The entire staff is amazing and I am very pleased with the results. I have 69 yrs of bad habits and needed extensive work, including partial dentures and without dental insurance . I had been avoiding care because of the costs, but due to the initial exam where my options were explained thoroughly and without pressure I took the plunge and am immensely satisfied. I got excellent value for my hard earned money, even without insurance.dentures are hard to fit correctly and it took some time but the results are better than expected.I LOVE MY SMILE SAN DIEGO DENTAL CENTER

Great staff, and great service!! As you enter into the office you are greeted by a nice young lady who is polite and charismatic. I singed in and waited about 5 minutes before I was called back. The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable of their jobs. I went in for a routine check up and was out in a timely manner. The office manager was easygoing and very helpful. She answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable. Great place I would highly recommend.

I love this office. The dental staff are always very nice! The receptionist could be friendlier.. but Dr Molina is the best, he repaired a chipped tooth & made it look perfect! Olga is also very nice and thorough with her explanations & very detail oriented which I love. Everyone made me feel so at ease. I had a bad experience before with another well known Dental provider. That other provider had rude technicians, they were careless, and actually broke my tooth. I was skeptical about going to another dentist, but My Smile Staff have all been so kind, explain everything, and make sure that I am not in any pain before continuing. The staff also calmed me as well. They took my stressful situation, and made it comfortable. I have already recommended them to friends, and Family.

My initial consultation went extremely well!The staff was very friendly and professional!Dr. Herrera did extremely well I thought. I have a real fear of the dentist and I was in pain, with nerve damage in my teeth, I actually had a good experience the x-Ray technician took that into consideration and was very gentle, the dentist was great and explained every detail that needed to be done now, to fix my problems, he didn’t overwhelm me with other issues, I look forward to getting my teeth fixed and this pain gone! I had my doubts about returning back to this dentist office because of my last experience over three years ago. However I returned back in November 2020. I love the people at this office. They are always very pleasant. They explain everything that they are doing.The reason I didnt give a 5 star rating is because of the lab they use. The lab had to make my implants 2 times as they didnt follow the the impression. Then when they mad my bridge they didnt make it correctly twice. My dentist was not happy about that and didnt want to have to make me come back. She spent over an hour working so that it fit me correctly so I wouldnt have to come back. I believe there are very few dentists that would do that. I appreciate it very much to take all that time to make it fit. I think they need a new lab but otherwise they are a fantastic group of people there!!

Came in for my 2 year olds first dental visit. Was seen 30 minutes after our appointment- very unreasonable especially with a toddler with fear of dental and medical offices. We were finally seen and it didn’t seem like the staff knew what to do- doctor put his finger in my daughters mouth for 2 seconds and said ok she’s good... as if he was done with her exam- I stopped himAnd asked him to do a thorough exam and he did. Then I asked are you doing a cleaning, and staff looked confused. I felt like I had to ask them to do everything- instead of them telling me what they were going to do.I will not be coming back. This office was unprofessional and we had a very bad first dental visit experience.

My first visit solved problems arising from previous dentist. Liked the knowledge and understanding of Dr Herrera and also left with a good idea of my treatment options.

Staff is all really friendly and helpful. I had a lot of questions and they take time to make sure to explain things I don’t understand. It can be fast paced because the office is popular, so make sure to advocate for yourself. I never feel rushed when I have questions.

I want to give this place 10 stars I have really bad phobia against dentist. As I was walking up to open the door was feeling really nervous and ready to turn back around as soon as I entered I was Greeted by the front desk girl that was so friendly and happy made me so comfortable. As they called my name and took me to take x-rays the guy (Alan) was so friendly we crack some jokes and I went off for my exam. My exam dr Herrera went so well she made me feel so comfortable and answered all the questions. Mary The hygienist came for me and said let’s start with the la cleaning normally at this point I would’ve ran out the door but she was so nice and explain in the process that you went by this time I forgot how bad my phobia for the dentist were I got to say the staff here are so friendly respectful and knowledgeable about everything. I will return to my smile San Diego with no problem at all I actually can’t wait till my next appointment

We started coming to this dentist about two years ago after recommendations from other family members. The process they have in place seems to be very efficient and the lady to helps explain coverage is always so helpful (I wish I could remember her name). The rest of the staff is also very warm and professional, especially Mary and Amber.

