Today I had a procedure done at Alfa Surgery Center, referred by Kaiser- My appointment was at 8:45, we arrived at 8:15- Communication was excellent. I was done by 9:30-I couldn’t be more impressed by ASC-I was somewhat hesitant based on all the negative feedback regarding the schedule and appointment delays; however, my experience was totally the opposite. Staff was fantastic, professional and efficient-Regarding all the negative feedback, I can’t help but wonder if perhaps specifically because it’s a medical procedure, which isn’t enjoyable to start with, that perhaps the people with a positive experience simply don’t post, after all who wants to brag about a colonoscopy- Thank you Alfa Surgery Center.

Im surprised others had a bad experience at this place my whole procedure was done within 2 hours and I was a first time oatient.they are super fast everything looked nice and clean and the staff was really nice. The whole process was very professional

3+ hour wait time. This isn’t an ER. It’s not a hospital. They should be able to schedule better than this. Don’t use this place or any doctor that sends you here.

Such a great experience! I was so nervous and had absolutely no reason to be, everyone was so kind and my entire experience was quick and painless. There was so much information given before and after the surgery! I never had any questions, and all my concerns were addressed quickly and professionally.

Very terrible. Schedule through choice VA program. Was Scheduled through VA appointment for a 0700 was told to arrive early. theres nobody here to open for appointment. No sign in, door is locked, no persons there to receive patients. Seems theres no point to arrive early because theres nobody here.

Clearly they don’t value your time or could care less. Gave us a 1:30 appointment and my mom was not seen until 3:00. When I told the front desk we have been waiting for an hour and a half they just told me they don’t give out appointments and that it is considered a show time even though the instructions clearly state to show up 15-20 mins prior to your appointment.Communication goes a long way when you keep someone in a waiting room for that long. Employees can communicate that they are very busy and running behind and it is more effective than oh well this is just the way it is. Medical care seems to get worse everyday. Alfa Surgery Center seems to wear their shortcomings like a badge of honor with no apparent attempt of improving patient care or processes.

DO NOT GO HERE. Had to cancel and reschedule and because i didnt do it with a 3 day advance they are now charging me $100 dollars when i cant even afford a bottle of water atm, i called on friday and actually gave them 3 days notice but since theyre not open on weekends, those dont count. Theyre theives. Plain and simple. They dont want to see you and they dont care.... Which by the way, the whole reason i was calling to reschedule was because i had concerns and more questions about the procedure. Concerns they clearly never wanted to care about.

Terrible. Whats the point of giving someone an appointment time when you wont see them until 2 1/2 hours later. You cant starve someone for a day and a half for a colonoscopy, then have them wait around for hours while in pain, letting ppl with later appointment times in first. The women working at the front desk chatter loudly the entire time, and tell everyone the exact same estimated wait time (2-4 hours). I had to drive back immediately after getting home because no one had felt the need to inform us that I, as the driver, would have to be present before they can administer the anesthesia because we had now become the last appointment of the day. The appointment was at 12 and they close at 5 or 6. Horrible experience if you have feelings and value your time. There is air conditioning and a bathroom in the waiting room

The surgery was much shorter than anticipated! We were in and out within an hour. Staff was very friendly.

I am outside of the office and no one is here to open it. It is 1:20 pm and they dont even have a sign or something to tell their patients if they are gone for the day or taking lunch. It is very disrespectful.

They have always accurate with my dignosis
