Dr. Z, Rosie, Brandy and Sophie are all wonderful! Love this dental practice. Sophie’s phone voice is exactly what we all should hear and is equally pleasant in person. She does all she can to accommodate our appointments in a quick and timely response. Rosie and Brandy get our teeth extra clean. Both of them are awesome! We are grateful to have such kind and caring dental hygienists. Dr. Z is exactly what this dental practice needed. He is compassionate, excellent and does a thorough job! Extremely glad he is planting roots in Columbia, South Carolina. We are so thankful to have Dr. Z to take care of all our dental needs. I had my first visit today. I am usually terrified of the dentist. I am so impressed with this office. Brandy was my hygienist. She did an excellent job. She explained everything she was doing in my mouth as she was cleaning my teeth. Dr. Zerener is very nice as well and made me feel totally at ease. I received a treatment plan that will make my treatment as affordable as possible. I am so glad that I have found my new dental home!!!

This year, I was determined to find a new dentist. Southern Smiles is even more than I hoped for! The staff, including front desk, financial and hygienist are caring and really know their jobs! Dr. Z takes time to explain what needs to be done and prioritizes over cosmetic work, saving time and money. The technology is amazing, too! No dental insurance? Ask about their in-house plan. It is worth it!

The whole team at Southern Smiles are great. The office is extremely clean. I thought they were a new practice, thats how clean the space is. Everyone was so empathetic to my tooth pain. I was seen the next day after I called. Southern Smiles was the only dentist office that cared enough to help me even though I was a new patient. I really love the dentist and hygienist there. Both were very nice to me. The dentist knew exactly what my issue was and because of his advice, I am feeling much better. I also need to acknowledge the receptionist. She was the one who listened to me and got me in the very next day. I had called other offices, big chain dentist offices, and the receptionist at these offices did not care nor were they willing to help me. I am always very anxious to go to the dentist but Dr Zerener and his team were amazing and my visit at this office was great. They make sure you are comfortable. I had a tooth break over the weekend and they were able to get me in the same day I called and do a same day crown the very next day. In 2 days, I was brand new again! I wish I would have found this office sooner! It will be my dentist from now on,Thanks yall!

When I went in for my appointment, I was initially very disappointed that I had a new dentist yet again. This will be the third one in less than 2 yrs! But I actually really liked the new young dentist! He was friendly, professional and seemed very knowledgeable. I will continue to use this dental office but I certainly hope this guy sticks and they don’t continue changing dentists!

I had an emergency and was able to be seen the same day I called. I am a new patient and I later went back for a new patient exam. The hygienist Courtney was amazing. I have never had an oral exam so detailed . She took very good care of me. All following Covid precautions and their lobby is closed which I appreciate. Brandy did my cleaning and X-rays. She was very thorough and informative, as well as personable. Dr. Z was very nice and friendly. He was honest and did not try to up charge for anything like previous dentists I’ve been too. If you are looking for a great Dentist look no further, Southern Smiles Dentistry has been amazing over the past two years in helping me correct my dental issues and overcome my fears of seeing the dentist. Their office is top-notch, and their staff is awesome.

Went in for a simple cavity filling, so we thought, but turns out it was much deeper and closer to the nerve than anyone anticipated. I was the last appointment and let me tell you, the doctor did NOT rush me out. He did what was needed and took his time. He was honest along the way and I feel confident referring anyone to this office after the experience I had tonight. They are patient, kind, honest and do the job the right way no matter how long it takes- regardless of how long they were closed!

Had a fantastic experience at Southern Smiles today!!Receptionist is great! I received paperwork via email and got everything done before hand. The environment was relaxed but clean- easing all worries of my kiddos!Today was the first cleaning visit for my 5 and 3 year old children. Our hygienist explained everything to each of them, but was quick!The Dentist, Dr. Butcher was kind, professional and open minded about my questions, concerns and lifestyle (crunchy mom).The three of us were in and out in an hour! Everyone is always so friendly there! I had some extensive work done last year with Dr. Gregory, and today was my second cleaning since it was completed.The only quasi complaint I have is that they are not in network with my particular dental insurance provider. Nevertheless, because I can trust their cleanliness, expertise and service unequivocally, Im willing to pay the small amount required.

Dr. Gregory is like no other. Very fun and professional atmosphere at her office! You definitely dont feel like your average patient here. You feel like you are the only person that matters each and every time. I definitely recommend Dr. Gregory to anyone! Her and her team are awesome.

I absolutely love this place. Everyone is there is friendly and has a great attitude. This is simply a Great Dental practice, I’m very terrified of the dentist and try to avoid it like the plague. However, I had a tooth break while eating dinner one night, and they were able to see me the very next morning. The office is warm and welcoming, the staff was wonderful. You can tell they love what they do. Dr. Gregory is very kind and knowledgeable, plus the technology they use to give you superior service is worth the money you spend. They are able to get Crowns done in one day, which saved me extra days off from work. Rates are reasonable and they accept many different kinds of insurances. I no longer fear going to the dentist. Chose Southern Smiles from web. Was using Aspen, but never saw same dentist, so changed to Southern Smiles. Initial contact was for two teeth that had broke. Needed two crowns, no root canal needed. Procedure took about 3 hours. I have always had aversion to dental work, but Technician very gentle and made sure I was at ease. Doctor was wonderful too. Will continue to use them for future dental care.
