Really a gem of RV parks. Less than 10 miles off I-70. Super friendly people in the office. The office has local craft beer for sale which is always a win for me. Bathroom were super clean even at full capacity. Fun Halloween theme.

In all fairness and because the owner was more than fair and more than nice, she saw this review, called us immediately, refunded our $25 “lock fee” and promised to address this with her office staff who were less than nice about it. Great customer service from the owner!My husband reserved this RV park online. They charge you a $2.50 online fee and then they charged us a TWENTY FIVE DOLLAR “lock fee” because supposedly my husband locked in a certain site number online (we were there one night and had never been there before and wouldn’t know which site number to “lock in” anyways!). When we went to the office to inquire and get this refunded they said “too bad!” BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

Absolutely beautiful and so quiet and tucked away. There is a beautiful lake to fish on or just take in the sunset and sunrise, two ponds to fish in. They have a nice shower house and a decent laundry room with very reasonable rates. I highly recommend this place even if just for a night!!

Love this campground! The owner is extremely nice and is constantly seen around the campground making sure things are running smoothly. There are beautiful flowers throughout the campground, the pool is very clean, and the playground was a hit with my 3 kids. Our only complaint was the tight spots but I have been to other campgrounds where I couldnt even open the awning. The clean campground and attention to detail easily made up for the tight spots.

Very nice setting, great amenities, hookups were all functioning, and I didnt have to do anything to level the sight. The management is extremely nice and helpful. The general store carries a nice assortment of snacks, drinks, and even a limited selection of beer and wine at very reasonable prices. My water hose leaked and I was able to purchase a replacement in the general store for $15. My one complaint is that the wifi is terrible. Now it may be better in other spots, but ours was non existent. We had been on the road all day and had a couple of business and personal transactions to take care of which were not able to complete from our RV. If you are staying here for more than one night and connectivity is important to you Id strongly recommend that you check out out the signal strength at your site before you hook up.

Stayed over night, the lot was nice and level for the most part we never unhooked. We did use the electric, water, and sewer. Everything was in good working order. Upon sun up it looked like a very nice well kept park. Only issue we had was an inconsiderate neighbor with a less than considerate furbaby, dogs bark though, it is what it is!

Excellent RV park but we were tent camping and The tent area was too far from the parking area.

Convenient location to different areas of Columbia, easy access to sites for large rigs, well maintained. Lots of space for walking dogs. We have stayed here on three different occasions and will again.

One of our favorite parks! Convenient to lots of shopping and easy on/off Hwy 63. Mostly flat and level sites, plenty of room, good wifi, clean pool, great fitness machines and camp store!! Highly recommended!

A side from the issue we had checking...no flexibility. we were moved from the original site we reserved and the woman in the office would not move us to a site that was next to family that was empty. plus she copped an attitude....that being said the groundskeeper was helpful & polite. The park was excellent!!!You can see by the photos. We will visit here again.

Nice clean park! Nice concrete pad with picnic table and lots are level! Only complaint skinny lots! Could use a little more gravel to keep the mud down. I would stay again but hopefully it wont be rainy or more gravel has been added to widen actual parking area!

Very NICE RV park! We stayed 8 days end of April 2021 (*btw this park was busy end of April for local college graduations*). Very QUIET because several miles off Highway 63 plus surrounded by forest or unoccupied lots. Every GRAVEL site had table on concrete and small patch of grass. STAFF was very friendly and helpful. They have almost everything but gasoline - coin laundry, restrooms, small store, LP gas/propane, playground, group fire pit, DOG area (not fenced but lots of grass) - check their website or call if you need something. We will be back 😊

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! Beautiful property, well maintained, friendly and helpful staff, nice little pool, and the cleanest and nicest bathrooms/showers I’ve ever seen at an RV park! We ordered a fire pit and bundle of wood, and they delivered it to our site before we arrived. We just finished a two week RV road trip and stayed at many different campgrounds and this one was by far the best.

Clean, cute, quiet, decently priced overnight rates and laundry. Cute little pool. Would definitely stay again.

This is a really nice campground with nice amenities. It is well taken care of, and has many trees providing shade at a lot a the sites. Sites are a tiny bit tight, but not bad. The campground store is well stocked, and one of the nicest weve seen, especially for a smaller campground.

Nice staff, well landscaped, gift shop well stocked w/ camper supplies, small clean pool, very tight spaces for campers (like a parking lot). Good for an overnight stay.

