The stylist, catered my treatment to my hair needs. She evaluates your hair and gives you the best solutions for your hair type. I left the salon looking like a million bucks. I will follow all of her instructions and look forward to my next appointment. If you want a stylist that is knowledgeable and will take care of your locks , this is the only place to go.

On Saturday, I saw the hours listed and called to verify that they were open. The phone went to voicemail and I received a text message that I needed to text the number to make an appointment because they were closed. I asked when the next available appoint was and was told on Monday at 11 am. I told her that I would take it and we confirmed the appointment. I get there Monday a little early and texted at 10:57 to verify that we were still on, I received no response. I called at 11:05 and the phone went straight to voicemail. I received a text at 1:22 saying “no tomorrow sorry.” This is not only unprofessional but very inconsiderate of my time and value as a customer.

Let me start by saying it was amazing from the time I came in the door , my stylist was very informative about my hair and what I would need and she aced! I went in telling myself I would need a lot done to my hair and she had a way to fix all of it without me asking she knew and this is how you can to tell real stylist from a fake one , she showed me she cared and also added a nice color on my hair and brought me back to life !! Having natural hair your scared to go to blowout shops but something told me this place was the one and it was it never going anywhere else again !

I would not recommend if you are completely natural. I got a blowout from them about 3 weeks ago and when I went to wash my hair it smelled like a chemical was in my hair, also there are many straight parts in my hair and I started losing chunks of my hair, and my hair is much thinner. The lady never told me she was going to be using a treatment in my hair, I am very upset I have been natural for 5 years now.

I’ve been going to this location for the past five years and have never had an issue with my blowouts until i decided to get one done for senior pictures. the blowout looked great but when it was time to wash my hair, my hair started breaking off in sections and was not reverting back to normal. now sections of my hair is broken off with what looks like heat damage or relaxed ends (i am completely natural btw). it took me about two years to get my hair back healthy and i was able to achieve mid length. but now, my hair is at different lengths all over. will not be going back.

I moved here from out of state. I have been looking for a hair stylist. Not someone who knows how to do hair but also knows hair! I have found her! I am black and white and my hair texture is in the middle of both nationalities it can be tricky. As soon as I sat in the seat I knew I found my stylist. I didn’t even have to say much to fill her in she went straight to business! This the the best Dominican blowout ever! Her techniques are AMAZING! I felt like I was in Hollywood! My hair is soooo soft and bouncy! You will be beyond pleased with the out come just like me! I won’t let anyone else touch my hair!

My experience has been amazing! My hair loves it’s bounce and so do I. She doesn’t over sell on services u don’t need! I asked for a cut n color, she told me my wasn’t ready! And ladies with edge issues she has a product that’s a game changer’ the BEST! Treat yourself you’ll love it!

I had a very pleasant visit to the salon. Went in for a blowout left with lots of knowledge about how to care for my hair and also a great blow out! I have 4c hair that wasnt manageable, but now I can glide my fingers threw my hair! Will return for more services!

This wasn’t your typically Dominican blowout experience. Honestly it was better than most hair salons. She took her time and treated the hair. Most hairstylist wash your hair and blow it out. She washed the hair using a detox treatment, made a hair mask for deep conditioning using essential oils and sat me under the steamer, then roller set my hair. I don’t like feeling rushed when I pamper myself and this was a great experience! I will definitely be back!

Nice service the only thing confused me is that I had to pay a extra 7 dollars because of the brushes and other things she used on me.

I love this salon . Great customer service. I’m from New York and I have always been going to the same salon for 12years. I have found a great salon now in Columbia and will continue to go and invite and advice many people to go especially if you want people who cares about your hair(strength and growth).. This salon loves what they do and are very passionate about hair. Their treatments are fantastic with progress. I went in with dry, brittle natural hair. I lefted out with shiny and soft hair. I know everyone texture is different but mines was able to absorb the treatment fast and well. Others may take time but it’s worth it trust me .. Absolutely amazing experience! I arrived with uneven crunchy hair full of split ends. I typically wear crochets and buns and was ready for a change. I am so impressed with the treatment of my hair and scalp! After choosing the Dominican blowout, my hair has body, moves freely, and a nice sheen! I’m very tender-headed, but at no point was I uncomfortable during blowout process. So happy with results. I’m definitely coming back.

I travel the country all of the time for work and I dont have a regular stylist however when it is time to get a blow out i always come here. Out of all of the hair salons Ive been to no one has ever provided service tailored to my hair needs. Typically when you get your hair done you get sent straight to the bowl for a wash and then style. Not here... my hair was examined and it was determined that I needed to have my hair detoxed and a steam treatment.... needless to say my low porosity hair was immediately transformed into a set of luscious locks that I cant keep my hands off of!!! Many try to imitate but dont even come close. And those horror stories you here about scalps being burned left and right.... not here!!!!

This was my first time here and I had a great experience they use all natural ingredients on my hair, they don’t use a lot of heat which is most people’s concern. It’s great for all hair textures I’m definitely going back

I’m so glad that I chose this salon. Airam is very knowledgeable of hair and she has a beautiful spirit. I’ve never been able to tame my frizzy, dry hair until I came to her. She gave me tips, treated my hair and was able to transform my frizzy, dry hair to “silk”. If you’re in the Columbia area, this is the place to go for a Dominican blowout; etc.. She does great blowouts and knows how to treat hair!

