The older lady cashier was rude and when I was standing in front of her and obviously next in line, she looked to another lady to my left in the aisle and asked her to come over. The lady said I’m not waiting in line, so the cashier motions forMe to come over and says “ma’am I try to be fair.” I said I’m not sure why it’s fair to look at someone in an aisles and attempt to wait on them, but o…k. I place my items onto the counter and she stated the coupons that were on the product don’t work, so I can’t do anything about them not working. (Very low) She said that the coupon won’t work very low, so I repeated what I thought she said “ they don’t work “ and “she said It’s not gonna work”. ( in a curt tone) I asked “what’s not going to work, the coupon bc i don’t think I understand” “ to which she replied “well they haven’t been working, I have to tell the vendor”. I said “I’m sorry what does that mean for me as the customer, are you honoring the coupon or are you saying bc it doesn’t work you will not be able to honor the coupon?” She said “no, bc the coupon hasn’t been working at all”. I said “all of the products over there have a coupon attached to them and it is an inconvenience not to mention inconsiderate to tell the customer that you will not be able to help” her answer was well do you want it, your total is $39.xx” I asked For the manager and she began to say “she’s not “ , and I said in fact who is he ( to my left) she said oh, yeah. The gentleman comes over reads the coupon just as she should have and says she has the correct product, honor the coupon. The cashier’s retort is what took me over the top “well yeah I’ll just go snatch them off each of the things over there since none of them are working and honor it just this one time” then proceeds to pull 2.00 off the final price i said “hmm 🤔 isn’t the coupon 3.00 off ?” She said “no” i said umm please look again, and she then removed another dollar. I’m not an extreme coupon person in fact I do not clip coupons. This coupon was attached to the item and honestly for someone who was at work it seems like she did not want to do what she is hired to do … provide customer service and her job” I don’t shop at Walgreens normally but this will ensure that I will not be back(sunscreen 15.xx -3.00 coupon hat 14.88 and another hat 6.99 =36.56my time and unwarranted frustration= can’t get back and priceless

Ive come to this location for over 5 yrs now. They always stay busy but quite helpful to help the customers. Ive only experienced a couple of problems that they corrected in a timely manner. Kudos to Josh for his help.

The only thing I can say about this pharmacy,is that both the cashier and the manager are the rudest people that I have treated ,they have not idea how to deal with customers especially if they are Hispanic .I do not give a star o recommend it to anyone .every person should be treated with dignity regardless of race.

We came here for hair care product advertised on Walgreens website. The price in store was higher. Usually they will honor the online price but this store would not. We were very surprised at the attitude of management and employee of this location. They were smug and quite satisfied at our obvious shock and disbelief of the way they responded. We would have purchased several other items as well but decided since they couldnt honor the price we would shop elsewhere. We been loyal customers of Walgreens for years. CVS is usually right around the corner. This left a bad taste.

The new point system screwed me out of thats $15 in Walgreens money for my next purchases

Im only giving this place 2 stars because they have a convenient drive-thru window for their pharmacy and because they are 2 blocks away from my house. The pharmacy employee on the phone developed an attitude after I told her that she was speaking too fast on the phone and I couldnt hear her. The drive-thru is dirty and the staff have ZERO customer service skills. There are plenty of other pharmacies in the area that are willing to take my money. I do not recommend.

My mother has MS her pain prescription was supposed to be filled today she went to the Dr Wednesday!!! The pharmacy didnt want to tell us there system was down so that way her Dr would know to call it in or anything else! So my mother now has to go in pain for 4 days. Until her Drs office opens again Monday because they closed for the holiday! Even though she fills her script there every month for the past years nothing they can do to help of course!!!! This is why we didnt want everything done at Walgreens because they constantly cant do there jobs!!! A common curtousy call like cvs does our systems are down please make sure you allow your Drs to know but no they tell no-one anything and expect everyone to know!!!!

