My son has braces with CODO and he had his appliance placed. The ladies did such a great job making sure he was comfortable and that it fit great!!

Very foster care friendly dentist! My foster daughter and I had a wonderful experience at Cumberland Pediatric Dentistry. She was recently placed in my home and came needing a regular dental cleaning soon! Cumberland Pediatrics got her in very quickly, all their paperwork is foster care friendly and they accept her dental insurance. We had a good visit, the staff were all very friendly and professional. The waiting room is very fun and designed with kids in mind! I highly recommend this dental office!

I went in to inquire about Invisalign and I’m glad I did. The staff was friendly and very helpful concerning my treatment. I would definitely recommend this orthodontist.

Dr.Freeman and Jessica are the best. They are efficient, kind, and knowledgable. They totally get little kids! My kids fell in love with this office.Great communication and upfront about all of their payment and policies. Highly recommend!

The worst dentist we have ever been to. We really tried this past year to give them a chance with everything going on in the world but we must have had 5+ appointments cancelled on their end, due to overbooking, their new dentist not being approved yet for certain insurance companies, getting calls saying we had an appointment then saying the call must have reached us by mistake because it wasn’t for us and no appointment was on the books for us. One of my kids has been waiting for almost a year for a procedure. Of the 7 or so cleanings between my kids, 2 were not happy with the hygienist , complaining that she was rude when they couldn’t hold the X-ray right at (4 & 6 years old). The one star is returning my payment after they made me overpay for a procedure up front.

My son has had fillings and caps done before and has NEVER HAD PAIN. This is the second time I have took him to Dr. Freeman in Columbia and when he has got his feeling back he has been in a tremendous amount of pain. A little pain is expected but this is ridiculous we will not be BACK!!! My son told me he seen the needle and now he doesn’t want to go to another dentist! 1 because of the pain and 2 they failed to conceal the needle!! Thanks a lot!!!

I was told my daughter needed sealants and it would be 100 percent covered by her insurance. 3 months later and I just got a bill, I called the clinic and they said there’s nothing they can do. Extremely deceitful.

I took my 2 year old here and was told she needed surgery. After getting surgery I was told it was cosmetic and not needed. Her insurance even sent me papers saying they wouldnt pay for it since it was cosmetic. I was told she only got caps and a deep cleaning. Not even two weeks later I rushed her to the er because her face was swollen and found out she had a serve infection in her face. After saying something to the dentist office I was told I should have taken better care of my child mouth and it was all my fault. I took her in for them to look over the infection only to find out it was indeed not my fault at all. The dentist over filled her root canals and it blew out her gum causing the serve infection. Again I was dismissed when I expressed my anger because she is 2 years old and now terrified of the doctors office. Then they told a friend who refused their service over what happened to my daughter that I was a neglectful mother who didnt know how to take care of her childs mouth. Bare in mind I was never told about her root canals at all. Awful awful awful place dont take your babies here!

This place is wonderful!! I highly recommend taking your kids here the staff and the detist are awsome!! My kid said she felt comfortable with the enviroment and the staff!!

I took my son here as a new patient. The dentist was great but the office staff is rude, they dont call you back when you have a problem and they sent me a bill for over 130 dollars when I paid the day of the visit, when I called about it they didnt know why I got this bill, but said I did owe 96 dollars. Then they wouldnt give my kid a school note for not going to school the next day even though I was told three times they would take care of it only to have the last lady tell me they dont do that. He had two extractions and did not eat that evening he slept and woke up the next day not feeling good. So I do not recommend them, the hassle with the staff is definitely not worth it. If I could give zero stars I would.

This was my sons first time at this dentist and we will definitely return EVERYONE was so nice & WELCOMING. We had the pleasure of having Vannan she was explaining what she was going to do to my son and he got very comfortable and relaxed a lot our dentist assistant was so sweet, and she knows how to interact with children very well as I was sitting there observing everyone is great with the kids (patients). My son is three and he’s a sweetheart so to have someone as sweet as him was a pleasure. Dr. Felix is so very nice and he’s very respectable and great with kids he was talking with my son while he was looking at his teeth, I highly recommend any and everyone to come here you will not regret it.

I had the best time getting my cavity taking care of at this place I felt so happy and safe in there care especially with Autumn and Carol can’t wait to see y’all again!!!!!!!!!

This place is absolutely wonderful with kids! The entire staff is friendly and they have many things for the kiddos to do while they wait and even TVs to watch as they’re being seen!!

They are the absolute best! My kids look forward to going to the dentist because they are gentle with them and make light of the appointment. They are very patient and love holding conversations with the kiddos! Would definitely recommend especially if you have younger children that get nervous at the thought of a dentist appointment!

Hands down one of the best in Columbia,TN!! We struggled with financial issues(having to pay out of pocket for lots of needed dental work for both girls) when my step-daughters insurance from the state they were living in didnt cross over. Even though we managed to get together enough to get partial work done on 1 of the twins, Cumberland Pediatric were willing to set-up a payment plan (all must be paid before services rendered) and we considered going that route. Thankfully, their insurance kicked in here in TN and Cumberland Pediatric Dentistry got both of our girls scheduled within a 2 week time frame! One of the twins just had some extensive procedures done today and she is doing well and the other twin goes in on Monday and im sure all will be well! I completely trust this group of professionals and will continue to bring my children here! Keep doing what your doing!!

I absolutely love this dentist the whole staff is amazing we once had an emergency over the weekend when the office was closed and we were still able to get in touch with a dentist after hours my daughter recently had to get braces and the whole process was very smooth I give them 5 ⭐️

They are good with kids but very rude there was a patient with adhd and autism and when they had left you could here them saying I’m suprised I got him to be quiet that long to do his teeth and then you hear the Dental hygienist saying does he take medicine for his adhd and the co worker said yes the dents hygienist processeds to say it Dosnt look like it

Dr. Nixon & staff are amazing. They are patient and understanding with our special needs son. We can always get an appointment that is convenient for us. Top notch care. The waiting room has tablets & video games for the kiddos. Very clean & well maintained. Best dentist in middle TN.

