This place is a Godsend!! Dental Assistant, Katrina is my absolute favorite. She really goes out of her way to help you get the best, most thorough service! The top notch care that Dr Thompson & Dr. Jagger provide is what will keep me loyal to this place forever. Ive never experienced such gentle & quality treatments! The front office manager, Gail is such an asset, she gives it to you straight, is really knowledgeable about insurance and truly cares as well! And I cant forget Sydnee & Carolina up front too. They have been such gems to me! I had a tremendous fear of the dentist for a very long time. Due to traumatic experiences. Thompson Center for Dentistry changed my outlook. I actually look forward to my appointments. The visit is always so pleasant and painless!

Weve been to the office twice already, and from the moment we walk in, we are greeted with a warm welcome. My daughter (6 years old) was fearful and nervous before arriving the first time; and everyone did every thing to make her feel comfortable. Came into Thompson Dental after a friend referred me to Dr. Jagger. I came in not really knowing anything about crowns or fillings, and left knowing more than I ever imagined I would! Dr. Jagger was extremely sweet, and walked me through the process and explained to me every step and task that she was going to complete - it felt as though my own mother somehow got awesome dental prowess overnight and was dealing with my cracked crown.Absolutely would recommend to anyone who wants quality dental work with complete transparency every step of the way. 5/5!

I enjoyed my first visit here. I have been in search of a dentist that will have a plan in mind and guide me and get me to my perfect smile! I’m actually excited about a dentist appointment, and I trust they’re all well trained and knowledgeable.

I broke a 30 year old crown today and a friend recommended Thompson Center for Dentistry. I was offered an immediate appointment despite having no history with the clinic. When I got there I was in an exam chair before I was even done filling in paperwork. The technician took a couple x-rays and before I knew it, I was talking to a dentist. She told me what she thought and then (without me even asking) had another dentist give a second opinion. I was leaning towards an implant, so their implant specialist came to discuss scenarios. All three of them covered pros and cons so I could make my own decisions. They also took my situation into account (Im moving in July) and talked about how they could start the process, to be completed elsewhere, or I could come back and have them finish it. Beginning with my initial phone call I was always kept up on expenses, both for the day and for future treatment options. After selecting the options that I preferred, the technician took over again, doing impressions and making a temp to fill the gap. My next follow up is already on Monday (today is Thursday). During the whole process, my comfort (lack of pain) was always attended. Every last person was friendly, professional and efficient. While I was checking out, I was handed a bag of carrots freshly picked from a garden, which I considered a perfect metaphor for Thompson. Ive only been there once, but Im confident in saying I highly recommend this clinic.

So far so good. I was able to make a same day appointment for my daughter. I was able to fill out all the paper work online a head of the appointment. Everyone was very friendly from the person answering the phone to the hygienist to the doctor. All the staff that walked by me made eye contact and smiled. The place in clean, inside and out. Lots of chairs available so that many people can be worked on all at the same time. They have a TV at the foot of each chair and in the ceiling. They let you pick what you want to watch. Plus, they can switch the TVs to show you the x-rays and pictures they take of your mouth. I would recommend and we will be going back.

The staff were great to work with. They were able to get me in very quickly, the technicians were very professional and caring too. The Doctors were great in explaining my situation and options for treatment. I am particularly impressed with Dr. Zarky. She was very concerned whether there was any pain when drilling my tooth. That made me a lot more comfortable and calm. Great job by all!

I broke a tooth and on a Sunday night (!) was able, on their website, to fill out all the new client forms and get an appointment for 1st thing Monday morning! Was warmly greeted as soon as I walked in and had only been seated about 1 minute when they called me back. Dr Thompson was wonderful—very attentive, explaining everything clearly and answering all my questions. Her manner was very caring and competent. She did an excellent job—as pain-free as you can expect! Staff was wonderful too. The building was immaculately clean and cheery. I will be getting all my dental work done at the Thompson Dental Center from now on!

