This facility needs to be investigated! (Brooksie?) and Brittany/social advisor are very unprofessional! I will be contacting the facility owner to report the horrible incident that took place there today. I have never in my life seen such behavior from the staff especially these two young ladies and I will contact everyone on the board panel and request an investigation into this facility. At no time should the staff mishandled an elder gentleman in a wheelchair by force!! The administrator witnessed this and apart from that, both of these young ladies got very irate with me outside the facility doors upon release of the resident. No information for meds was provided. I was handed a plastic bag and was advised that his meds were in the bag, no instructions were provided upon release! This should not be tolerated at any time and these two staff members need to be released from their positions. I absolutely can not believe what I witnessed today! I cant believe how they verbally attacked myself and the resident and I cant believe that this is actually tolerated! How many other elder residents are being mistreated at this facility?? What is going on? Was their demeanor and attitudes a part of their training? Do these ladies have the proper training? Unbelievable and I never would have believe it in this sense had I not been subjected to it and seen it first hand!!Who is over the adminitrator here at this facility?

The administrator runs this facility into the ground as she employes her family members who are not qualified to be filling that position but she only wants to give them the job not care about the job being completed. Very unprofessianol behavor from her and the DON, why state has not pushed to get this place shut down or new management is insane. When a child has the role of administrator the facility will fall.

Horrible staff. The charge nurse is rude and left the facility after I complained instead of solving the problem. Oh and dont depend on Division of Senior Services because they could care lessCiting them would just mean more work for them. Horrible place. Went to visit my father he was surrounded by flies left to sit in diarrhea. Two days later my father fell out of his bed and bled to death. Please do not send your loved one to this place. Hope this review saves a life😥

My grandma is currently a resident at this facility. I visited with her yesterday and she went on and on about how great the staff has been treating her. We all have those worries of our family members being mistreated or not getting the care they deserve. After hearing what my grandma had to say, really left me feeling reassured that she was getting what she needed. It really warmed my heart and the staff treats her as if she were their Gma.Thank you for having such a great team! It is a tough job and my Gma is satisfied with her experience so far! I would recommend this place!

I dont recommend this place to anyone. The new Administer is stuck up and can be rude at times walking around like she is better than everyone and for her to be a CNA she dont inact with the residents but there are staff members who so care and it shows and I do love them for that and they know who they are.

Horrible place! All but a choice few of the aids had terrible attitudes, and even acted bothered when you asked for things. Ya know? Like what their job description is. Call lights were 30 minutes or more half the time. After the honeymoon phase they were rude and even verbally abusive. Not after I checked a few of them, though. As if it even had to come to that. I bet if I was able bodied they wouldnt have spoken to me like that. My 2000 CC large bedside urine bag was usually so full, it looked like a basketball when they would finally empty it, and that was when was I usually thought of it myself and asked them to check it. Then when my urostomy bag would leak about every 3 days, or when the bag backed up and blew my urostomy bag off, they would b**ch and moan about having to change it, and try to make me feel guilty about it. Wow! Some evil stuff, right? THEN! One time I had to go to the wound docs to be seen and they actually TRANSPORTED ME THERE IN A GERI CHAIR!!! If you dont know what it is, I put a picture below. No brakes/tie downs, or nothing!!!! Beyond dangerous AND ILLEGAL! To the drivers credit, it wasnt her fault. It was totally the administration. The few aids that were great is what helped me make it through, and I totally got along with, yet was real. You know who you are. Unfortunately names escape me after so many months. But the one aid I will NEVER forget is my morning/day shift aid, Ashley McDonald. She was my angel when it came to someone not only taking care of my needs, but doing it with, love, and patience, and care. If we had any issues or time problems we always worked them out. I hope that shes moved on to someplace who will pay her and value her as she should be. Unfortunately, none of the aids are paid anything near what they deserve for what they do, so the burn out and resentment rolls down hill to the residents, unfortunately. If you dont like your job, QUIT! Make it easier on yourself, the staff, and the residents! If youre a good person another, better door will probably open. If you DO decide to go here or put a love one here, question everything, and make sure you MAKE them write up a CARE PLAN! Its the law that they do it within the first week, but they dont do it. So if you want your showers on a certain day or time, or your bed baths and hair washed, or, like me, needed my head shaved and beard washed, its all WRITTEN DOWN IN YOUR CARE PLAN, so they cant BS and screw around about your personal care, WHICH THEY WILL TRY TO DO! Or better yet, ask the doctor to ORDER certain things, then its pretty much law, so to speak. The DON, Tina, is rude, unprofessional, and straight up verbally abusive to the staff. Even yelling and threatening their jobs many times. I was told told incident after incident of things she had done and said to staff. And not by a few aids. I mean SEVERAL aids and techs. Almost each one! Complete abusive person which each and every staff member. Almost each one told me they hated her. If she or anyone at that hell hole ever abused my mom/grandma.etc., and I was able bodied, Id be in jail for severe assault. One of THE WORST aids I EVER HAD, Ethel, even let me lay in my own sh** for around 30 minutes THEN wanted to wait until she was done charting to clean me up. AND it was a night she was orientating a young aid! I told her I wouldnt even leave an animal like that and a few other very choice words I wont repeat. What kind of person does that??? The food is also hit and miss, and many times, on the weekend, we got chips and sandwiches on paper plates and plastic utensils. My recommendation as a quadriplegic who knows his stuff for many years... Dont go here! Or ESPECIALLY take your loved one here unless you ABSOLUTELY have to! Thanks to all of the GOOD aids who took care of me well, cared for me, and respected me. YOU, I WILL NOT FORGET.

