The owner sounds very kind and gracious in print and as long as you go along with whatever she thinks or wants. Then later, or if you call her on being wrong, the woman is cold, nasty, rude, hurtful. She doesnt listen to clients and is genuinely just not a good person. There are also not enough products to choose from. Have a necessary favorite? Forget her using or attempting to get it. All of her sweet talk... beware of her nastiness later. Not worth using this salon. Im never going back there. The proprietor is horrible unless you play her game. She is a takeover artist who will not listen to her clients about their own hair. Go to a better, kinder salon.

Tamara, the owner, did my hair and I LOVED it. I made an appointment for hair color, wash, deep-conditioner and cut. I went in without any idea of what I wanted and left feeling like she surpassed all of my expectations. She not only did my hair but she also educated me on how to take care of my hair at home, to help avoid hair loss and thinning. I would recommend her to anyone!! :)

I HIGHLY recommend this salon. Before even knowing that I was greeted by the owner herself, she made me feel exceptionally welcomed as soon as I hit the door. I presented a picture of my hairstyle and she nailed it before she was even finished! Shes so kind, attentive, and took her time to make sure the products performed their duty to the fullest. My hair was revived. Its not just a pay check for her, its a passion and I felt that. 😁 This is my new home.

I had a great experience. I was in and out, which is a plus. The atmosphere was very inviting and the music was relaxing. She played italian opera which is a breath of fresh air! I had been trying to develop natural styles for 5 years, and it was time for me to give up the fight. My texture would not support a twist out or a curly fro.....i knew it already, and I am glad that she was honest with me. I did end up getting a relaxer and a trim, and left feeling wonderful! Originally I had a great experience in the chair although I did feel pressured to get a lighter color and longer cut than I was planning, and I asked for a full head of highlights and she hand painted (I did not ask for and was not asked if this option was OK) which led to bleeding throughout my hair and what I feel to be over processing.I get home and my finance and I both (and it takes a lot for him to notice anything) found a lot of blue all throughout my hair and the stylest knew it was there per our phone conversation, however she still let me walk out of the salon with the blue in my hair.I texted her pictures and chose to call her. She told me she knew it was still blue and said it would wash out. I didnt pay $300 to wash blue out of my own hair. I was extremely distraught that my hair was blue and regardless I did not want to go back to Tamaras salon after this.By the next morning (after I had showered and NOT gotten my hair shampooed only wet, which is untrue in her comment) my hair was yellow. Straight yellow.I was extremely disappointed at this point and I did not feel comfortable getting my hair done again by Tamara.I choose to go to another salon to get it fixed and get the cut fixed.I talked with Tamera who is the owner of the salon and she said she needed to process the information that I gave her about being so disappointed and she never returned my call or text message to come to a solution which I asked for half of my money back, as I wasnt comfortable going back into her.I did not feel she was sincere when I spoke with her about calling back with a solution, and she did put time into the chair I did not want to hear from her. I will also be contacting the BBB.I paid over $300 for my hair and felt very sad and disappointed when I got home and when I expressed my feelings. Per Tamaras response, I did not once say anything about race as I have had styliest from all walks of life do my hair, and I am disgusted she mentioned it in her comment.I dont recommend this salon.

This is the salon for those who hate salons. I am not a get-your-hair-did every week salon gal. I hate going to the salon, but I feel like Tamara is the one to finally change those sentiments. Great location, great salon, convenient and flexible scheduling, excellent work and service with sincerity, smiles, and exceptional professionalism.I needed my hair done for NYE and time had gotten away from me. I read the magnificent reviews about Tamara and they are not legends, she truly is the beautiful unicorn of the salon world. She and her salon are all class! I am relatively new to Maryland and do not have my go-to people for all of my services yet. I am so happy that I found Tamara!I called her the morning of NYE and she left her family to come in last minute, without knowing me from Eve at 10am. She magnificently and with the greatest of ease, colored my roots to match my hair, trimmed my ends, cut and styled new bangs for me, and gave me a gorgeous blow out. My hair looks soft and healthy and I had everyone telling me how great I look with this style. She also educated me on how to maintain and take care of my new bangs.Tamara is a lovely woman, magnificent human, and excellent stylist. I will absolutely be back and I recommend this salon and Tamaras services to anyone and everyone. Since I like her, her salon and expertise so much, I am willing to work harder to upkeep my doo and to make a concerted effort to visit her salon to look my best. Tamara is changing the game of how salons and the beauty service can and should function. As a person who works as needed & on call jobs, Tamaras flexibility and convenience are exactly what I need to make my beauty journey starting in 2018 a regular thing.
