Well, I call this doctors office because my husband was referred from his primary doctor, for a diagnostic, when I called the lady who answered was very helpful, and very polite and nice , I didnt wait no more than 5 minutes to get her on the phone. She made the appointment for the next day which its was what we needed. Once my husband arrived to the office he got checked in quickly and the doctor was very nice and fast. We are very happy with this service no complaints about nothing. Overall it was very good experience at this location. Recommended

I did not believe in bad reviews until I had my own bad experience. ENTAA care is not a good place to go because of the way they charge you. I went to ENTAA office in Columbia, but I received a bill from John Hopkins General Hospital. They billed me $490 for office/outpatient new moderate MDM visit, just for the visit like they are located on the Moon. and then the doctor stocked a little tiny flexible tube into my nose that cost me $487 just to tell me what I already know, like that I have allergy and my nose inside is swollen. They call it diagnostics. Id rather have an old fashion ENT doctor with that mirror circle attached to his head. If you have a spare thousand for that type of diagnostics and then get prescribed a saline spray, you can go there, but I would never set a foot into that office.

Fat phobia? No thanks! I saw Dr. Buchalter for sleep issues and suspected apnea, after my husband went to him and was diagnosed. While my husband, who is on the husky side, was listened to and given a referral for a sleep study, my concerns were completely ignored. I was told “you snore because you’re obese” just minutes after he came in. No asking about my concerns, no reviewing my symptoms, just being told I’m fat and need to lose weight. This is discrimination in medicine and needs to be addressed. I was so shocked, shamed, and dismissed that I avoided getting a second opinion for years. Regardless of size, everyone deserves compassion, being listened to, and respected by doctors. Avoid Buchalter at all costs.

THE ABSOLUTE WORSE! This CANNOT be a Johns Hopkins Affiliate. The worse professionalism, communication that I have EVER received at a JHU affiliate. The cattle call of stacked appointments during a pandemic did not help either. ENTAA CARE; Please educate your staff (Phone and in-office) on medical billing and being polite to customers. THE WORSE .... EVER! 3 hours of vacation time wasted!!!! Johns Hopkins, this service and office administration is damaging to your brand!

This is the worst doctors office that I’ve ever visited. Instead of the doctor asking me questions or providing me any insight about an actual issue i am having, he spent 15 minutes explaining how the mRNA in vaccines work. When i asked about the actual diagnosis from another doctor he spent less than 30 seconds providing a response. The doctor literally told me to join a support group for people who have symptoms following being vaccinated as opposed to trying to understand the issue that I’m having or seek understanding. Since my symptoms followed being vaccinated and he doesn’t know much about the root cause he didn’t attempt to try to understand or seek resolve. I would’ve respected him so much more had he just said plainly that he doesn’t know. Instead, he said to join a support group as if I made up the issues that I’m experiencing. To say the least…I do not recommend!

Dr. Pacheco was very thorough, but to get an appointment they really make you jump through hoops to just get in touch with a person. I was supposed to have a recheck and never received a reminder call or text. My online account was locked for some reason unknown to me and had to leave a message to confirm my own appointment. I received a voicemail with no explanation other than it was cancelled even though I had made the appointment 6+ months ago. I will not be going back to this office and dont have time to deal with rude office staff.

The first time I called, I waited about 45 minutes on hold. Once it was finally answered, the lady hung up on me. I called again and waited another 30 minutes, and was able to make my first appointment. Melissa (rep) took my insurance info and scheduled it. After waiting for my appointment to happen, I am at the facility ready to be seen, and then get told my insurance requires a referral.I should have been told this up front, but nothing I can do about that. I made an appointment with my Primary Care Physician, and was seen for the referral to ENTAA Care. Now today I called and waited another 40 minutes to be told they dont take my insurance. So now suddenly my insurance that I could make an appointment for, and be told it needed a referral, is not accepted at their location.Not only was a lot of my time wasted, but there are inconsistencies in their policy. Overall it seems we are treated as well as Walmart treats their customers. Tanya the manager stated that United Healthcare is not accepted. Just a heads up so nobody else has their time wasted by people who only show up for a paycheck.

