The way station is an awesome resource for the community!!! Ive had my share of mental illness professionals, that has been extremely disconnected and insensitive to patients. However, Dr. Hakim and Ms Linda are awesome and a major asset to this program. Often times mental health doctors appear to be so weird/strange they freak me out and the therapist does not understand anything, so Im never engaged. Not this time! I absolutely love them.

This place is very unorganized, they want you to make appointments but can’t accommodate your schedule . Doctors /councilors are always out or fired as I’ve been told by staff so unprofessional. You will have a hard time getting a appointment and if so it’s a mouth away . I’ve never seen mess

Unfortunately I have to see these individuals and how they operate is quite poor, minus one employee that goes above and beyond.

My provider is great but if I could get billing on the phone to give them my money, that would be great... I’ve tried various times of day, various days of the week, left voicemails a few times. I’m so frustrated!! Also, I might add that the window where you give insurance, the women have been extremely condescending. Not cool at all. I’m not sure if they’re the same people but I honestly have considered switching practices because of the ladies (particularly one) behind the glass (front desk ladies were great.... but other window, no good experience yet).

Just so everything is above board, the review by Joshua French is biased. He is an employee of Waystation. I echo Rhondas sentiments about Waystation not being very compassionate or health oriented. In my experiences with Waystation, they seemed to be more interested in justifying the money allocated for services than they were interested in providing real help to those in need. To give examples would reveal private information that I am unwilling to offer in a public review but I have a less than stellar opinion of Waystation

They initially did well by counseling my suicidal son. He had sessions with a therapist and sawe a psychiatrist who prescribed depression/anxiety meds. My son befan to improve. BUT when he landed a job, they wereally unwilling to work with his schedule which means he has missed his sessions and is now off his meds! He begged then to please work with his new schedule but they only wanted to conform to their own. Now, he has an appointment with a non-affiliated therapisthe in a month. This means he has to go almost 2 months with no counseling and no meds. He is slipping back into anxiety and depression behavior and is having a tough time at work. If Way Station truly cared, they would work with my son and others like him, who are unable to get continual help from their association, simply because they choose to see patients on only a few days a week. I.am truly disappointed with their lack of empathy.Do not go here.