Very well maintained campground. The owners obviously take pride in keeping things looking neat, clean and welcoming. The male owner was working hard doing spring grounds maintenance well past quitting time for most on a Friday night. Plus he was cheerful and fun to talk with. Lots of grass for our pooch that likes to roll. Good spaces between lots, we were on a corner #48. #47 would be a good site too, these sites are at opposite end of road traffic.We are not one of the monster RVs so those 2 sites are more suited to our smaller units. But there are plenty of good sites for the huge guys. Laundry had many machines and it was clean. We plan on staying here again on one of our next cross country treks.

AMAZING!!!! SUPER CLEAN!!! Shea who checked us in was very sweet and friendly. We loved the owner. The campground has showers bathrooms workout area a living room with a large t.v...very clean water beautiful roses..super nice pool ..loved the playground for kids..like I SAID AMAZIMG !

Stayed here multiple times and here’s the verdict.The Good: Great staff and for most part RV park is well maintained. Bath house and laundry are immaculate and there are ample on-site services such as a pool, playground, and propane.The Bad: The roads in the park need significant work and are hard to traverse with a large rig. The pull through sites on Battleship Row need some attention as well. Widen and level the grade to accommodate today’s 101” wide rigs. I’ve had to block one side of my coach to get near level in every site I’ve used. You really see this when it rains as there are abundant low spots and places that hold water. In bad weather it’s a pretty big mess. They do a great job with landscaping, but some attention needs driven toward overall infrastructure. Finally, need to update cold wx capabilities and use better heat bulbs or heat tape to keep water from freezing.I’d stay here again for sure, but needs some attention to the RV sites and roads to earn 5 stars IMO.

We had site 76 where all the rvs drive by for registration. The site was ridiculously unlevel, narrow and has ankle breaking ruts.We did not feel any friendliness from the staff.I choose to do laundry on Sunday when all the weekenders were gone. The office was closed, I needed quarters for wash machines, the change machine was out of order, the vending machine was broken, the laundry room was a mess. Roads need work.

Very clean around amenity areas, nice landscaping. I can only give 3 due to inefficiency of office person, spots are very close together. We were told our satellite would work at assigned spot but too many trees. As I said before office person of no help to change our spot.

Truck broke down while traveling. They were able to find a place for us to put the camper while the truck was being repaired.Beautiful campground and wonderful owners!

Clean and neat, but wifi only 1 bar, too weak to keep connection. Arrived at 7pm, office closed, womens shower locked. Pool small but clean.

Lovely RV Park. Great spot for our RV & the gift/gorcery store was well stocked & not as expensive as other RV Parks. Laundry room was very clean & also cheaper than other RV Parks. The only problem we had was the WiFi. We stayed 3 nights & on Day 1, I called the office about the WiFi not working. They said they would reboot the system & to wait 20 minutes. I waited two hours but still did not work. We have a Firestix but it would not work. Our computer & cellphones would not lock on or would lock on, & then a very short time later it would drop again. Other than that, I would have given a 5 Star.

The young lady that was at the counter was great, real personable makes you feel like family and jokes right along with you. She is a gem.

If I could give this location a 0 I would have. They added fees to my stay I did not approve then wouldnt cancel my reservation without keeping my money. Left very upset with no where to stay. Will be disputing these charges with the credit card company. What a very unprofessional way to run a business!

If you are looking for unlevel lots, close together this is the place for you. Pull thru lot has trees and cars that block you in, turning it into a back out space. Most of these campers look like they are here permanently.

This place is a wonderful wonderful place. Samantha and Erica are just wonderful hostess. It has beautiful pool and nice playground , gazebo, horseshoe pits. A very quiet excellent place to stay. Grounds keepers do and excellent job of maintaining the grounds. Very Clean . Will stay here again.

We checked in today, staying for two nights. What a wonderful campground. I am very impressed. We have a 38 ft fifth wheel and no problems setting up. Nice shade trees but not in the way. I highly recommend this campground.

Nice, clean, friendly. Restrooms, laundry, all clean all the time. Not right next to hi-way, but can still hear it. Spots real close together. No fire ring on sight. Get from office. Need to replace 1 road. Real bad washboard. ☹️ Hope it gets replaced soon.

Came in afterhours, registration was simple and easy to find. The park had some shade trees, moving around was easy, nothing ever hit the rig. They had a neat display out for Halloween which was fun to see. Wifi password was available, and functional, but on the slow side. Over all a great stay for an over night.