I love this place!! I first found them about 6 years ago. When I recently returned to Columbia this was the first place I wanted to go for my hair styling. I to this day have never let any other stylist in Columbia cut my hair. Ive played around with getting color done in other salons just to find myself back in their chair to fix me. And I have NEVER been disappointed!! They are super friendly and make you feel comfortable. I always leave with healthier silkier hair than when I walked in. If I could give more stars I would!

This salon owner charged my elderly aunt $100.00 for a blow out with a collegen treatment and told her the blowout would last three to four weeks. My aunts hair lasted TWO DAYS! Do not waste your money here.

She came and opened the store an hour late while we were waiting outside for our appointment. I know a little bit of spanish and the woman was talking about how she would charge based on if its ugly or not. Also after the worst hairstyle we have ever gotten she over charged us for stuff we didnt ask for. I wish I could could give this unprofessional business ZERO STARS. Do not waste your time or money.

Finally found someone to care for my hair. From NJ to SC, boy its been a struggle but I feel good to have found this salon. The stylist was confident in her work, knowledgeable, honest, kind and the pricing as expected in the south. I love my doobie and trim, and I will be returning.

I visited the salon on 10/23 and had an awesome experience. It was my very first time getting a Dominican blowout. Airam provided the services and was very professional, personable and hilarious. I felt like I’ve known her for years.Airam took the time to educate me on my hair type and recommended the collagen treatment. When she was done, my hair was super shiny. It’s like my hair was REVIVED. She made recommendations on how to care for my hair and preserve my blowout.When you visit for your blowout and treatment (which I highly recommend), pick up a Dominican Doobie Wrap! It’s amazing!!! I can literally wrap my hair in 10 seconds or less!Airam made an awesome first impression... I’ll be returning for sure.

DO NOT GO HERE !!! SHE BURNED MY FACE! I really wish I could give ZERO STARS! She is waaaaay over priced, and there are other places to go get a blowout... without getting burned!! It was my second time there. I only went because I needed a “last minute” blowout and she was the only place that could take me. I left with a burn on my face, and my hair wasn’t even straight. I asked for a trim, and she thinned my hair and cut almost 2 inches. NEVER AGAIN. Also, she’s not even friendly. Her husband is friendly, though.

My girlfriend goes here often. The salon is clean and the owners are very friendly. She likes the fact that the owners are the ones to take care of your hair. They tell you every step of the way what they are doing, and even gives you some interesting facts about hair management She has natural hair and it is done with care. They take the time to understand what your hair needs and work weekly to make ir/keep it as healthy as posdible. The downside is that because the owners pride themselves on quality work, there may be times where there is a wait for blowouts, but I would rather that than not having full quality service. I would absolutely recommend this place to others. My girlfriends always looks amazing.

I enjoy this shop!!! They are professional fast and friendly. My hair always looks great and I receive many compliments. They give you a stamp on your card each visit and after 8 visits you get 15 percent off. When its time to pay they use Paypal swipe your card then you select a tip amount or no tip your choice. I typically do not make an appt but I have never had to wait more than 30 minutes.

If I could give them zero stars I would. She burn my damn head and pull out my damn hair. Services was rude and rushed. Tried to pay cash but no one had change and then over charge me to use a credit card. They are over priced for natural hair with sorry service. I went there today for the first time today. I had a good experience.I had got my hair color. What i like is that i felt like she cared about my hair. She prep my hair..dye it ..and told me how to take care of it..im going to try that karatin treatment soon ..i hope it works

Horrible costumer service. The burned my hair and scalp so bad until I had to cut all my hair over and start from scratch. The stylist, if you want to call her that, rippediatric and tugged at my hair so bad. If youre someone whos interested in preserving your natural hair then please do not allow these people to touch your hair. If I could give them a zero or a negative I would.

I love my people, however, I understand how judgmental and fearful they can be of people who aren’t colored in the same skin. With that being said don’t be fooled by all that you read. People place reviews who have never gotten a service. People place reviews who try to discredit great businesses. People place reviews out of hatred and total disregard of how much they play a part in their own terrible experiences. Airam is the best. The first time I came to see her I nearly cried at the way my edges were from previous see ins. Two weeks later my hair was thriving better than it had ever been. 2 months later and I thank my lucky starts I found her. Ethnicity should ever determine the quality of someone’s work. Dominicans, African American, Causian, Mexican, who cares. Ariam knows hair. No matter what kind of head it’s connected to. Highly highly highly recommended! I couldn’t be happier... As for cheap, remember you get what you pay for.

I went here a few years ago to get a blowout and hair cut in layers. The blow out wasnt sleek and shiny and she part my hair in 3 sections and gave me some mess up layers.

After a 75.99 dollar texturizer was placed in my hair. It has been falling out, dry even after I moisture it. After twelve wks I finally placed a relaxer in my hair . Please do not allow this place to put a texturizer in your hair. I ws almost ball headed. Please do your research do not allow anyone to place a texturizer if you dont have curly hair. I hate myself, I have to grow it all over again

I was planning to get my hair colored and straighten....i booked the appointment online and had cash on me to pay for services rendered. I didnt get it done because the card that was used to make the appointment wasnt mine. He said he wouldnt do it, I said fine reimburse the 25 and Ill go get my hair done elsewhere. He said 25 not gonna hurt my bank. I said ok and....you ate very rude and ugly and I dont care about your money....its all good cuz Im getting my hair done as i speak and I am paying cash. Never judge a book by its cover.....glad I didnt get it done after reading the comments!!!!
