Everything was fine until I went in and had some light cleaning done to my teeth. I thoroughly remember the dentist applying an incredible amount of pressure to one of my teeth. It hurt severely. Ive had terrible tooth sensitivity ever since and when I went back to check it the same dentist told me there was nothing wrong. Go here for broken teeth.

I have had nothing but terrible experiences with dentists my whole life. I was very hesitant to meet a new dentist but this time I met Dr Meig and Ive been pleased 100% She got a soft touch and I should know because Im a softy when it comes to my teeth. Now, I bring the the whole family.

Dr. Meigs is a great dentist. I have been going to her for over 12 years. Professional and caring. She listens to my dental needs and helps me make the best choices for my care. Office is always clean and quiet. The entire staff is friendly and kind.

The dentist is amazing ! She only has three chairs so she can give one on one time to each person ! The ladies that check patients in are great people ! Thank you

Dr. Meigs and her staff are very professional and caring. Everyone is super friendly and always helpful. There is almost no waiting for my appointment. I have had gum problems for many years and Dr. Meigs is the first doctor to be concerned and has worked with me to address and help heal my gums. Meigs Family Dental is an awesome dentist. It is located in Rancho del Rey, not very far from Costco. They have a very friendly staff and the Doctor Ana Meigs is awesome, very patient, and has full command of her discipline. If you are a little apprehensive about going to the dentist, dont worry she will make you feel so comfortable you wouldnt realize you are in a dental office. To be honest I wouldnt give them any stars! I went in September 25, 2017 for fillings. I walked out of there a some pain, but I thought it would go away. Later on that day 6 hours after the fillings, I was still numb. The next day I called to let them know I had pain and I was unable to eat on the side where they fillings were done. I was told that pain from fillings can last for months. If I know one thing is that when you get work done like a filling there is no reason why you should any pain! I went back in that Friday the 29th. And the dentist said that nothing was wrong with her work. Ok, so I wanted to give it some time. October 2, 2017 I went back in because I couldnt take the pain any more! She added more filling and said it should be fine. I left there a less pain, but it came right back as soon as I tried to eat something. I was told that there is nothing she could do for me. October 12, 2017 I went in signed and paid 25 dollars to get my X-rays and I was never called, until today November 6, 2017 that I went in to get them. After talking to my insurance and the California Dental Association they stated that after the written request for copies of YOUR X-rays they have 15 days to give them you as the patient. When I went in this morning I was told the dentist had to sign off on the request so I can get them. I asked why has it taken so long and their response was that the dentist had been so busy! Once I mentioned the dental association and my insurance they tired to hand me a piece of paper printed from the computer printer with my X-rays on it. She did that in 2 seconds, so why did it take so long really why did I have to go in for them to actually do their job?!?!? I asked for digital copies not a piece of paper. That is not worth 25 dollars nor can you do anything with that!!!

So I should be fair here.. and explain what I think was pretty disloyal. Dr. Meigs is a very nice dentist and her staff is friendly as well. The issue I had is I used her services for myself and my children for about 2yrs. I had a wonderful job, insurance coming from two different sources.. and what was not covered we were able to pay. I lost my job, everything went down hill financially, lost our home, fourced into bankruptcy in 2013. We had a balance of about $123 and she was included. As I regained employment, insurance.. I called to schedule an appointment, but was told by her billing person or front office person, whom ever answered the phone that because I included her in BK she would not see me. I explained our situation and little did she know that I was also calling to pay off the $123. I just think its rather disturbing that someone can milk my insurance company for thousands of dollars.. yet, left with a small balance, and unfortunate circumstances, with children.. you cant see us. Never a person I want to do business with again. I question Dr. Meigs moral code.