I love going to Dr. Thompsons office. My teeth cleaning was professional, detailed, and my teeth feel pearly bright! I get a heath history update, an oral exam by the doctor and all in a friendly and incredible fun place! Every month the decorations change and the office is is happy place to visit. There are good things about Thompson dental center, but the negatives push me away. Ill be finding another family dental clinic.The facility is nice and clean and spacious. I dont usually have to wait long. The chairs are comfortable and they have TVs for you to watch. I don’t require those things from my dentist, but it is nice to have.I have been through orthodontics, i spent 3 years in the otho clinic. My teeth may not be perfect but they are 1000 times better than they were. In short: i am happy with my teeth. That doesn’t stop the doctor from wanting to sell me on Ortho. I could understand if she didn’t know, but she does, or should know. I made it crystal clear to her that i am happy with my teeth and don’t want anymore ortho, ever. She still trues to sell me it, EVERY SINGLE TIME.That isn’t the worst of it. I don’t have any real issues with my teeth, no pain or problems. So i go in twice a year for a cleaning. If i need a filling, then so be it. Well the doctor says i need 8 fillings. I was shocked and asked if she was sure, she said yes. So i ask her to put together a treatment plan and send it to me. The total price out of my pocket is almost $2,000. Whaaaaat!?!? Keep in min i have two insurance plans, one of them is a more expensive high plan. And she wants to charge me 2 grand over all that. Not to mention i am suspicious that shes saying i need 8 fillings.So i go to another dentist and have him evaluate my teeth. No fillings needed, just a good cleaning. I asked if he was sure and he ribbed me and asked if i was calling “bullshit” on him. Basically i said and laughed. He brought the head dentist over, didn’t give him and info besides the X-rays and asked him to give me another exam. The second dentist examined me and proclaimed that i just needed a cleaning.Suspicions confirmed! Thompson is no longer our family dental clinic.

Very friendly staff and assistants that handle the cleanings. The doctors there are awesome and very professional. Dr. Thompson worked after hours on my teeth when I had an emergency after a frisbee accident and she stayed at the office for me until it was fixed. They really treat you like family. Cassandra was a great assistant my last visit, very friendly and professional.

I got referred to Thompson Center for Dentistry from a close family friend, and I can’t believe I haven’t heard of them before!Let me start with the location – the office is really close to the 805, right off Telegraph, so I was able to get there super easily after work. After scheduling an appointment with Gail (who was awesome and super accommodating for my slight lateness), I was able to see Dr. Thompson for a very, very thorough examination. I wanted to see if I should get Invisalign, and was extremely surprised by how thorough Dr. Thompson was in explaining to me the process. After the scans, she explained every step that would be required, and gave me a really good understanding of what I was to expect.I highly recommend Dr. Thompson – the staff were very nice and accommodating, and Dr. Thompson really knows her stuff. 5/5 would return again, and will be soon for my Invisalign!

Thompson Center for Dentistry is the best place to receive care for all your dental needs. The employees here treat you like family! Right when you enter, you are greeted with a smile and such amazing, professional and friendly staff. The office manager Gayle Lee is the absolute best!! She is a miracle worker! She was so kind to fit me into their tight schedule at the very last minute so that I could take advantage of my insurance benefits before the end of the year. She is so professional and extremely knowledgeable about insurance coverage and able to ensure that you are maximizing the most coverage possible. The dental hygienist, Diana is excellent!! She is top notch!! She was so thorough and gentle. And even took the time to manually educate me on better flossing techniques. Afterwards, My teeth never felt so clean! Also, Gina the dental assistant and Dr. Lindsey were awesome! I arrived to my appointment stressed out and had some anxiety prior to my dental exam/procedure...And they really took the time to listen to me and calm my nerves. Afterwards, I felt so much better. Better than a therapy session. The staff here is truly the best in the business!!

Love my dentist and hygienist. Of all my experiences, Ive never felt uncomfortable or undue discomfort. They are always on time, personable, friendly, communicative, and professional. I love this place much I make a 500 mile commute to see them regularly. I consider my appointments with them closer along the lines of a spa treatment than a feared dental appointment. Highly recommended!Oh and they have 2 TVs, one in front and one on the ceiling above you.

