I booked several services as a package and was ready to go after the massage. I had Ina as a massage therapist and she was nice but it wasnt what I was looking for in a massage. I wanted firm pressure, and I dont believe what I got was really more than a 60 minute rub down. I have quite extensive experience getting massages. Maybe it was just an off day for massages there.The facial was with someone else and it was a waste of time. There was not much exfoliation, no facial massage, no extraction, the mask was nice, no peel, or anything additional.The massage could have just been a miscommunication of pressure (I did put Firm on the paperwork), or an off day for her. The Steam room was nice and relaxing. But the facial was pretty bad and if that is how they do facials, then this place wont get a lot of good reviews on that procedure. Hopefully, changes can be made here for facials, and maybe more focus put on the firmness noted on the paperwork. But the location is great, the aromatherapy was nice, the employees were all great, and I think they can really have something here with a little improvement.

I took my bestfriend here yesterday for the first time. As she had never had a professional massage done before, and this was my first time at this particular day spa. From the time I booked the appointment, to us getting the messages, was pure heaven. They treated us like royalty and definently helped release our built up stress and tension. We will be coming back to get massages there from now on.

The spa is located in one of the office building but it wasnt hard to find. There are plenty of parking spaces. I had an almost heaven package which I received as the gift certificate from my love one. The full body massage was amazing! The facial massage was also nice. The staffs were nice and friendly. Overall was great.

I had a great experience with this spa. I had a 2 hour long massage with hot stones and it really helped relieve the tension in my back. I also got a facial and the lady was extremely gentle with my sensitive skin. Their products are all organic and made my face feel clean and clear.The only issue I had was they were a little careless dealing with my hair that was in braids, loosened up my front and back edges after I just got my hair done.I would still definitely go back! Overall it was relaxing and very professional!

This was my first time ever getting a facial and wow they set my standards high! Best 45 minutes ever. My skin feels so soft and luxurious. Seriously HIGHLY recommend this place. Wow

Great spa! Ive been a customer for years..their past location had a fire, and the new location (which is not far from the old one) is great! They are doing renovations, and I know the outcome will come out to be great. I recently treated myself with a massage and a facial package-- the service was great from the beginning to the end! Must go!

I booked this spa as they were able to fit me in last minute: I have been to many spas and massage therapists and I would rate this one on the lower end. The place was pretty and had a nice ambience. The private steem room was very nice and unusual to find. The massage therapist Anna seemed very experienced and skilled with her hands and I was overall happy with her work. The facial was a complete waste of money, it felt like something I could have easily done at home. The woman who did my facial did not seem very knowledgeable at all, and I would not recommend her: The bathroom being in a public area while you are relaxing and in a spa Is a real turn off. The receptionist was not very friendly or helpful. The overall feeling from the staff was not positive and that would be my biggest complaint along with the high prices compared to other spas. I thought I would be getting a four seasons style service for this price but it was more like a mom and pop spa:

I went to Oasis to get a facial. My esthetician was Irina, and she did a wonderful job. I have oily adolescent skin, so sometimes it can be hard to deal with, but she took care of it nicely. She did facial extractions and a facial massage. She made sure I was comfortable and gave me recommendations on how to keep taking proper care of my skin at home. Overall, very professional. Highly recommend!

I just had the MOST amazing first massage ever. Lana was very awesome I would definitely go back again if I wasn’t moving out of state.

I have to say this place did fit me in when I needed. It is not a very clean place, the bathroom floors were dirty as well. The staff was somewhat friendly. I was charged for a deep tissue massage and did not receive deep tissue. When I asked about it I was told that that was what the therapist told her. I have been a massage therapist for over 20 years so I know what deep tissue is. That was a $20.00 over charge. I needed very specific work on my arms and the therapist did a so so job. I might have been willing to go back but after they overcharged me I doubt that I will. I expected a really nice place for the price.