This location is terrible in regards to the Pharmacy. They constantly change my medication and are late filling it, plus are rude 100% of the time. Had to take my prescriptions elsewhere.

I went to this walgreens today looking for a few specific things and Jeffrey assisted me. He was super helpful and very willing to do more then I could ask for! A huge thanks for the great customer service!

Walgreens is usually hit or miss and this Walgreens could use a serious attitude adjustment, during the current situation with c 19 I get that you hate your job but dont take it out on good customers or this happens.. theres 5 more Walgreens and cvs b4 and on the beach, skip this one if u trust a local goggle guide. Same with the one on main street 580 shame on you wallgreens treat people as u wish to be treated

My mom likes to coupon so sometimes it can take up time at the register and usually the workers seem really unhappy and have bad attitude but this one cashier was being rude about having separate transactions when my mom has done it multiple time before, my mom does feel bad about holding up the line but it doesn’t seem okay to give the customer a bad attitude, seeing how there has been many reviews about poor attitudes they should really adjust their management

I have recently switched to the Walgreens at Court and Myrtle in Clearwater. The staff at 1801 Gulf to Bay store are miserable! The pharmacy technicians are rude. They should get some training from the store at Court and Myrtle on how to treat their paying customers with respect. Go to the store on Court Street and you will be pleasantly surprised with the modern store and very nice employees who obviously enjoy their jobs!

Love the head pharmacist there she is a wonderful person and worker. Be and everyone else was awesome . As well perfect s service.

The automated system called me everyday and I was very disappointed yesterday to go and pick up prescription but only to find out it was sent back because my insurance doesn’t cover it? Why not give a call repeatedly to tell me THAT part? Theirs got to be a better system!

This and all other Walgreens are not 24 hour stores.... the only Clearwater Walgreens thats 24 hours is on Clearwater Beach. I needed cough medicine and they told me they couldnt help me! and that i should just go to a hospital to get it. it was 10pm at night and it was cold i was helpless and i had walked 2 miles to this store!

Absolutely useless! The on duty nurse/ medical person should not be permitted to give any medical advice or diagnosis! A 5 year would of been more helpful!!!! Giving 1 star is not even worthy.. drive away .. do not stop 🛑

Great experience. I had a flight leaving in the morning and the staff worked hard to make sure my prescription was ready the night before, even dealing with insurance problems for me and processing the prescription right on time. Great staff in a pinch, thanks a lot!

Can yall just fire the whole staff and rehire new people? Every time I come into that store the staff is just unbelievably rude. Im always watched from the time I step foot in the door until i get to the register. Store full of people! Ive even had had an employee follow me around the store on TWO occasions to see if I was stealing. Come to the register the employee size me up and down trying to make sure I didnt steal anything. Up until now, I just ignored the rudeness because this is the closest walgreens but the employees that work here are old, ignorant and very rude. I will NEVER come to this store again!

If zero stars were an option, that is what I would give. The Pharmacy and personnel behind the counter are absolutely horrible. They have no idea what they are doing and wont hesitate to take your money instead of billing insurance like they should. They will then continue to deny their mistakes even when insurance has proven their wrongdoings. Ive asked them multiple times to fix the problem and even taken the issues up with corporate, but they refuse and keep giving me one lie after another. Safe to say that after 25+ plus years of having them handle my familys medical needs, I am NEVER walking back into that store. Spare yourself the frustration and go elsewhere to true pharmacy professionals!

My family has been using Walgreens on Gulf to Bay, Clearwater, for at least 20 yrs if not longer. The pharmacists are very informed, extremely helpful with medication questions & always go above and beyond in every way. In fact, theyve called me on different occasions to explain my meds. We actually get a real humans voice when calling. And, for general shopping, the employees are just as helpful.......always asking if they can be of help. I definitely recommend this particular store but I would think the other local Walgreens would be as efficient.

