This was truly a salon experience unlike any other. If you’re tired of feeling rushed at other salons who just cut and send you on your way or you just haven’t found the right stylist yet, please give her a chance! No other hairstylist has ever taken the time to truly get to know my hair like Ustena. Not only did she take the time to talk to me about my hair and gave me the secrets to having great hair, but she also spent lots of time perfecting the cut! It looks and feels better than it ever has before. She has incredible talent, knowledge, and passion that you won’t find at just any salon. I didn’t know hair appointments could be this great!

This salon is the best place to get your hair done. The owner does better work with one broken arm than other stylists do with both intact! 10/10 would get a cut/dye/style here any time.

Being a man without hair, I dont go to salons often but I cant imagine there are any better than this. Welcoming atmosphere, great quality of work, and answers to any question you can ask. I followed the advice I was given here and my beard looks better than ever. I cant imagine taming my beard anywhere else.

I cant even begin to say how amazing Ustena is at her salon! Shes transformed my life and is always giving everyone exactly what they want while being so educational. To say the least she pretty much has a PhD in Hair so she the person to go to. I havent had a single person who gave her a try not go back. I have so much confidence everyone will like her. I had never been to proper salon before, but my wedding seemed like a good occasion to look more presentable and my wife had a good experience there. Ustena definitely knows what shes doing when it comes to mens hair, and is very fun to work with. She listens and helps you come up with a style that brings out the best from your particular hair type, etc...That is what Id always hoped a hair stylist would be: an actual fashion consultant, not someone who only asks What are we doing today? and gives me a cut limited by my own meager understanding of mens hair styles.Give her a try.

Ustena is the total package of haircare professionals. I initially met with her when I was looking for someone to do hair and makeup for my Sunday wedding (which she was happy to do!) and wound up relying on her for regular cut/color services as well as advice on how to care for my curly color-treated hair. She is wonderful both as a regular stylist and for special occasions - she did hair and makeup for my bridesmaids, mother, and me, and everyone looked fantastic. She is also generally an awesome human being, and great to hang out with. I cant recommend her enough!

I have been going to Ustena at Red the Salon for years. She has taken me from color to color always keeping my hairs health a priority. Yesterday I was complimented for my hair color even though it hasnt been dyed in 2 months. I go red and that is a hard color to maintain but with Ustenas expertise (both during treatment and in recommendations for at home care) the color lasts longer than I have ever experienced or expected. She also understands curly and wavy hair which is hard to find and vital to my hair. Go see Ustena for a great, thorough hair care experience thatll leave you with your best hair!

Ustena is AMAZING. I have super curly hair and have been through several stylists that just didnt know how to handle my hair or give me a flattering haircut. At RED Ustena knows the ins and outs of curly hair and has all the products that I need to have my curls looking fabulous. If you have curly hair and dont know how to deal you must go to RED. Not only can Ustena give you a great cut, but she is an fantastic colorist and will give you all the tools to have healthy, happy hair.This is literally the only salon I trust in the area to take care of me.

Ustena has transformed my hair! Ive got curly hair that loves to start knotting and get frizzy. After my very first appointment with Ustena (about 2 1/2 years ago), my hair was much more soft and manageable. And my frizz is virtually non-existent! She really took the time to understand not only what my haircare needs were, but also what my lifestyle was like so that she could give me a cut that I could actually manage.
