Mel & Dr. Soto were very professional upon my first encounter with them. I was very anxious and she reassured me every step of the way of exactly what she was doing. Very diligent. A very kind and patient person. Mel is the front desk assistant and he was willing to go the extra mile with every question I had. Especially with the pandemic rolling around, its hard to find kind and considerate people, in this case, I believe it was a great experience for me.

I would not recommend dr.Sotto, this dr missed my root canal onlyDid two and almost costed me to loose my back molars. Thankfully i went to the specialist and they saved my tooth right in time. During the procedure, Her and her assistant did not do it quite well. They kept making me gag a lot and drilling way too hard. Her dental assistant kept blaming me while i felt uncomfortable in a chair for hours. Please hire professional dental assistant. This person did not look like she liked her job and kept blaming me the patient. Couldnt give me enough suction therefore i kept gagging a lot. Overall ive had a traumatic experience with this dr. She kept threatening me i have to go to the specialist making it sound so scary. Please do not go here theyre very unprofessional and made me cry. As i stood up my chair i felt very dizzy and couldnt walk. If youre not confident doing a root canal for the patient id suggest you telling them to find a different dr or a good specialist. Dont make them spend more money than they have too. I agree on everyone on these reviews she does drill very hard and does not care the comfort of the patient

I have been going to this dental office for years and love love love their service. The staff are very personal and creates a real relationship with their patients. I am usually anxious going tot the dentist, but they make the experience less stressful. I would definitely recommend this office.

Would not recommend this place at all! I came in to get a cleaning and was informed I needed a filling. This was my first filling, so I was nervous and didn’t know what to expect. I was not in pain and the cavities were very small, so it seemed simple. I was nervous and Dr. Soto was calming. However, as soon as she was done, I mentioned I had a really bad pain, she said it was normal. A few weeks go by and I am still in pain. I call and let the front desk know, and absolutely no sense of urgency. He told me he couldn’t get me in for a couple weeks. I finally get to my appointment and Dr. Soto claims she didn’t know I was in pain. She then proceeds to tell me it takes a few weeks to heal. When I told her it had been a month she got defensive. I expressed concern about an area of my tooth that didn’t hurt until after she did my filling and she token me that’s just the way my tooth was. She then proceeded to sand down that tooth and then told the hygienist to call the next patient and then walked away! Horrible place!!!!

Very fortunate to have found Dr. Sotto. Getting dental work done is not easy for me and I have a mouth full of cavities. I’ve had dentists rush the work because I’m squeamish but she did a thorough job and reshaped my teeth very well after filling the cavities. I had a cavity on my front tooth and the filling is matched so well it’s not noticeable. These are the only teeth I get and I’m so relieved to have found a dentist I trust. Thank you Dr.Sotto!

My parents are both patients in this clinic and we have a great experience since we moved here. The office itself is very new and clean! Her staff, Mel, is very personal, hands on, and professional. You will feel at home. Dr. Sotto has gentle hands. She kept them calm during a procedure and made them at ease. She did both of my parents dentures and we are very happy with the results! I can’t say enough good things about this place. Highly recommended to everyone that is looking for a dentist!

Dr Littlefield is a wonderful dentist and his staff is always courteous and friendly and makes you feel right at home. I had procedures twice on short notice but for wisdom teeth removal and he was accommodating and took care of the itinerary right away. Try getting into any doctor same day in San Diego, I dare you lol. Couldnt recommend any higher.

Hands down truly the best dentist in all of San Diego. Good and honest dentists are very hard to find here. I was so tired of all the dentist in San Diego due to the fact that they are so expensive and dont do quality work that I went to Mexico to get all my work done for over 5 years. I have great insurance thru delta dental but still was so frustrated with how much dentist offices charge and Poor customer service. That is until I found Dr. Sotto at dental expressions in eastlake. She is truly amazing she really goes above and beyond for all her customers and her office staff is the best. Mel is great and is very knowledgeable. He is a perfect example of great customer service and has a huge heart. They treat me and my son like family there. We have been going there for a couple years now and still seem to be amazed everytime we go. Dr. Sotto is great with my 6 year old. I truly would recommend this dentist to all and I do refer everyone I know to this dentist. Thank you so much for all your hard work keep it up.

DDS Sotto is very gifted in her occupation. The work she and her staff preforms is exceptional. She and all of the staff try there best to assure your comfort and work in a timely fashion, so wait time to be seen is short, or right on time. I have had multiple trips to DDS Sottos office and each visit was in my opinion fast and friendly. Mel is always friendly and polite when you enter the office and will try his best to work with you in terms of scheduling. I am very pleased with all of there hard work and will continue to see DDS Sotto for any dental needs i might have in the future.

Friendly staff, but they tend to be a little aggressive on your gums during cleanings and broke my retainer in the process due to aggressive flossing. The response from the owner clearly indicates a lack of respect for patients. It was not loose btw. She broke it by chipping away at it. They also hesitated to fix it. I had to argue with her whether or not it was even broken in the first place. She gives off this arrogant and cranky vibe. Dont expect to be treated with respect.

Just came from a dental appointment for my daughter and had the worst experience ever!! Dr. Sotto was extremely rude and very unprofessional. When i asked or her to explain the procedure, she rudely kicked me out of the room without explaining anything. She blamed my daughter for the malfunction of her equipment. Just overall a very horrible experience, never returning!!

I had an AWESOME experience as a new patient of Dr. Sotto. Even do I missed my morning appointment the front desk personnel were able to accommodate me in the afternoon schedule. The dental assistant was very friendly as well. And when I met Dr. Marites Sotto she was so delightful and very nice to me. During my cleaning I never have any pain. Dr. Sotto was very gentle. All I can say is, this is the best dental clinic ever! The doctor is really wonderful, caring  and the environment here is relaxing, plus they have the friendliest staff who are really patient to impatient person like me.