This is the Walgreens we use for our meds. What makes this location very different is the two pharmacists, Lourdes & Tom. I value their opinion about the meds I’m being prescribed and they are generous with their time and advice. I’ve lived in Atlanta, Phoenix and Clearwater. This is the best pharmacy I’ve ever used.

This location is okay if you happen to get a friendly employee, but it’s unlikely. On several occasions I’ve encountered one of their employees standing near the front door smoking a cigarette. Walking through a cloud of smoke to enter the store is not pleasant. It would be nice if they had to go out back or somewhere away from the entrance. If you need assistance at the photo center be prepared to wait. Walgreens now accepts FedEx packages for drop off at the photo counter which should be convenient. Getting someone to come over and simply accept the package usually requires at least five minutes of standing and waiting. In general the staff is not very pleasant both at the pharmacy and at the checkouts up front. The last thing anyone wants to deal with when they’re sick and trying to pick up medicine is unfriendly staff.

A nurse practitioner at gulf to bay walgreens cost Carmen King her life by miss diagnosis of h porier gave her antibiotics to treating cancer she died January 6 at bay county hospital these bandaid shops should be shut down ther refuse to release her,records all the paperwork to release her records have,been sent to them by her daughter dr Keith micholds at prattville along,with Carmen sending her ok to get the records while she was living they did not send them, they do a great job of covering up their mistahes that cost people their lives. She could be here if she was treated for cancer!

Diagnosis with h priori August 2016 took antibdiotics for the h priori that was a bacteria infection up until last portion of December 2017 I had a ct scan done at bay county hospital in panama city she was ate up with cancer she died january 6 in bay county hospital if she was treated for cancer the all the time instead of h priori she would be here with me they refuse to releace her medical records gave them all the things they asked for power of attorney death certificate ect. They are hiding the medical records

The male pharmacist was rude and condescending! I think the old saying, its not what you say but how you say it would apply to this guy. Id prefer to not have an experience like this again and will not be back. If I could give this pharmacist a zero, I would.

The walgreens store is fine and reps are pleasant. The pharmacy staff is rude and act so impatient with any question asked. They like to argue and act aggressively when dealing with customers. I had come in for years filling my scripts . I dont get many but I have a serious operation next week and needed some prescription s filled. My husband had the day off and he attempted to drop them off. The blond tech at the cashier treated my husband with such impatience that it was disgusting. The only could fill half what I needed and asked if he should go somewhere else to fill them all. Any questions asked where either sneered at him or barely aknowledged. My husband was embarrased and walked out and straight to Wal-Mart foods /RX and was treated with respect and happily assisted. Another customer from walgreens. We spend lots of money in the store and its a shame to be treated so poorly.

Worst walgreens every. Do not go here. Even after my doctor called and approved the medicine I was having filled for my husband, the pharmacist still would not fill prescription. And the pharmacist, he was the most rudest person. He is the worst pharmacist I have ever met, and in the wrong profession. Im am also calling corporate office on him, no way to treat a human.

Friendly and helpful staff and clean store.

Pharmacy is disorganized and gives misinformation. Received automated call that rx was ready on thursday. Was filled at wrong store. Was told they could have it transferred or I could go pick up. During pick up on Friday was told it was out of stock. When pushed and said I got call that said was ready they asked another person and they said shipment doesnt come in till 2. then when insisted it should have been ready day before and recieved call that it was ready pharmacist got involved they found it but had to fill it while I waited. Then gave me wrong form of medication without supplies to administer it, had to open and ask for it otherwise would have gotten home and not been able to take. Whole time no one seemed to know what they were doing. Will not be coming back. :( switching to publix.

Horrible been going to Walgreens for many years in WA state when I moved here in 2012 I basically was profiled by a pharm Tech he told me that I didnt fit there profile guess I wasnt white enough maybe the way I was dressed idk had no clue I had neck fusion surgery done and they didnt care about that. Would not go ever again THAT GOES FOR ANY WALGREENS!
