In August 2021 I had my initial visit for primacy care. The staff and Dr. were, professional, friendly and personable. So far so good - I would recommend this practice.

Brand new patient to the practice. The checkin process was routine. I liked the fact that the online paperwork I completed did not need to be completed on paper. That annoys me to no end! Front staff was friendly and Dr. Nelson was great. Didnt rush me and was very relatable. My only issue was with the 45 min wait time in the lobby. Wish it was a bit shorter. Otherwise, I had a pleasant experience and will return.

I made my appointment online and the check-in process was quick. Dr. Valero was very personable and helpful in answering my questions and concerns. I am happy to choose her as my primary care physician.

I have been visiting this office since 2018 and absolutely love it. It’s easy to schedule an appointment and although Dr. Valero-Colon is my PCP I have been seen by other doctors in the practice and was well cared for. I highly recommend One World Healthcare.

Terrible customer service. Booking appointment is a pain. They never pick your calls and return your calls late.Requests to send refills to pharmacy is never done.You have to wait a long time to see the doctor even though they gave you the appointment but when you are a little late, they refuse to see you.My wife was doing surgery and the surgeon sent them a fax for some information. They never sent it despite my wife leaving several messages.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Sidney Nelson. He was caring and informative as well as providing great care. During our visit I got one on one time with him where he was able to explain things in depth. He was very attentive And focused on my needs and concerns. His front office staff was polite and it was very easy to schedule. I highly recommend this practice to anyone. You will not be disappointed.

TERRIBLE!!! You will never be able to get a hold of anyone. I was referred for imaging they sent the referral order for the wrong side. I needed additional imaging THEY NEVER SENT THE ADDITIONAL ORDER NO ONE WILL ANSWER THE PHONE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME CALLING. I had to physically go into the office to get them to print me out the referral.Additionally no one ever showed up to my televisit or explained the bloodwork I got done a month ago. initial visit was fine anything after that THEY ARE USELESS

Dr. Nelson took the time to listen to my concerns, and then give his professional take on what’s going on. Felt really comfortable and at ease in Dr. Nelsons presence. We figured out a plan of attack in a short span of time, and will be scheduling follow up appointments. Front Desk nurse was very nice, and made the environment seem warm as well as the other nurses in the office.

Extremely poor experience. I made an appointment and was looking forward to connecting with a new doctor. The appointment was cancelled by the doctors office or one world health care. I was never told the appointment, but sat waiting at the appointed time and then 10 minutes beyond. I tried calling one world. No one ever answered. Best i could do was leave a message, which no one returned. I then get a message today asking me why I didnt keep my appointment. Called the number again and left another message. Not expecting anyone to call back. Went looking for a doctor elsewhere.

I scheduled my first visit through Zocdoc and it was pretty straightforward. My first visit, the front desk took some information and got me rolling. I had some technical issues and they were both helpful and patient. Dr. Nelson made me feel like I was being listened to which I think is super important in a medical professional. I scheduled my second visit as soon as the first one was over. Overall a pleasant and straightforward experience.

Dr. Valero-Colon is wonderful. I have extreme anxiety surrounding doctors visits and she put me at ease immediately. She spent way more time talking with me than any other doctor ever has, and asked detailed questions about my medical history and both my physical and mental health. I am so relived to have found a doctor I feel I can trust to be kind, proactive, and supportive.

First they ask you to fill out a medical history form online to speed up the process in office and I appreciated that. Then I got to the office and even though I confirmed I filled all out online and they had my online papers, I had to fill it out again. Then I got back to the room and the nurse assistant reviewed BOTH documents with me again. They asked my height and weight. I said I needed my prescription refilled. They said ok and I was on my way. Absolutely no medical intervention or recommendations there. Literally checking a box for a prescription refill. They billed me and my husband differently and we needed to sort that out so we contacted the office, which they never answer the phone (this is pre-Covid times). Finally we are told someone who handles billing is “sometimes” there and we can email her instead. The woman is emailing from her PERSONAL GMAIL ACCOUNT about my sensitive personal health information. No one is on the same page there and they go back and forth between I owe something or I do not. Avoid at all costs.

He’s not quick to turn to medication but gives healthy alternatives towards total lifestyle changes to improve overall health. I’ve been looking for a doctor who has an open mind, tons of experience, and an excellent bedside manner. Being a nurse I know what that looks like and Dr. Nelson fits the bill! Having a hard time getting medication authorized for refill and communication has been difficult on the portal.

My first visit was thorough and efficient. The nursing staff was very kind and respectful. Dr. V is a caring and open minded doctor who actually listens. Also, the office wasnt freezing which is such a nice relief as most are. Dr. V. recommended quality referrals and was thoughtful in her questions. I am really happy I found Dr. V and her medical practice!

For me it was all well and good. Then I made an appointment for some concerns I had. After a couple of questions the doctor said Im sorry but youre going to have to make another appointment cause I dont have any more time. After 5 minutes of being in the doctors office and being the first patient in the morning! I guess Im gonna have to find another doctor who has the time for one when an appointment is made for that purpose! No consideration for me taking time off work to be there

Always a great experience coming here, Dr.Valero is always very attentive and helpful. She actually listens to your concerns and tries to narrow down an answer, instead of saying the usual “you’re too young”, “that’s rare”. And honestly I love that about her! I never wait too long, and the office is small but cozy. Also she is very accessible in that she will always follow up with you, and if you really need to talk with her she’ll make it happen! Staff is always super sweet. 5/5 from me and my family! ❤️

Ever since my insurance changed, I’ve been looking for a primary care physician in the Columbia area. I’m so glad I found Dr. Valero-Colon! She was really easy to talk to, very professional, and obviously knew her stuff. I’m thankfully on the healthy side but I’m glad to have someone to go to with any issues that may come up.The office staff was fantastic as well. Everyone was professional, kind, and efficient. Those words are adequate enough for an explanation, but not adequate enough to show how truly kind hearted they all are in the front office and with the doctor. Dr.Nelson is a thoughtful man, and listens and answers questions carefully. I value my health, and I only trust a few doctors for treatment when I do need medical assistance. I highly recommend this practise for others. I feel the two most important people we need at some times....are a good car mechanic and a good doctor. Im still looking for a good mechanic, but I found a good doctor at World Healthcare when I met Dr.Nelson.