This is a great park. All the spots are easy to get into and the amenities are great. We have stayed there several times while in Columbia MO and have always had a great experience. Our grandchildren love to come visit and play on the swings and in the pool.The owner is on the property and has personally came to help me with a onry sewer hookup. He doesnt just take your money and disappear he is around and will let you know if you have a low tire or your rig needs to be looked at.Great location close to Columbia and Mizzou but out in the country where you can get back to a quiet place and have a good night sleep.We hope you enjoy Cottonwoods RV Park as much as we do!

Nothing could be changed. The spots were super close and while all set up well, we would have preferred a little more spread out. Would still stay again. Service was great.

Lots were just ok. Staff was not friendly, but did make some effort to accommodate. There arent too many choices in the area, so all in all, I have mixed emotions.

I can only say we have been Doing this for 30 plus years and hands down she is the best person we have ever experienced at an RV park, Then there’s Mark who is also the Best campground host EVER!! Even escorted us to our spot, made sure we got parked properly. These Two are amazing and we can’t thank you enough for your lovely hospitality.Dave & John. I was so overwhelmed with the service that I forgot to mention how great everything else was from the cleanliness of the campground to the nice clean beautiful pool! The gift shop was one of the best I’ve seen, they have a huge variety of t shirts and some of the coolest ones I’ve seen! They also sell a lot of local things wine and beer included. The hospitality was outstanding!

Nicely laid out RV and campsite. Each pull through has a shady tree and full hook up with up to 50 amp electrical. Clean well maintained pool and well stocked store. Well be back

This is a nice smaller RV park. We came here as a last minute stop. This park is very clean and well maintained. Everyone we talked to that worked there was friendly and out going.The pull through site we stayed at was more then long enough. About 80’ for our 34’ camper and mega cab truck. Site had water,waste, power and two tables. Cell coverage was good, we use Verizon.They have a small playground for kids along with a half court for basket ball and a nice size pool.There store is on the bigger side with a good selection of things you might have forgotten or need to replace for your camper. They also have bathrooms with showers, laundry room, gym, craft room and a party room. That’s not counting the the picnic spots outside.The sits do not have fire rings. If you want to have a fire you will have to rent a ring from them. Not sure on cost since we did not get one. They also have a few tent sites.Over all price for the one night we where there was around $40 with our Good Sams card. Check in was 2PM and check out was noon.

The lots are level the landscaping is very nicely done. Pool was refreshing. Unfortunately they do not have cable (I was told the cable company stopped their main line about 500 feet from the camps boundary). Nor do they have a fenced dog run. Bathrooms were fairly clean around 9:30 p.m., but could use a deep clean. All in all, not a bad place to spend the night in the road.

Stayed here 2 times in 2 weeks as part of a trip out west and back. Clean and quiet park. Good sized sites with friendly staff.

My dog Lacey and I stayed at Cottonwoods RV Park for four nights, and it was a great experience. The grounds are well kept, and the gazebo and gardens add a nice homey touch. The bathrooms were also clean and well stocked. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and strives to provide a positive camping experience for their guests. The park has a nice, well maintained swimming pool, a playground, and a picnic pavilion. Theres also an area for tent camping. The store is well stocked with everything from food and snacks to souvenirs and RV supplies, and their prices are competitive. We really enjoyed our stay there, and highly recommend Cottonwoods RV Park.

The camper rally was a hoot and the park went all out with food and music kiddos to Cottonwood

Wonderful overnight spot for us! Full hookups, pull through RV parking, huge playground area and pool, wifi and tons of green grass! Cement pad with picnic table sitting in the space outside each RV parking spot. We stayed a short time but everyone was very friendly and waved to us when we were outside.

My husband and I stayed here for 6 weeks. Mark the owner was there almost every day working and making the place not only clean but sparkle. Samantha in the office helped us numerous times with problems that we had, not with the place but with our rig. I highly recommend this place!!!! We had a 38 foot Class A motorhome.

Stayed over Memorial day weekend- campground was celebrating its 25 th birthday- free dinner and music for all campers! What a surprise! Campground is pristine with beautiful flower beds, nicely mowed lawn and great gift shop/camp store. Laundry room the cleanest I have ever seen- nicely appointed/decorated. Staff so very friendly and helpful! Owners are just the nicest people! they take such pride in their business!We will definitely return when we come back this way!