They were great! My kid is a hyperactive ball of energy but the hygienist was so patient and good with him. Got the cleaning & exam done quickly and explained our future appointment for a filling in great detail so I understand and fully know what to expect. My 7 year old was extra excited to walk in and see video games in the waiting area, ha! Overall great experience & we are so happy that trips to the dentist are no longer dreaded. 10/10 recommend.

This is by far the nicest practice in Middle TN! Our 4 year old granddaughter was so at ease and excited during her first visit. She loved the brightly colored decor. The staff from reception to Dr. Carol were all friendly, courteous and helpful. Would definitely recommend to everyone with children for their dental care needs. .

ZERO STARS!!!! Totally incompetent Orthodontics! My daughters braces kept falling off! And the Orthodontist is only there some Fridays. Often had to wait weeks to get things fixed. Once, we called on a Monday because her wire was poking her cheek. They said theyd call us back. Two weeks later, my daughter couldnt close her mouth. So I called and told them we were on our way there. They removed the wire entirely. A huge two inch long section was into her cheek! I finally gave up trying to work with them and took her to another place entirely. Now they want us to pay them more money!!! Do not subject your child to their neglect and total lack of professionalism!

This is such an amazing pediatric dentistry! Everyone that work there are so kind and great with kids!! My daughter is on the shy side and felt comfortable going in the back alone with them! The service is great and quick! I highly recommend!! Dr.Carol and Dr.Nixon are so understanding and patient with all patients!! I wish they took adults lol!!

Weve taken two of our children here! Pretty cool place, very well setup for children - in fact Ive never seen a waiting room geared so well to keeping the kids occupied and happy.The staff is great with kids and I was very impressed with their ability to pickup on family dynamics and keep everyone involved comfortable and feeling at home.Last but not least, excellent dentistry service as well, we couldnt be happier :)

My daughter has had a few procedures done and has had nothing but great experiences. Im equally impressed each visit, from their friendliness to their excellent dental work. They couldnt be better at handling and caring for children. They earn every bit of 5 stars, every time!

My children have had their teeth cleaned here and also had some restorative work done. Hannah and the other front desk staff are welcoming and helpful when we need to fill out paperwork. When my son had to have restorative work done, the assistants and dentist carefully explained to me what they were going to do. Heidi was the assistant that came to get us and she let me go back with my son for the first part of the visit. Then during treatment I was in the waiting room, and she came out to give me updates, which I really appreciated! She knew my son was anxious, and she did a great job with him. The hygienists and dentists weve seen have always been patient with my children and taken great care of them.

The staff is great, Heidi was our DA she came out and updated me on everything that was going on she seemed to genuinely care that I was concerned about my child. The waiting room is super kid friendly with several different ways to entertain your child while they wait. The dentist was finished alot quicker than I had expected. I would definitely reccomend this place to anyone for their childs dental needs.

Today was our 18 mo old grandson’s first visit to the dentist. There were plenty of activities in the waiting room to keep him busy, the staff was friendly and they did a great job making him comfortable while they examined his teeth. Very happy with our visit.

They weren’t very patient with my 3 and 6 year old. The dentist didn’t tell me they were going to need to pull two teeth but when I went to the front desk they told me that they needed to schedule an appointment for extractions. I’m not taking them back and will find a different dentist for my kids.

After being less than happy at our last visit, we decided to give Cumberland one last chance. The staff should be a little bit more patient with the kids. My son who is two, was told on his very first dentist appointment ever “we can do this the easy way, or the hard way” after he was a little sceptical of what the hygienist was going to do. This visit, we were told my son MAY have a cavity after they noticed a white spot on one of his front teeth, the dentist nor hygienist didn’t bother to look further into it. So, we got a second opinion and it is in fact a very evident cavity with a very soft spot on the front of the tooth! They told us we would check on it the next visit in 6months, which by then the tooth would be in worse condition if left untreated!! Needless to say, we will be letting Williamson pediatric dentistry treat the cavity as well take care of further cleanings!

The staff was excellent, very patient and sweet. My son is always nervous about the dentist and he came out all smiles.

Normally we have a great visit, but today wasnt the case. My daughter had to have a cavity filled today. They recommended using the sedation method to do the procedure, but due to my daughters history I knew giving her the gas would be the better option. The lady sitting back behind the receptionist desk to the right continued to try to talk me into using the sedation method for my child, clearly Im her mother and I know which option will be best for her. Once it was time for her to be called back the same lady that was sitting behind the receptionist came through the door asked me if my daughter had any change in medical history, to which I answered no. She said ok and proceed to tell my daughter to follow her back for her procedure. My daughter is 5 and has never ever had any type of dental work or procedure done ever, so therefore she was scared and started to cry. The lady just stopped and looked at me and said I dont know if we will be able to do this with the way she is acting. So I tried to calm my daughter down and told the lady that if she would be a little more polite and explain to my daughter what she was about to do she wouldnt be as upset and would calm down alot faster. Once my daughter walked through the door she turned around back to me and said I want my momma and started to cry again, at which point she started to walk towards me. At that time the lady stuck her arm out to stop my child from walking back towards me so the door could shut. I walked to the receptionist desk and asked her for the ladys name, to which she replied Heidi. Like I said we normally have a great visit at this office with no problems what so ever, but todays experience was awful. I highly recommend that if Heidi is going to work with children on a daily basis, that she be a little more sensitive and caring. This person will not have anymore involvement with my childs care at this facility what so ever.