I’m currently in search of a new PCP, well based on my first visit I will say I was in search for a new PCP. I was impressed with the staff and Dr. Nelson so much so that I didn’t even mind the young summer hire/intern being in training while collecting my information. The staff was pleasant to interact with and Dr. Nelson was easy to work and communicate with. Support this practice, you won’t be disappointed.

Dr Nelson has been my PCP for about 2yrs. He is a GREAT MD! Recently developed a new medical problem, Dr. Nelson and his staff is going above and beyond to get it resolved. The office staff is very nice. They have an on line appointment booking system- you can make appointments anytime of the day or night, which is very convenient. I have always been seen at my appointment time- NO waiting! Thankful for finding this place! Thank You!

I have visited one world healthcare 2 or 3 times for immigration purposes. The staff are very friendly and professional. The doctors are efficient and reassuring. However, the real star of the show is Yanessi Morales (office manager) who goes above and beyond what is required with real dedication to patient care. She is efficient, helpful, and kind I cannot commend her of the clinic highly enough.

I love Dr. Valero! She was very open to the idea that I was interviewing doctors before I chose a primary I would like to see regularly. She listened to my experience and answered my questions about how she would handle certain situations. The receptionist was warm and friendly and answered all of my questions. I never have trouble getting someone on the phone and my appointment started right on time! There werent tons of bored, impatient people in the waiting room and the news wasnt blaring on the TV; it was nice a calm. There is a radiology office in the same building and a LabCorp right across the street so you dont even have to drive to get the rest of your tests taken care of! Dr. Valero called me the next morning with my results. Shes wonderful!

I have to say that after visiting many different doctors in the area- that thought I had a sinus infection- and kept giving me the run around- I came across Dr. Valero- she took her time to listen, to understand my concerns and to refer me out to the proper doctors. Her diagnosis was on point and precise and if it wouldn’t have been for her attention, her knowledge and her sense of urgency, I may have lost my life due to my illness. I have only great things to say about Dr. Valero and the practice. I recommend Dr. Valero to anyone I meet!!She goes beyond and above her calls of duty.My husband is also a patient and when he came from Florida he needed a doctor and Dr. Valero was highly recommended. She is wonderful and I will certainly continue coming to the practice.

Worst health care office I’ve ever encountered and “doctor” Celian Valero-Colon is by far the worst of them all. Very unprofessional, unethical, inappropriate, and dehumanizing services. Because of Dr. Valero’s negligence & disregard for human life, I have been left without care and placed even further at risk. Despite my undergoing a major surgery recently, based on HER referral, and despite my reporting to her acute and severe symptoms after this surgery which she referred me to, she discharged me for no reason and without any follow-up plan. As a health care professional, I know this is unacceptable. Additionally, her most recent message to me stated that I had “generalized pain and fatigue” despite the fact I reported several symptoms to the contrary and am being seen by other specialists for symptoms that have nothing to do with “generalized pain” and reported that I had been hospitalized for my symptoms and undergone infusion therapy prior to first seeing Dr. Valero. She treated me like I had no clue what I was talking about and discriminated against me based on my skin color and health conditions. She also told me she would provide referrals that she never followed up on. Finally, at my most recent and last visit, when I had reported suicidal thoughts due to being overwhelmed by multiple medical concerns and being unable to work due to being so sick, she provided no referrals or resources but instead said, “I would want to die in my sleep too.”Besides the fact that Dr. Valero is an awful provider, the office operations are substandard at every level and not worth the hassle of getting care here. You can call several times and no one will answer. You will receive repeated automated phone calls about test results even when you haven’t had any recent results, already viewed them, or have been discharged. The front office staff is unfriendly and unprofessional. The “medical assistants” never smile or tell you their name.One day I sincerely hope and pray some compassionate person who genuinely cares about patients steps up and runs the place as an administrator, because it is clear as day that as a whole this place is not as pleasant as they try to make it out to be, and that is a major issue for people like me who fell for the lie of their positive reviews. Go here if you want someone to make your health worse and dehumanize you. If you or you or your loved one are looking for kind, compassionate, and competent health care, go somewhere else. This is not a place for people trying to get well. Dr. Valero does not care about your well-being or your life. I would give zero stars if I could.

The doctors have wealth of experience, and what I really like about them is how they take their time with their patients, and make sure they do everything in their power to make you feel better and even whole. I was so excited to become a patient at one world health, and after multiple calls and attempts to make an appt, I have received no assistance. Several weeks ago, I sent an email to Dr. Nelson, requesting an appt, per the directions on the wrbsweb. A few days later, I received an email from One World Health offices advising me to call in to make an appt. I did this, never got anyone on the phone so I left a message. I never received a response. That was weeks ago.Last week, I sent another email, explaining that I really need help, and would appreciate a call back. Again no response. 😞

Dr. Nelson was very kind, approachable and flexible.