I have been to this spa numerous times before their fire. I was informed of the move when I booked my appointment for my birthday (March 2017). I got there at the place seemed pleasant. The lady escorted me to a room for my facial. I asked her for the locker room and she said they did not have one.No worries I said, because in my mind they recently had a fire so I figured it took time to replenish their things. She said , Ill move you to the bigger room if you dont mind waiting. Again, I was fine with the wait. I was escorted to the larger room, which was two doors down, and it sounded like a meeting was taking place in the room in between the two spa rooms.My massage therapist told me to change and gave me a robe. Once I changed my clothes, I asked her to use the ladies room before she started. She proceeds to walk me out the salon, down the hall and around the corner in a giant office building to the public bathroom all while wearing a bathrobe and slippers. That wasnt even the worst part!As she is doing my massage, she starts on my back. I notice that she places something on the small of my back. Then I notice the she is only using one hand to do the massage. I shake off the notion of something strange I figured she got a cramp and tried to relax. Then as she moves I feel something again on the sheet between my feet. At that point I realize that she had her phone on my back. Again I shake it off because I cant see it.Then she proceeds to do my facial, ( Did I mention that there were no sinks and running water in the room) I felt rushed but at that point I was ready to go. As I am laying with the mask on my face. She starts to massage my feet. Again I feel the pressure is different from when she began as if she is distracted. This time I could see the light from her phone. I informed the people at the front desk that she was on her phone during the my time and all they said was sorry, but took my money like they provided excellent service.Like I stated earlier I have been here numerous times. I used to love this spa after this experience I was so disgusted. I will not be returning!

Everything from entering the spa to getting my massage, facial, and steam to the checkout process went smoothly and was hassle free. I will definitely be back here again-- I know will surely be bringing my husband here for a couples massage! It is a must- go!

I wasnt originally going to leave a review, but with how my body feels post massage I thought itd be an injustice not to give a shout out to the lovely ladies that worked on me and my significant other.The place was cozy and we didnt have too much trouble finding it. Didnt have to wait too long after filling out the required forms before we were on our way. Cant remember the staffs names, but they were professional and friendly and couldnt be happier with the service me and the girlfriend received.Only problem/regret is that we should have gotten a longer massage, but it being our first time we wanted to first know what we were getting ourselves into. Planning on going back again in the future and cant help but recommend this place to anyone that is on the fence!

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this spa.l was greeted very warmly. I chose to seat and drink a nice hot cup of tea while I filled out my intake.The decor is tranquil but very minimal but nice. My therapist, Shantel, was a true professional.I told her about my problems with my shoulders and neck and she totally worked my knots out. I was so relaxed I think I fell asleep once. My session lasted an hour but next time Im going to schedule a 90 minute . I cant thank her enough for paying such close attention to detail . She really customize my session .I definitely will be back!!

I was recommended by one of my friends to get a massage at Oasis Day Spa, so I decided to give the place a try. I am so glad I did! I do not usually leave reviews; however, I was very impressed by both the massage and my massage therapist. My back felt so loose afterwards, it was very relaxing.

I have been going to this spa for several years. I had never found a spa that I was happy with until I found Oasis. They do excellent work and use only the best products. I am so glad I found it and even after I moved away from Columbia I travel there. I will not look elsewhere again.

This is the most serene and tranquil spot you will ever have a wax at. The tech is respectful and she talks you through the procedure.

Horrible service. The massage was awful. It was basically a lady rubbing oil on me. I could’ve had my bf rub oil on me. The facial was the worst. She was very rough and didn’t explain anything. I have lash extensions and she ripped out quite a few with her roughness! Worst place ever! Save your money!!!

I had the worst spa experience I have ever had in any spa, EVER. I went for a deep cleansing facial, specifically for its extraction (which costs $20 more than a regular facial.) I explained to my cosmetologist how my skin works, where I need more extraction, and how Id rather she skip some of the other steps if she needs the extra time to ensure my clogged pores are cleared. She spent about 5 minutes on extraction and did practically nothing, saying that my skin didnt need it. The rest of the time, she had a hurried touch or spoke like she had a chip on her shoulder (when my hair got all mixed in my face-mask -- because they had no more head wraps -- and I was trying to get it out, she snapped at me, Why dont you wait til the end to do that?! The experience was the opposite of relaxing. Afterwards, I told the receptionist that because I did not get any real extraction done, that I didnt want to pay the extra $20 for extraction. The manager refused and told me I had to pay. The cosmetologist got defensive, telling me she was a professional and knew my skin better than I knew my skin. She was outright rude in her tone, word-choice, and body language. The receptionist tried to defend the cosmetologist, saying, Shes not rude, shes just not used to customers telling her what they want. Sorry, I thought that was part of customer service. Do NOT go here!