Dr. Thompson was incredible! My dad had a crown break on his back tooth. He lives in Carmel Valley (North County). He tried calling several dentists nearby and none were available to see him that day. A friend suggested trying Dr. Thompsons office. We called and were able to get an appointment within hours!The office is very conveniently located right off of Telegraph way. The building was beautiful and the space was huge. The office looked very clean and well decorated. It was inviting and made us feel comfortable. We were greeted warmly and brought back to the exam area right away. The assistant helped take all the necessary information and X-rays to make sure the tooth wasnt broken and there was no decay. Shortly after, Dr. Thompson came in and did a detailed examination. She went over everything including my fathers hygiene, diet, grinding, and other dental concerns she could see immediately. I was so impressed with her knowledge and the amount of time she spent talking with us. She explained why the crown had come off, discussed the treatment options, and allowed us to pick the best plan moving forward. We decided to put the crown back in place for now until further treatment plans can be followed. She thoroughly cleaned and prepared the tooth, cemented it on, and spent a considerable amount of time cleaning the area, checking his bite, and making sure it flossed well. She spent so much time with us and never rushed us. I was so impressed with her patience, consideration, and knowledge as a dentist. She made my dad feel extremely comfortable.We felt like she had my dads best interests at heart and took great care of us. Making sure to listen to his concerns, help identify problems and give multiple solutions. It was a very rewarding dental experience. When we left, I asked my dad if he liked this office and he said he absolutely wants to go back there for his future care. The drive is worth it! I highly recommend Dr. Thompson and the Thompson Center or Dentistry if you are looking for a skilled dentist in San Diego!

I have more cavities than I can count and they kept me comfortable, were very reassuring and established a strong rapport with me as their patient. The staff is always super friendly and supportive and will carry you through every step of the way, with any procedure. They give thorough explanations and encourage questions...the facility is always in excellent condition...you also can watch tv during your procedures and they give you a warm blanket and pillow. Do not get blinded by their decorations. When you get hooked in there, they would rip you off. They would charge you for every single tiny thing with extremely high price. Every time you go there, they always have a plan for your teeth and every single consultation is charged and it is very expensive even though they would charge your insurance as well . They averagely charge from $120 to $180 for three to five minutes of consultation.

I have great insurance. My teeth are ok - I’ve had some work done, but nothing is falling out and I’m a healthy person.However, after a bad dental experience - I’ve avoided dental work for about 4 years. Just me - my animals, my kids and my hubby get care on the regular.Having the TV on all day is a bad habit - I see/hear these implant dental commercials constantly during daytime TV. I know I don’t want that kind of surgery, so I’ve been brave and started seeing a dentist again.As a first timer going here - I’ve ALWAYS wondered about this building/property.My apprehension about dental work - it’s not specific to a place or person. So I was open to try something new w my newfound bravery.From the front door - this place is awesome. Each person was great. They are nice and ready for people coming thru the door. Since I did ALL my paperwork online the night before, I was seated in a comfy dentist-chair without delay.If it wasn’t annoying - I would say these people are great another 4x. I don’t know their titles or assignments - each person I interacted w was professional - they told me each time they were about to work or to do whatever they were about to complete around me (from blood pressure to X-ray, needles, numbing stuff, when it might hurt more than usual- the thing dental people do).Again - I want to say these people are awesome 4 more X.I can go on but this is too long already. I hope others have good things to say about Dr Thompson too. She’s an artist- she fixed my chipped front tooth perfectly. AND - She was thoughtful and thorough when she worked w my mom - the entire office was great w my mom. (She’s a tough customer!)BRAVO! Just BRAVO.

The Thompson Center for Dentistry is top notch! They use the latest technology in Dentistry and that benefits me as a patient! They do it all. Ive been a patient for several years and have always been treated with the upmost care and gentleness.....yeah, Im a big baby when it comes to pain! Ive got to share this one story about my dentist. During a visit she ask some questions about my health; if I was sleeping well, if I had ever noticed any airflow obstructions, did I have allergies, etc. Well, to make a long story short, I had always suffered from what I thought were allergies never really being able to breathe fully out of my nose. She suggested I see an ENT specialist. I did, had surgery to correct a deviated septum and now I CAN BREATHE easily out of both nostrils. Im so happy! I would have never thought this was the cause. One other thing I must share is that I like coming into the office because they keep the grounds so beautifully gardened. Got to mention how they decorate for every holiday. Brings a smile to my face! And the staff are so helpful, understanding and kind. So, as youve read, Im quite smitten with my dentist. Are you?