Upon arrival I was told I only had 2 weeks to live. Tried pressuring me to sign up for Hospice..but did not. Continually trying to force my family to putting me on Hospice. After a month of continued pressure my father finally signed me up. No longer in a nice room. Taken to a dark dirty room to die. My family rescued me. Had to have my legs amputees but am very much alive.

My grandmother is a patient there and im hearing very horrifying things. She is being forced out of the bed in the morning, she is pushed around and talked mean to by the staff. Its gotten so bad im moving her out of this terrible place. all the workers are connected with the higher ups, so even if you make a complaint it gets ignored. Horrible place I hate that I have to even give this place one star seeing how it deserves to get shut DOWN!UPDATE: She has been removed from this rotten place. I cant begin to imagine how people can treat our elderly how South Hampton Place has treated my poor grandmother for so long.

I chose this Facility for my mother. I wish I would have done a bit of research myself, not just gone by the recommendation of a friend. The DON is rude and unprofessional. She didnt appreciate me asking questions about my Mothers care. Nor did another Nurse. I had to leave a few voice mails, with the House Dr. Dr Cravens in order for him to actually visit my Mother after she;d been in there a few weeks. He let her lay in pain for weeks, he would only prescribe Tylenol, for a broken arm and Pelvis.A Med tech actually brought her to tears, she acted like a Bully ,yelling at Mother because she is unable to swallow several pills at once. I have friends who are med techs they were actually APPALLED BY THIS WOMANS ACTIONS. Another tried to force unwanted pills down Mothers throat. Another Aid was behaving in an unkind and unprofessional manner and when she called him out on it, he behaved as if it was a Race issue because he is black and she is white. I wish I would have investigated this Facility first instead of just taking the word of a friend. Her Hubby was treated very well. What the difference was ,other than the Hall she was on I guess I will never know. The OT is nice enough, but I think/feel she wanted/decided ti was time for Mother to go home sooner than what I feel was the right time. The Social Worker told me the Insurance Co wouldnt pay for one more day. Even though they know she has no help at home until next week, Wednesday. I dont live in the same City she does and I have no vehicle. I still need to go and make her house a safe environment. To many trip hazards. The Home knew it would be the weekend before I could do this. But they dont care about that. Maybe they are thinking that if God forbid she has another accident , I would send Mother back to them. NOPE! I would choose someplace else. This place is short staffed, to the point that patients needs are not being met in a timely manner. My Mother was released on the the 31st, the Home Health Care Company that South Hampton claim they refereed her to, never showed up. On the second day I called and spoke with Phil who is the Director, I explained the situation and also informed him Mother was sent home with someone else s medication! Fortunately she caught the error herself, and therefore didnt take the medication. I also realize accident happen. but it has been one thing after another with this place! I am beyond fed up.

Waiting two hours for a cup of ice. Got nothing to drink with supper. As of this evening this has been the only bad run in I have had.

I did my CNA clinicals here. I didnt like it. The head nurse isnt very nice to her workers. The place has odd smells and also is very outdated.