Easy to schedule and feel so much better after my massage.

Came here for a Brazilian (my first!) and underarm wax. I was extremely nervous beforehand due to the nature of my services. The therapist was friendly and professional and my nerves instantly went away. The facility is clean and well kept. They use organic wax which is great because I have very sensitive skin. I will be back and will be sending my all my friends here for the waxing.

I dont usually write reviews regarding salons and spas I go to, but this experience was just so bad that I must share.I took my mom here for Mothers Day this year--just simple pedicures for both of us. We arrived at 11 and they told me the appointment was for 1130. I am positive that I scheduled for 11, but I figured, ok, well just go grab coffee and come back. So we get back and we sit, waiting for our technicians to get there. There were mosquitoes flying around. My technician showed up just on time and was very short with any comments until the next tech showed up for my mom 20 mins LATE. One of the chairs had the massage rollers stuck out so that you couldnt use it or lean against the chair. My technician spent the entire time complaining about working Mothers Day and how it wasnt fair that people got to come in that day and she had to be here. She also said to another technician there (who I assume was newer) that she should not plan on getting out when she is scheduled to and that her day would be spent there waiting on other mothers.I would never recommend this place to anyone.I will say that they did give me a slight discount for the inconvenience of the broken chair, but between the wait, the attitude, and the mosquitoes, it was not worth it.I read reviews which made this claim about going here on Mothers Day prior to scheduling and thought it was just a fluke...I should have listened.

The receptionist was not clear about their steam room which is a shower with a steam function within a massage room. It has one seat and would not be comfortable for 2 people, as one would have to stand.The same receptionist engaged in completely unwelcome meaningless conversation for 10 minutes while we waited for a massage.I was charged for the steam room which is really a shower which should be an included service and they refused to provide a refund. They also charged $20 extra each on 2 massages. A total of $100 extra charges which they then argued were valid and refused to refund.KEEP AWAY AT ALL COSTS. The manager will not even return a phone call about the overcharges while the receptionist asks us to stop calling.

Bought a spa package for the Fiance. The place is located directly next to a place giving piano lessons to children, so its already extremely noisy. The music to set you at ease is cranked extremely high to drown out the noise of pianos, but still doesnt. Long Story short, Fiance left after the facial in tears, it was so upsetting.

Oasis Day Spa in Columbia, MD is my pampering piece of heaven. I have been a client of Gagans for several years now. And I wont settle for any other spa to do my bikini waxing. She is so quick and makes an already uncomfortable experience as painless as possible. Gagan is a sensationally sweet person and an ultra professional. The spa is quaint, chic, clean and quiet. There has not been a day I wasnt 150% satisfied. I hope this review helps you make what I have found the best decision ever!!

I dont know about their spa services but STAY AWAY for waxing. I called ahead said I was new to the area but I was headed there she scheduled me an appt. When I got there the lady over booked so the receptionist tried to talk me into threading instead of waxing... No thanks...so They set me in the back room where I listened to the hair dresser explain to a client that curly hair caused knots and thats why straight hair doesnt need conditioner... I went back to the front to stop myself from calling the the hair dresser an idiot. Then I saw the lady Ive been waiting in the back for 40 minutes on was in the front kekeekakaa-in with the receptionist, they stopped laughing and she said oh just a minute. 5 minutes later she took me in the first room and tried to thread me!!!! I stopped her and she asked me to go back to the front until another room was open. 10 minutes later she took me to another room where she threw wax on me and ripped it off as faster than I have ever seen. She then said she wanted to thread the places she missed! She ended up threading the whole area over. Then charged me the thread rate which is more expensive (which I just noticed)! This pushing of threading and over charging and over booking seems to be on ongoing practice according to other feedback. Shame on you. I got out to the car and spent 15 minutes with tweezers evening my brows. Worst experience ever. Not only will I never return here, if this is the standard for a talk if the town I will steer clear of every place boasting such recognition.

