CANDID:So, I want to start with my CANDID experience. Candid was a horrible experience. They sent a kit that was oversized and painful on my gums for impressions and then sent me an email saying I wasnt a candidate. I tried over the course of two weeks calling, emailing, and chat but always got ignored or hung up on. In the chats with CANDID as soon as I asked why did they determine I wasnt a candidate they ended the chat with no answer.SmileDirect:I wasnt keen on trying the whole process over with another company but after seeing all the fantastic reviews I decided to try SmileDirect. I saw they had a location near me which was great so I didnt have to try and get the impressions myself. I went in and was immediately greeted and helped in less than a minute by CECE she was very helpful and informative. She was fantastic and answered any questions I had. It was truly a fantastic experience and I never had to do impressions that hurts my gums. They had a small wand that did a full 3D scan of my entire mouth that was quick and painless. CeCe took the time to explain what I was seeing on the screen and even went to explain the process of what I would experience after the visit. I work in IT for the state so Im always traveling and almost never have time for an orthodontist appointment in person. She explained everything is done by my phone so no need to come in unless I need to. CeCe was truly great and I felt better leaving knowing I was going to get the help I needed to be able to smile with confidence again! Attached is an example of my 3D scans that they took and in the picture you can see the wand tip used to take the scans. Recently I visited Smile Shop for my initial appointment, which I was thrilled about!Tameka was my Smile Guide, and she was smiles from ears to ears, which encourages me to get my aligners even more! Tameka has Excellent Customer Service and explained the whole process to me from A-Z, very thoroughly.Unfortunately, I have to wait till a few weeks into the New Year to get my aligners, however, I’m still thrilled and completely excited. I can’t wait to have my perfect smile back, that I was once use to. Even though I haven’t went through the process of my teeth becoming my perfect smile yet, I know their services will and are going to work, and I would highly recommend their services for anyone looking to perfect their smile for a fraction of the price that most places charge.Best Of Wishes,Danielle Douglas

So here’s the thing. These people are AWESOME! It was very inviting and comfortable.I’ve always loved my smile, just not my teeth. That’s about to change!Everything explained up front, no pushy “gotta buy this,” pitch, which I thought it might be. VERY cool technology of 3D images of your entire mouth. Very affordable payment option, and they are currently looking into my insurance as well.Thank you to the staff for making this an awesome experience!

I had received a promotional offer for a 3 d scan. Cece performed the scanning and she was very cordial. She went through all the details and was attentive to my every question. There was no hidden charge associated and the best part was that Cece did not pressurize to take the service right away. There were a lot of success stories, which show the treatment does really work. So I will probably go for it if my insurance has the coverage. Recommended.

I was running a little late but I was assured that as long as I was no more then 15 I would be seen right away. I was taken to a room with Cece. She was very thorough and made the teeth scan as comfortable as possible. We took my 13 year old in for a visit today. Evely and Tiffany were fantastic. We felt so welcomed. My daughter is so excited to not have to go back into metal braces. This business is awesome. Everyone is so friendly. Especially Tameka at the Columbia, South Carolina location who did my 3D scan. I originally tried to do the impressions myself at home but ended up still having to go for the scan since only the bottom impressions came out okay. From the moment I walked into the building, I felt very welcome. I was a little nervous about going but they made the whole process very easy. The process of the aligners was explained in detail and any questions I had were answered. I was also given a bright on whitening pen and light before leaving. I’m very happy with the process so far and can’t wait to receive my aligners and get started on a better smile that I will be showing off to everyone. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking to improve their teeth while saving money as they are way more affordable than braces and any other aligner companies.

The team here was simply amazing. I was a little early but they let me know they are getting things ready and just opening up. I was offered a beverage to have while I waited and checked in :). The place was a little hard to find initially since there werent any signs outside that really said what was in the Sola Salon Studios, but that is where you are going. It has a bunch of little salon suites that get leased out to companies and individuals. The employee that helped me was very nice and explained how the whole process would work.

This company is terrible! I’ve had to get my teeth re-scanned twice because the liners weren’t correct and actually messing up my teeth more than fixing them. I was supposed to get my new set over a month ago and never did. Since then I had I had to stop wearing the old pair and they broke. I had nothing to use and my teeth have completely reset. So I all the work that I did for 9 months and the $1000 I spent was a total waste. If you ever have any issues all you can get is a 800 number and all they do is give you lip service with no actions. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!! Just go to an orthodontist. I’m currently fighting to get my money back and probably will have to fight uphill the whole way.

They keep pressing about their credit option instead of the normal down payment after I said I’d be back to pay it in literally a couple days then we can get started, then they take the person I am with back to the scanning room and ask for the card information to automatically take it, again after we said we would comeback and pay then they get the other person I am with to apply for their credit option Since I wasnt there to say anything after I already said no several times! That just felt so sketchy and feels like they didn’t care about our needs just trying to sale more credit cards! CeCe was who helped us but besides them pressing the credit cards they were informative
