Okay so I went to them to get a root canal done for my tooth. And they told me the pain will got away after too weeks okay cool it been a HOLD MONTH and my tooth still soar. I was eating some food and I know my tooth is a little soar. So is that normal?? Because Google said it’s not. A root canal is not cheap I pay over 1,000 by myself to get it done. SO WE HAVE A BIG PROBLEM. And I’m so disappointed and very upset because they were nice not the lady who was putting my permanent cap in my mouth she was a little rude because she wanted me to swallow my spit but, she didn’t say it nice she said it just spit u can swallow it. I understand but it been sitting in my mouth and it tasted terrible with all the work you did in my mouth.But they close right now but I will be calling tomorrow morning. I just want to know what wrong with my mouth.

Silvia was amazing! Gentle hands, very pleasant and extremely careful to explain everything she’s doing, or going to do, to your teeth. Front desk staff was amazing, even after learning my insurance provider changed just overnight. They spent over an hour on the phone with my new dental provider to confirm coverage. Equipment and facilities were very current, up to date, VERY clean and professional. Dr. Johnson was very kind, patient, knowledgeable and conservative. She saw one particular cosmetic flaw on one tooth and offered options. I decided to have that flaw fixed on my next visit because I’M GOING BACK! They’re awesome! 5 Stars!!

I’ve been coming here for 15+ years and I’ve always had a great experience. It’s affordable and they’ve taken several different insurances over the years as my situation changed. The staff has always been so kind and accommodating. Sylvia is an incredible hygienist - highly focused on making the visit comfortable. Dr. Johnson is efficient and thorough. I would highly recommend this practice! Even without the cookie of the day, they are still pretty awesome. (Bring back cookie of the day!)

The staff were professional and friendly. I had an 8:00 am appt. and saw the dentist at 9:00 am. Overall my experience was good other than the wait. I rate SC Dental Center 4.5 stars.

I have been using SC Dental for many years. The staff is super helpful and friendly! Silvia is the best hygienist ever! Dr. Lanham is a very compassionate and understanding dentist that listens and cares for his patients!! The fees are in line with other dental places. I gave them a five because I think they are outstanding!!

My dental services today were excellent as always.Unfortunately, for the first time in about 9 years as a client, I was disappointed by an over long wait to be seen. I arrived on time and waited approximately 25 minutes to be seen my an intake assistant to update my chart. My usual hygienist came about 10 minutes later. I asked to speak to someone about the long delay.I had been rescheduled from a previous appointment and chose an early appointment in order to facilitate keeping my own, later, appointments.I was given apologies but when I asked if there were any compensation for my lost time waiting, I was told it was not possible.I inquired if their service model was booking appointments too closely together? I wondered if others were experiencing long waits, was there a need to make adjustments going forward?I wish I had said, if, this day, you were getting behind, did you not think it a courtesy to tell someone already waiting 20 from the time of appointment that that was the case? I could have then changed my appointment with my client.I gave 5 stars for the dental care. I did make my next appointment with SC Dental Center. I hope that the timing next time will be better.

Staff were ready to receive me and begin treatment upon my arrival. Front desk staff seemed more welcoming. Found having to wait for a treatment plan, which turned out to be an agreement to pay for services, a bit annoying. However, I guess it is the time in which we live with healthcare being big business.

Ive been patient of Dr. Lanham for many years. He does excellent work and his dental hygienist Sylvia is awesome. Would recommend if looking for dental care.

It may sound trite, but this dental practice truly treats you like family. My hygienist is second to none. She remembers me and facts about my life. The practice is transparent about costs and the rationale for every action they take. Dr. Lanham is an expert in his field and takes great care of his patients. I highly recommend the SC Dental Center.

This is by far the best dentist office I have ever patronized! They do not make you feel like a number and will address your concerns without making you feel rushed. They also value my time, meaning I am always seen within 5-10 mins of my appointment, if not immediately! If you didn’t know better, you would think you were their only patient! Dr. Haile, is professional, has a great bedside manner and is very down to earth. He is very knowledgeable and will assist you in creating a plan that is best for your dental health, rather than his pocket! He also has a knowledgeable & friendly staff assisting him! I am almost reluctant to write such a review because I do not want them to become so busy, that they lose that personal touch! However, because I know how hard it is to find a “great” dentist, I will share my opinion!

Dr. Kourtland Haile is my dentist. What I like about him is that he educates you and explains to you what hes doing before he does it. I highly recommend him. The hygienists here are awesome also.

I no longer have a fear of going to the dentist. Dr. Lanham was very knowledgeable and compassionate. I was having bad jaw pain. He explained my condition and resolved my TMJ issues. He has also done a couple of crowns for me. I highly recommend him for gentle dental care. Great staff too!😁

Im new to South Carolina and I was looking to establish a new dentist along with a whole list of new doctors. I found Columbia dentist on the internet and decided to call and check them out. From the start of the phone call they were very friendly and set me up an appointment, when I finally went the staff were all very friendly and really patient. They made me feel as if i was a patient there for years. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist.

Do not tell ur Pre-existing condition or he might be afraid to give u pain meds n have u sitting out home about in tears n don’t care the assistant was great and the lady that answers the phone by the way I have crohn disease n given pain meds many of times on a far up. So I know it doesn’t hurt my stomach like the so called crack said n btw he didn’t tell me the tooth was infection before he started bc if he did I wouldn’t let him done it till it wasn’t infected now I’m mostly going to be in a flare up thanks doc
