The appointment making and waiting process is similar to the DMV, people irritated and waiting forever all around you. they will cancel your appointment if you don’t answer before noon, which if you and your emergency contact are busy during the day you’re out of luck, which is an issue if you’re a working parent. But the dentist/staff/anesthesiologist are all very informative and sweet.

Excellent staff, clean and lively office.Today was our first visit at this office.The staff took the time to explain what they were doing step by step to my 8yo son. They were also able to answer any questions I had.Derrick is so good with kids and helped my sons visit to be totally comfortable and enjoyable when we arrived. My son was nervous but Derricks upbeat personality and patience with him was very helpful!Brittany and Dr. Charlotte were great with my son and had everything we needed before I asked -next appointment date set and a note for school.Weve also made new patient appointments for my other two kiddos.Thank you guys!! Keep up the great work!!

We really appreciate Derrick for being so kind and informing, I as a parent would recommend him EVERYTIME. His personality is always extremely welcoming and you can tell he is naturally good at his profession. We look forward to getting to catch up with him each visit.

I made an appointment for my 8 month olds first appointment for 9 am. I showed up 15 minutes early to complete paperwork and sat and waited for 45 minutes. I watched every other family that entered after us get called back before us with no explanation from the receptionist. A simple sorry for the wait, we are running behind explanation would have gone a long way. I waited for 45 minutes, and watched 6 kids to be called back before I walked out. My time is important too and I would have been denied an appointment if I was 45 minutes late. Take your kids here if you are wanting to waste your time.

Weve had several excellent experiences for our two kids (ages 8 and 11) at Mid Missouri Dental. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Dr. Todd does amazing work and has both a professional and calming demeanor. Our kids were nervous at first, for their filling, however they were both made comfortable and happy with the positive environment. Great communication, great service, great team. Well be back, yet hopefully cavity free throughout the future!

We have always had great experiences at Mid Missouri Dental! All of the dentists and hygienists we’ve had are wonderful and gentle. Dominique was great with my 2 year old and was able to clean his teeth without it scaring him! They are great with kids.

I had made appointment for my kids few weeks back. The staff from the front was wonderful and patient with me. The manager of the place, Kerri was amazing who took time to help me with my issues with my insurance. She took time to explain what was going on with my insurance. The back staff was also amazing! Thank you to everyone for making my 4 kids and I feel welcome all the way through visit.

We love Mid Missouri Dental, from the receptionist and techs to the dentist. Every one is always so friendly, when you go. They listen when you have question and are very helpful. My oldest daughter has always hated going to the dentist but they are making her realize that it isnt that bad. Thank you Mid Missouri Dental!!!

It did require about a 40 minute wait past our appointment time today however the front desk staff was polite as was the dentist and hygienist. I appreciate the time and patience that they took with my kiddo and making sure she was comfortable

The best damn dental office in Columbia, mo! This dental office has given me a lot of great tips on how to keep my teeth clean. Oral hygiene is very important and this office will not let you forget it.

Amazing experience at Mid-Missouri Dental. This has been the best experience for my kids at any dentist we have gone to (including for my son with Down Syndrome). The staff and dentists are top-notch; this is the place to go in Columbia!

I went to this dentist office when I was a kid and now my kids go here this dentist has become home to us and the employees are all so friendly and welcoming we definitely never get tired of the fish tank there it’s always a favorite for the kiddos I would recommend this office to anyone with children 10/10

Very upset with having to wait for 2 hour for my appointment for to to be only 10mins and then call and cant help us. Just send me somewhere else again. Well not be going here ever again and dont recommend to anyone!!

Condescending office staff, long waits for appointments and scheduling surgery for 8 year olds at noon, with no earlier options, and expecting children not to eat or drink water before a noon surgery. Ive never been treated so condescendingly by office and dental staff. Will never bring my children back to this place.

Mid Mo Dental truly is the best pediatric dentist in Columbia!My 8-year old twins went somewhere else for their first dental appointment, and it truly was a nightmare! They were not kid friendly at all, and I feared the experience would give them both anxiety towards dentists in the future.Mid Mo Dental came very highly recommended. The twins first appointment with them a couple of years ago was phenomenal! The staff is so professional and most important, they are VERY kid friendly. My twins have had several appointments since then, and they have never had a negative experience. In fact, they look forward to going to the dentist! Kudos to you Mid Mo Dental!! Keep up the good work 😊

These guys are completely amazing!!! If I could give it more stars I would. I have three kids, and I made an appointment for all, which they were able to get them all in at the same time. Which was really nice. But then we found out they all needed some work, my youngest needed the most. I let them know we were moving out of the state very soon and they did everything they could to get them in. They got them all in and all the work done within a week from the first appointment. I am completely amazed with how wonderful they were to my kids and how fast they got it all done. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone I know here. Thank you to all the nurses, and dentists that helped my family out, you guys are completely amazing!!God bless each and every one of you!

They do great work and are very friendly and good with my kids. They offer a nice option for nervous kids when they need fillings by giving general anesthesia. They only have a bathroom scale for weighing the kids though, which seems weird to me. Also, make sure you show up 20 minutes early. If were 5 minutes early it seems like we wait 45 minutes longer to be seen.

The only reason Im giving at least 2 stars is because everyone was so nice (front desk lady & dental assistant) until it came to talking to the actual dentist. He was very unwelcoming to begin with when he walked in even before he said anything. First impressions mean alot and my first impression of him was not good. I dont tolerate being treated like a little child & get spoken like one. My husband was also livid but he actually kept his temper under control. Lucky you didnt see his temper. Dont waste your time coming here.. go somewhere else where your opinion matters.
