The staff at Providence Hospotal downtown was very accommodating , customer friendly and efficient .I was admitted twice for a total of 7 days butGot great results!Thank You nursing staff : Caleb, Ala, Ms. Patti. Generally nice and understanding nurses. Doctors were great, but this one nurse absolutely treated me with hostility. I had never felt so mistreated in my life. I sat in a waiting room chair for 3 hours with an 103.6 fever and never complained. When I was seen, I waited another hour and a half in a dentist chair in a storage room before the nurse came in and just treated me with total disrespect. I asked if I could lay down because it was getting hard to keep my head up I was so weak from flu and pneumonia but I was denied a bed. When I had finally had enough and wanted to be discharged, I signed the paper to go then out she comes and tries to make everything better. I only found out I had pneumonia because she told me the second I was about to leave after burning up in a chair for an hour and a half. Very rude, very unprofessional. Id rather die then go back to this hospital. She ruined everyones hard work and great attitude with her rudeness. Ive never felt like such an inconvenience to anyone before in my life. Its an emergency room, Im sorry for being sick. Dont have to worry about me coming back, Id seriously rather die on the way to another hospital then go back to providence.
