind and had great bedside manner. He answered all of my questions before and after my procedure. His staff was prompt, informative and very detailed. The admin staff also gave me a a coupon for the more tolerable liquid I had to drink. (Which by the way is the yuckiest part of this procedure) I was so nervous but the reassurance of this staff was quiet extraordinary. I would certainly come back in 10 years when I am due for my next colonoscopy.FYI: my insurance now approved a colonoscopy after age 45 instead of having to wait until age 50. This could be the difference between life and death for some folks. Early screening and detection is super important!

I am grateful to my internist who referred me to Dr Postic. The office staff was very helpful friendly and efficient. They went out of their way to acquire my previous records. The physician was exceptionally courteous, empathic and attentive. He listened, reviewed my history thoroughly and applied the clinical practice guideline using excellent clinical judgment and was transparent about it facilitating the shared decision making process. I did not feel I was there solely for revenue enhancement as I did elsewhere. I had a procedure done subsequently at this practice. It was accomplished proficiently. The doctor actually talked with me afterwards and expressed willingness to assist concern about my unresolved issues. I would grade him and his staff A+.

I have been experiencing the most efficient and streamlined operation since entering military service. The CGA had never failed to take great care of me and my care provider had never soft-peddled any truth with my condition for at least the last three years.My care provider is attentive and works very well with my other care providers.

I have very satisfying experience with the Columbia Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Center and in particular with Dr. Jorge Galan. He is an excellent gastroenterologist who takes good care of his patients. Dr. Galan recommended me to Dr. Sidney Morrison for a surgery that happened to be successful. He followed up on the results of my surgery. For this I am very grateful to him. On the scale from 1 to 10 I give him 10.Dr. Galans stuff is also at a high level.

They were very warm, friendly and welcoming. They explained and answered any concerns that we had.Doctors took the time to check on my daughter before the procedure because she had a seizure before we arrived. After a brief observation, they came to the conclusion that the procedure could be performed as scheduled.

I went here a few weeks back for my first Colonoscopy. This place is beyond extraordinary. As I stated, it was my first experience and let me tell you, they have my vote for having an A-1, seamless process from sending my prep kit to the pharmacy to when they roll u out in a wheelchair to the car to meet your loved one after surgery.Dr. Galan was my surgeon, the entire staff of nurses, the anesthesiologist, the techs who followed up with you before and after the procedure, and how can I forget the check in team, they truly make you feel Covid safe.5 + stars to this place. Highly recommend!

Columbia Gastroenterology and the Columbia Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Center provide very good care for their patients. I recently had a colonoscopy, EGD and esophageal dilation. My doctor found a mass in my small intestine. If he hadn’t seen the adenoma, I could be facing cancer. I am thankful for their extraordinary care.

As always, my experience was AAA. Customer Service is their 1st priority. The doctors, nurses and administration staff are excellent. Their attention to the details of the procedure beingperformed, keeping the patient informed before, during and after a procedure are all exemplary

The attending staff was professional in addressing needs for my childs procedure for which we we very appreciative. Our insurance approved the procedure, yet between Columbia Gastroenterology Associates, Amsburg Columbia Anesthesia LLC, and this entity (a group package), the anesthesia entity was not in our network. As our insurance provider put it, they slid in post approval. Took months to get reprieve from the original bill while another within 3 months was sent to collections as we were paying. The entity for payments for all three is the same & we never realized it as payments for one entity were credited to another, etc. Hate to have to find another gastroenterologist, but transparency is crucial!

Overall it was a smooth procedure. Unfortunately it took 3 sticks to get an iv started. The check-in was a bit cumbersome due to COVID precautions.