To say this park is the best is understated! Erika went out of her way to help us with an issue our RV was having. She Reffere did an excellent onsite repair service. Thanks to Doug Mullinax we are all ready to go. We stayed and extra night and enjoyed this beautifully landscaped Park.A storm was coming and Mark drove to each site to let everyone know there was a storm coming so we could get items outside put away. This was our second visit and will always stop here when traveling. Stellar place!

Weve been at Cottonwoods for 2.5 weeks now, and will be here until the end of July. It is a great place to stay, we actually really love it here! The grounds are very well kept, everyone who works here is friendly and helpful. Laundry room is very clean, and cheaper than laundromats in town ($2 wash, $2 dry!). The pool is clean and well maintained. Another convenience for dog parents: there are DogiPot stations on each end of the loops.The park is close to town, but just far enough away to be quiet and enjoyable. Cell signal in north Columbia, in general, is not great, but we manage just fine.You can tell the owners put a lot of effort and take pride in keeping this place in great shape. The store looks to have about everything you could need. We are here due to flood displacement, and will be coming here again in the event that we need to do so!

We camped here with a tent and found their facilities for showers, camping, and laundry to be pristine. Also a quick drive to hiking areas in Columbia.

Well maintained, friendly staff, pool, rec room with exercise equipment, , onsite convenience store, playground for the children, pet friendly with dog walking area on both ends of park and poop bags supplied. All in all a pretty decent park. Clearly the owners take pride in this facility. Now the bad, and dont get me wrong theres not much. I am a travel nurse here on a 13 week contract so was attracted by the 615 per month rate, but was told there was no availability for a monthly rate. The discounted weekly rate was 225 per week, and was told she could only give me that rate for 2 weeks. Im assuming after the 2 weeks I would have to move to a nightly rate.

1st visit for 1 night only, was pretty and clean.

We stayed here one night. We werent overly impressed. The sites are close together and if you have a big rig with a tow, its tight. And I agree with other reviewers. For what they offer, the price is high. Ok for one night. I wouldnt want to spend a long time here.

We always spend the first week of April there, as its my birthday week!! Our son& his family live in Columbia. We have made this RV Park our second home. Especially since they treat youLike family😃,! We just spent the weekend there & will be back next weekend. So if you are looking for aGREAT RV Park in the Columbia, MO area....This Is The One!!

This is our third time staying at Cottonwoods RV Park. Love this place and the people who work here! All are super friendly and helpful. The grounds and facilities are well maintained. The sites are gravel and include a cement slab with a picnic table. And, as other reviewers have indicated, sites are efficient so youre a bit close to your neighbor but isnt meeting new people part of the RVing experience? We will be back!

Was a really nice place to stay the night pool was awesome after a long day on the road!!

We were driving a 30 foot RV towing a Jeep. And we were traveling with two smallish dogs. This was fairly easy to find. It was clean with pull through sites, complete hookup. The lady in the office/camp/souvenir store was very friendly and helpful. The laundry room was immaculate. Our only concern was that the sites were close together- not much room to spread out. There were shaded areas, places to walk the dogs and it was clean just need a little wider sites. We will recommend and go back if in the area.

We have been coming to Cottonwoods RV park regularly for I think about 12 years. We live just over the border (KS) so Columbia is a nice weekend destination for us for bicycling. We have never had a bad stay and the staff has always been wonderful. We are now 45 so we are limited to the first row and those spots are wonderful. I agree that management needs to be diligent in keeping cars out of interior roadways as larger rigs need the space to get in. All utilities always work as expected and every spot we have been in is reasonably level. Over all I give Cottonwoods very high marks and well certainly be returning. I believe we are booked for the last weekend in June so well be back very soon. Thanks

I called to reserve a spot on the 29th then had to cancel due to an emergency. I asked the lady specifically if I would be charged..she said no . I didnt stay and this morning I woke up and she had charged my card 3 times. So I call her up she already knew who I was and told me I called to much and needed to learn respect. That was before I even said anything besides I got a question . She continues to get irate when I ask why I was charged she told me I was rude to ask and she hung up on me. Then proceeded to call me back and telling me I had no need to ask her those questions. I did go to my bank and fix this issue but this lady still has my card number so I had to get a new card. They have been harassing me on my Facebook the women has called me personally twice to scream and yell at me I did cancel my reservation and 6pm on Friday they keep telling me I was sent the policy form and told which neither one happened and they are posting my credit card information online.

Off the road and quiet. Easy in and out.

Great park & store. Fully decorated for Halloween including skeletons toasting marshmallows over a fire pit. Would stay here again.
