This is a great facility. Everyone here is very polite and helpful. I went today to get a mole removed and it was like a 3 minute procedure and I was out of there. I would recommend anyone to come here. I was with Dr. Lori and she was excellent.....

Dr Quan is very good at what he does. This is my second time to see him and he took great care of me.

In March of 2019, Dr. Quan performed surgery for my skin cancer. He was skilled, professional, honest, and a friendly, kind person. The office and medical staff there were the same way. Dr. Quan and his staff made me feel at ease and made what could have been a terrible ordeal into a pleasant experience. I would highly recommend this Doctor to others.

My husband had skin cancer surgery on his forehead in the spring of this year. Dr. Quan removed the cancerous growth with a 2 inch incision that at six months later is hardly noticeable. His professionalism and skill deserves the highest rating in his profession. We can highly recommend him. He has our thanks!

I found Dr. Quan knowledgeable and efficient. His patter and humor put me at ease . He was thorough and made sure everything was right before releasing me. He removed a basal cell cancer from my nose and it has healed with no scarring.

Dr. Quan performed surgery on my face about three weeks ago. I cant speak highly enough of him. His staff is just as great. He has a very good bedside manner. He does crack humor but it sure helped me get through something painful both mentally and physically. He also was not shy about discussing his family and his hobbies. If you are thin skinned maybe you need to wear ear plugs?

He went beyond what he had to do with the money I had. I think he is caring and highly qualified & removed some age spots off my fave & now clear as a bell. Great personality!

I can go on and on about my visit to Dr. Quans office, but lets cut to the chase! Dr. Quan is a very well-respected surgeon and I would highly recommend him for dermatologic surgery. Simply put - he is the BEST! And, he surrounds himself with an outstanding staff - from the warm and welcoming receptionists at the front desk to his many knowledgeable, professional, extremely friendly assistants who immediately put me at ease. I visited his office May 23 to have MOHS surgery performed on the bridge of my nose. The visit could not have gone any better. The office was clean with a spacious waiting area. My wait was relatively short before they called me back. I was pleasantly surprised when they allowed my wife to accompany me. That was a big PLUS in my book. The room where the surgery was performed was full of photos of Dr.Quan and his family. There were also numerous art displays on the walls that had been created by various family members of all ages. I must say that his family members are very talented, and the art added a very nice touch to the room. Dr. Quans assistant performed the prep and explained in detail what the surgery would entail. Obviously, his assistants are very good at what they do and especially at making patients feel at ease. I did not have to wait very long (10-15 minutes perhaps) before Dr. Quan entered the room. I had read enough reviews prior to my visit to know that Dr. Quan is extremely loquacious. He did not disappoint! The banter between D. Quan, my wife, and I was extremely lighthearted and quite fun. But, a word of warning may be in order. BE PREPARED FOR THE UNEXPECTED as you will never know what topics may be discussed, and some patients may even be offended. My wife and I both enjoyed the impromtu chatter as it definitely took my mind off the surgery. And amazingly, throughout the lighthearted exchanges in the room, I could tell that Dr. Quan remained extremely focused on the task at hand - and that task was to remove all the cancer while performing the perfect surgery on my nose. After he removed the cancerous tissue, the assistant escorted my wife and me to a smaller waiting room in the rear of the building where we waited for pathology results. ALL CLEAR! Music to my ears, since that meant that Dr. Quan got all the cancer the first time, and I did not have to have additional tissue removed. Shortly after receiving the results, we were lead back to another photo and art-filled room where Dr. Quan performed a skin graft removing a matching portion of skin from behind my left ear. More banter ensued as he stitched me up, gave me instructions on how to care for both the small surgical spots on my nose and neck. He was very adamant that I should NOT deviate from the instructions provided as that would provide the very best results and ensure that the skin graft was successful. We were sent on our merry way, only to return a week later for a follow up appointment. When the bandage that had been on the bridge of my nose for 7 days and 3 hours (whos counting, right) was removed, Dr. Quan declared the skin graft a success. I was then provided more instructions for caring for the graft and was scheduled for a follow up appointment in 3 weeks. I have looked at the graft closely and am extremely pleased at how good it looks even though it has only been in place for 12 days. I doubt seriously if there will be any major scarring. But more importantly, the cancer has been removed thanks to the BEST MOHS surgeon in Columbia and perhaps the entire state. Again, I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Quan to anyone requiring dermatologic surgery. You will not be disappointed.

Ive seen Dr Quan twice. Once for a basal cell on my scalp and another time with a spot on my nose. He is chatty and makes his patients comfortable during a stressful time. I didnt feel he was patronizing or condescending to me or to the women he works with, which someone mentioned. I found him pleasant, amusing, and most importantly, very good at what he does. People are surprised that Ive had anything done on my nose, even after a skin graft. I highly recommend Dr Quan, as well as the professional, warm and pleasant staff of the office.

I wish I could speak highly of Dr. Quan. I was referred to him by my doctor who i trust. When I went to see Dr Quan he had this arrogance about him that was disturbing and highly discomforting. He was not friendly and instead treated me like a cash cow where he was simply looking to increase his revenues. I also found him to be sexist and talk down to the female staff in his office and during our interaction. He illuded to the fact that women need to look and act a certain way for their husbands and that the male in a relationship is supreme. I cannot believe that he uttered this message and that this is what he represents in the year of 2017!He might have been good in the past with the other reviewers but all he sees is dollar signs when you walk in. I suggest you keep walking to another physician who is with the times and not disrespectful towards women.

Dr Quan seems to be fairly well qualified. What I didnt like is the snyde comments he made during the procedure. He tries to be a funny guy and make small talk during the appointment, when all the patient really wants is for him to do the task they are PAYING him to do.I doubt I would go back to Dr Quan again. I certainly would not recommend him to someome I cared about.
