Great team. Excellent service. Professional. The Doctor was excellent and answered all of my questions. Sales Associate Kiara S. was especially friendly, helpful and professional. I will return next year because of the service, but especially because of Kiara.

I keep coming back because the staff here is ALWAYS amazing! They are prompt, polite, and always VERY professional. They are also very knowledgeable answer every question I ask or direct me where I can find information. I was able to get an appointment for my son within a couple days of calling and the appointment always flows easily and quickly.

Eye Exam experience was great as normal, with Dr. Koo. No issues. However, when it came time to discuss frames chosen and lens, we felt rushed- we were only presented with one choice of lens, the Oakley lens. When asked about the in-house lens, we were told Well, we can only send out to Oakley to be made. Normally, with past visits, as well as another appointment I had later in the day, we are presented with lens options for cost comparison purposes. Not this time. I had to inform the person I was working with that they do have other lenses. In addition, we were not presented with all features available neither. I was not given a Lenscrafters envelope with prescription and receipts like in the past, just handed to me separately. It definitely was not like past experiences we have had at this store, which is why we keep coming back every year. Not completely bad experience, just not treated the same as in the past.

The eye exam itself was wonderful, and I thought Dr Tran was really compassionate and competent—but I was charged for surprise items at the very end, even though I had specifically asked for a list of charges to expect before I made the appointment. The manager seemed unempathetic when I shared my surprise at the charges, and gave off a really unfortunate “whatever, too bad” vibe. I will have to redo my eye exam with another doctor and purchase from them instead, which is inconvenient and sad, given that I’ve been coming to this LensCrafters for many years.

I went in to buy contacts, but since I’ve never been here before I had to do an eye exam/contact fitting. I wasn’t really expecting to do that, but they took me in right away and I was in and out in less than 45 mins. The doctor was really nice and found the best pair of contacts I’ve ever tried on. (all other pairs I’ve used before always felt like a lash was stuck in me eye) idk if the service will always be this quick/great considering it’s my first time there, but I’ll for sure be coming back when need be

Everyone was so nice from the sweet girl who did my tests for me to Dr. Anita who was so kind and patient and helped me figure out new lenses!! And big thank you to Marina who helped me with my frames! I’m very happy here and looking forward to coming back!

Thorough exam. Explained the retinal scan findings in detail. The optical staff was kind and great with showing all options.

They accommodated my family of 4 to have all our annual exams one right after the other and they were specifically kind and caring with my 7-year-old who was being watched by his older siblings when I was getting my exam. Great customer service by the entire staff.

I went here for exams for my wife and two daughters. While the staff was professional and respectful, I felt their business practices were shady. For my military brothers and sisters out there, even though their website says they accept Tricare, they DO NOT. I mentioned I had Tricare when I made the appointment and all was good. I wrote Tricare on all my initial paperwork and all was good. It wasnt until after the exams were started when they mentioned that they are out of network for Tricare and I would need to pay the $74.95 exam fee for each exam. Make sure all of your insurance expectations are square before starting because they may operate contrary to their website.

Terrible experience at this store, changes of policies on prices and insurance copays that are not followed properly and equally. When Ramiro and the Manager was confronted on 26 September of the inconsistencies and reimbursement and his response was that was a while ago. Fastforward to 11 October, when I called the store in the afternoon to request a status on my eyeglasses and why it was taking long to my surprise it was ready. No one ever called to call, text or email me at anytime to let me know the glasses were ready for pickup. This is the worst and poor customer service Ive experienced after years of going to Otay Ranch Lenscafters. Very dissatisfied.

From start to finish the customer service was amazing. Alexis was very friendly along with her fellow coworkers. Alexis especially helped me choose from multiple options for eye ware as well as educate me on the many different types of lenses and tests that can be done to assist with helping my vision. I felt like the sales person was more interested in the sale than in listening to what I wanted. Ive been going to Lens Crafters for quite a few years, but the last couple of times Ive been in there, I felt the whole experience was more about the sale than about making sure my glasses were the best they could be. Generally disappointed in the experience and, whether it was intentional or not, the shift towards focusing more on the sale than on the customers well being.

I normally hate getting my eyes checked because Drs seem to never get my prescription right and I always end up not very happy with the frames I leave with. However, this place was amazing. The Dr was really nice and very knowledgeable, and the prescription is perfect. The staff was also extremely helpful, Paris especially is amazing. She spent so much time pulling out frames and helping me pick something and was very patient with me. I loved that she was completely honest and would tell me if something didnt fit me right or didnt look good on me. She helped me get away from my same old outdated look and find something new and I couldnt be happier so I ended up leaving with a pair of sunglasses as well. My sunglasses were ready within 2 hours and my glasses only took a few days even though they tell you 10. I definitely recommend this place and will continue to go to them from now on.

I want to start off by saying the staff at the Otay Ranch location were amazing, super friendly. I believe the staffs names were Daisy, Alex, Jeremy and Dr Koo. The only reason Im giving them 4 stars is because I left there very unsure about the information given to me about my eyewear/lens benefits...it seemed way higher than it shouldve been. I looked up my own benefits on the MES website and indeed the quote given to me the previous afternoon to swap out me current lens was not correct. Overall, it was a great appointment just make sure to look up you vision benefits before your appointment.