Way overpriced! Olga is notorious for calculating ridiculous numbers to pay for unnecessary services. They wouldn’t do a basic cleaning because Olga said I needed a deep cleaning and root canal even though I had just a deep cleaning 6 months prior. I had no teeth pain, mind you. So I waited for my insurance to expire to find another dentist. I switched over to PPO and my new dentist said there was nothing wrong with my gums and I did NOT need a root canal, said there was absolutely no reason for Smile San Diego’s recommendation. I’m glad I waited for my insurance to expire. Someone needs to audit this place for fraudulent charges.

The staff from beginning to end are super knowledgeable and professional. Olga always has been able to give me the best pricing possible. I recommend to friends and family all the time.

The worst experience I ever had at a dental office - not being sincere about the cost. First said $75. When I came for the treatment, without seeing the dentist, I was told it is 295 extra, or 370. Terrible attitude. I would never recommend this place to anyone. There is a lot more to it. I dont want to waste my time with this HMO-type dental care.

It is unfortunate that 3 others have had bad experiences here. My family of 4, to include a 14 and 8 yr old have had good experiences here so far. Ive recommended a colleague who has also not been upset. The office is clean, theyve done a good job with the work and I feel they dont overcharge people like some of the other places weve been to.

Waaaaay overpriced!! My family has excellent insurance and it was still close to 1k for wisdom teeth removed (2). They said they would not do the extraction without sedation, absolutely ridiculous! Totally not necessary, there was nothing complex with the teeth. A numbing injection would have been just fine, but they refused. I called the next day back for my xrays to take somewhere else and they said it would be $100.Went to another dentist and it cost less than $300, no sedation needed.

I was just visiting town and decided to go with my brother to Smile San Diego in Chula Vista. He was getting an extraction done and a future implant. Ive actually needed the same procedure done for a while so I asked them about cost and such. Not only were they cheaper than most, they were actually able to get my tooth extracted that same day which is unheard of. Since I was on vacation for a couple of weeks, I was also able to get a deep cleaning the following week when I had the sutures removed. The doctors and the staff were highly professional, super friendly and I got this overall feeling that they cared about your dental health more than just trying to get you out fast and upsell you on services you dont need. Ive decided to have them be my dentist even tho I live in northern California. Who doesnt want to visit San Diego? Ive already scheduled my next trip for my implant and perio follow up. After a string of bad experiences with bad dentists, Smile San Diego really lives up to their name and makes me happy to have found them. They truly are the best and give them nothing less than 5 stars!

This is the worst office I’ve ever dealt with. From Olga to the last dentist I worked with they’re all shady people. First Olga tried over charging me even though my insurance covered everything. Then when I asked to get my refund back she tried her hardest to not give it back. So choosing to try and not use this dentist office again I tried to get my crown from them and go to another dentist office. They said no that they had to put it in. So after a while I decided to go and put it in. Well, the dr said that it might not fit and wouldn’t tell me why. I should’ve known better because when the took the temporary crown out that’s when he came in and said “yea it won’t work if you don’t install it before 4 weeks of submitting the mold”. If I would’ve known that I wouldn’t have gone back and just went to a new dentist office. The dr. tried to be rude and vague and act as i was too stupid to understand why it wouldn’t fit when he first told me about the situation. And then came in and said what he did a completely 180 of what he said after they took my temp. crown off. So screw him and screw them!Do not go here unless you want to get ripped off and screwed over!!!!!!!!!

My ex and kids all go here. They are extraordinarily and Unbelievably Rude every time weve been there. They have the most unethical and Immoral used car salesmen-type Lady pushing you very hard with overly-aggressive and totally-dishonest Sales tactics.

Some of the people, when I went here were rude. When, I asked one lady what she was going to do with my teeth, she just said very rudely to site in the chair, and kept saying that as if, I was a dog. I would not recommend going here, they treat you poorly, and thats just bad business not answer your clients questions to keep them informed of whats going on!!!!