I waited an hour to see the doctor for 5 minutes so he could tell me I needed to schedule another appointment to have tests done. While I was waiting for the doctor, I heard two employees fighting with each other outside the door, saying things like “keep my name out of your mouth”. The only people I interacted with that were friendly were the person who checked me in and the doctor. The employee who took my vitals and the woman at the checkout desk were both very short with everyone and had attitudes. Extremely unprofessional environment. As soon as I left I cancelled my follow up appointments and will be looking elsewhere for an ENT.

Whats the point in making an appt when they make u wait almost an hour and a half for a simple recheck!?? (Columbia, MD office staff needs to communicate if there are any reasons for delays as long as this)

We had a fabulous experience at this practice. Primary care physician referred young adult family member with instructions ask for the first available appointment. Phone staff was very helpful. I also said we could go to any location. Got an appointment for two days later. I accompanied my young adult in case he needed help with paperwork or questions (I did not accompany him to see the doctor). I was impressed with how helpful the desk staff was with him. He said Dr. Lee was very kind and explained his diagnosis. He returns to college out of state in a week and was told if he hadnt improved in 5 days to call back and they would fit him in for a follow up before he returned to school. Extremely pleased. Will definitely return to this practice.

I had an emergency. Called and was seen first thing the next morning. Dr. Lee was wonderful and my medical emergency was no more!!! The office staff was great.

I was seen by Dr. Buchalter. He was, to date, the worst doctor I have ever seen. He performed a procedure that left me with a big bill, gave me a diagnosis without a rationale or explanation, prescribed me meds without even telling me the name of them let alone what they do or how to take them. All of this and he was cold, rude, and abrasive from the time he walked in the door til the time he suggested it was my time to leave.

I had an appointment with an allergist at 3:30, got called back into the room around 3:20 and was out of there by 3:40. The allergist addressed all of my questions, and I was satisfied with my visit. The next day I received a phone call to schedule my follow up appointments. I appreciate how on top of things they are.

Just horrible. Who knew a doctors office staffed with professionals could be so inept, unorganized, care less about service and even go to the extent of lying about what I said to my wife. There are plenty of other options and this place should be at the bottom of the list behind all other HoCo ENT practices.

I had to update my previous review: Dr Hamburger is excellent as are Drs Moore (allergies) and Dr Lisk! My previous issue with scheduling speech therapy has been resolved. Jody has been amazing with the diagnostics so far and Im looking forward to working with her on my speech therapy. The ENTAA Care facility in Columbia has all the specialties (ENT/Speech/Allergies) under one roof and care coordination is, therefore, more effective and complete.

I requested prescription again few times and I want to take prescription to pharmacy where I can pay cheaper price since my pharmacy ask $100 for medicine and they faxed it to my pharmacy. They told me that my doctor is off last friday so I have to wait until yesterday to get prescription when I stop by office since they told me to step by office on last Friday and it was nurse on the phone. I called to them yesterday and one staff told me that my doctor is off whole this week. I have to wait until next week to get prescription when she is back.She did send my prescription to my pharmacy and it was medicine fee was too high to pay so I requested other prescription so I can take it to pharmacy where I can pay cheaper. I need the medicine ASAP since I having a pain and they don’t care about patient’s pain. It is hospital taking care of sick people, not store. They have worst service for patients and they don’t knew their doctor’s schedule so make patients to keep calling and stop by office for no reason.