After an extremely stressful workweek, I scheduled a deep tissue massage with Brian. I arrived at 10am and Brian was at the front desk waiting for me. I have had several massages over the last few years at Oasis and have been very pleased but Brian was the absolute best! Brian is truly blessed with magic hands. I floated out of the spa. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. My sister booked appointments for my bridal party the day before my wedding at 10 am. There were 7 of us getting manis and pedis and 1 getting just a pedi. They told my sister it would be 1 hour per person, so with 3 nail techs, we thought it would only take about 3 hours. They were so incredibly slow that we were there for SIX HOURS!!!In addition to being slow, they are incredibly over priced, and didnt have the services that they told my sister they did.Stay far away from this place!!!

Ive heard really great things from family members, and there are two stylist I particularly like (Mike and Isabella). Unfortunately, my last visit was less than stellar. The fill in receptionist was a very rude lady; my seven thirty appointment was double booked and she called to tell me that shed rather have me in at two (the middle of my work day), but she could live with five thirty. She than proceeded to complain about how hard it is being a fill in receptionist and that she would have to reschedule her dentist appointment rather than close the salon earlier like she had planned. When I got there she told me she wasnt sure where my stylist had gone, but he knew he had a client so he will show up sooner or later. Then I found out that not only had my appointment been rebooked, but I was also given a new stylist without being informed. The stylist didnt really ask what I wanted done, glanced at the photo I brought in only once, and then chopped off FOUR INCHES when I had asked for two.

Horrible experience. Overbooked and kept me waiting. I dont appreciate having my time wasted. Small location in a corporate office building. Not the calming atmosphere one would expect.Will not be returning nor would I recommend this SPA to anyone.

This was such a disappointing experience. My husband purchased a spa package for me for Mothers Day (very sweet and thoughtful gift). The package included a facial, massage, and pedicure, and I added an eyebrow threading once I was there. I have had my eyebrows threaded numerous times elsewhere, but this time at Oasis, my eyelid was cut and my eyebrows were uneven. I went in for my facial and the esthetician was very nice and seemed to be knowledgable, but the facial was rushed and not relaxing, the comment was even made that they were going to be mad at her because she went two minutes over. I went to get the massage, and this was the only saving grace for my day. The massage therapist was wonderful, making sure to check for pressure and areas of focus. I then went into get my pedicure and was left standing there, neither of the nail techs acknowledged me even though they didnt have another client. I eventually was told to sit in the pedicure station. My nail tech seemed visibly unhappy about having to be at work that day. The only words she uttered to me was bend your knees. She jerked my feet in and out of the water, as well as into position for her to paint my toes. While I sat there, the other nail tech made snide comments to the poor receptionist (?) that was walking back and forth with her arms full of laundry, telling her she dropped something....she always drops stuff going back there. Whether this was the case or not, I couldnt help but feel for this seemingly sweet girl and thought that it added to the unprofessionalism as she sat in the corner playing on her phone in full view of the clients. This was a sweet surprise gift and I hated to tell my husband that I wasnt happy, and I wouldnt have if I didnt think he might gift me with another trip to this place.

Let me begin by saying I do get massages and have for a long time and have been looking for a good local place to go. But as there are many places to go I am very particular about where i am going to spend my money. I went to Oasis expecting a wow experience based on all the accolades they have won. Well,it was anything but. I dont know how anyone can walk into the space (in an office strip) and even think of the word gorgeous. I guess they create ambiance by not turning on the flourescent lights? The girl at the desk was friendly enough though when booking the appoinment earlier in the day it was difficult for all her giggling. I dont remember the name of my therapist, and had it been a good massage i probably would have. The consultation was about thirty seconds long and consisted of her reading back to me what i wrote on the form. The room was plain, bulbs were missing from the sockets in the ceiling - if you are going to have clients laying looking up you might want to fix that. I asked her to focus on my neck and back, but she really didnt pay any more attention time-wise to those areas than she did any other area. Her pressure here was firm, but only in comparison to the almost complete lack of touch on the rest of my body. The routine was clear in the work. The room was cold and i never felt comfortable thru the entire process. I have expereinced this before: It is the case of the therapist making the room pleasant for herself not the client because she gets hot. Needless to say even at $70 i feel i overpaid, and i have paid $150 for a massage before and thought i got a good value. There are just too many little things wrong that i could not in good conscience recommend Oasis to anyone sadly.