I have been a patient at this practice for many years. The staff have always been professional and helpful until today. I have been dealing with a severe case of bronchitis for 7 weeks. My general physician has tried to resolve it with little success. I had an appointment at 6:30 pm today. A storm shut down some traffic lights and an accident delayed my arrival. I called many times to let the office know what was happening but only got a recording. I arrived at 6:40 pm to see the doctor leaving and almost all staff were gone. I then found out the phone system closes at 5:30 even though the office is open until 6:30. I respect peoples time and always call ahead. I was at a loss for words and breath to be told I needed to reschedule because I was 10 minutes late. The staff had left way before 6:30. It is a double standard when a patient can be expected to wait to see a doctor but a doctor cannot see a patient who is 10 minutes late and tried to reach the office to let them know what was happening. I see that patient care is not always important at a business that has Care in their name.

I am Mrs.Chong Won Kwak and today is January 7,2020. I went to this practice, ENTAA Care in Maryland for myself twice and my oldest Korean U.S.A. citizen teenage son, Matthew Tae He Kwak who is now a young man of 18 years old. Because when I took him to their practice for help for his mucous drainage and they gave him two different surgeries and I am thankful for because other practices would not. Matthew Tae He Kwak was better slowly after his surgery in 2015 year. The surgeries were by Dr.Thomas Lee. I only went twice for minor problems because of much constant stress from others fighting and families,too. I can only give a general comment because all is not perfect and same with good service/treatment in this medical practice and others, too. I am just thankful that he gave needed surgeries for my oldest young son at that time of his youth, when he needed help of chronic sinus and throat problems.

I went to a consultation visit with Dr. Thomas Lee about a problem that I was experiencing. I expected to only pay a copay. However, without my authorization or knowledge, he apparently performed some type of procedure and charged me $300 for it. When I complained to the billing person, she said that I had signed something that effectively was a blank check for him to do whatever he wanted and charge for it without pre-authorization or even telling the patient how much it costs until afterwards. I will never go back to him again.

I made an appointment for the middle of August. The doctors I use to see were not in that week, so they set me up with a woman doc. I honestly dont remember her name. I was having issues with breathing and not able to smell or taste things. The doc performed a scope in the office to tell me to go get an MRI. I went to a radiology office to have the MRI done the next week and they sent the results to ENTAA Care. Today is October 29th and I have yet to hear from them about the results of my MRI, but I have a $900 bill to pay for a new patient office visit and a scope service. I have been with them since 2009 and the last time I was seen was in 2016, but just havent been going every year. Apparently, after 3 years of not seeing them, they charge a $400 new patient charge. I called today to discuss at least getting the new patient charge credited off, but both Porshia and Beth in billing were unable to help. Horrible practice! I dont even agree with the 1 star, but it wont let me post this review.Columbia office is where I was seen at, but all their offices are horrible. I have been to Glen Burnie, Odenton, and Columbia. They dont care about their patients, just the money they collect from them and they dont solve your issues.

I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go there. The doc named warren didn’t seem to be interested to listen what details I had to tell him about my sons illness. If you have to take appointment no one answers the phone call and it goes straight to voice mail and no one calls you back. The receptionists are very rude over the phone and don’t want to answer the questions that you want to ask. Totally unprofessional staff and doc.

Had an early apt 7:10Got there at 7:05Checked in , i wasnt even able to finish the registration when they called me 7:10Then by 720 i was out and in with the doctor at And out at 7:40He answered all my questions, suggested a few things before surgery became an option for my 2 yr old.Great customer service, great service overall...This is the kind of apts i like - especially with lil ones :)

I would rate this as poor. I went to ENT specialist because my ear infection has not healed completely and gives me pain every now and then. The doctor probably took a look at my ear for 2 minutes and said there is no infection. No amount of talking from me convinced him to take a second look at my ear and charged me 230$ to removes some minute traces of ear wax. I wont recommend this place to anyone ever.

We like Dr. Pacheco, he has been great with my son. How ever there billing department is awful. We were charged a co pay due to a deductable still owed. We never received the bill. I kept telling them and finally the women checked my address and they had the street name spelled wrong and told me it was my fault because I I signed the verification paper. Oddly enough the surgery department and Odenton location have the address right, go figure! It is enough that we may leave the practice.
