Dr. Bhayani operated on a tumor in my neck that had spread into nearby lymph glands. His surgical philosophy and the treatment plan were state of the art. As a result, the surgery was a success and I am now recovered with far fewer side effects than expected. A top-notch head and neck surgeon.

I have no idea why people are complaining.Front desk: Lady was very nice, polite, and helpful.The nurse was very patient, asked all necessary questions.Dr. Bhayahi was very nice. I just looked him up to refer him to a friend and saw the negative reviews. I did not understand them. I was diagnosed with a salivary gland stone three years ago. I was hoping to avoid surgery altogether. I researched the subject, and he was one of the only Chicago-area ENTs who could do it without an invasive surgery. He was upfront about why he could not do it in my case (stone was way too big). He was very professional, got the job done well, and did not oversell what he does. On my last appointment, he gave me solid advice on how to avoid a recurrence. Im three years post and doing well. Im not a review guy, but I felt compelled to post this, given some of the other reviews.

This is about Dr. Bhayanis patient/doctor communication & rapport, not his qualifications or expertise. I saw him on Friday morning preceding a holiday weekend. He was clearly in a hurry & did not appear interested in the growth behind my ear. I explained my concern that it felt different then my other growths caused by my lymphoma, it aches & is very uncomfortable...he nonchalantly said that if Im fine with being poked he could biopsy it.....if that would make me happy...upon reflection it occurred to me how unprofessional his attitude was & lack of medical guidance in light of my condition & anxiousness regarding this new growth on my head.

SUPERB DOCTOR / SURGEON.HE IS THE BEST IN WHAT HE DOES.HE WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT DETECTED MY HYPERTHYROIDISM.IF YOU THINK YOU HAVE SOME TYPE OF A PROBLEM.................GO SEE HIM.

Would have given zero stars if possible. He is not very concerned about patients. He was suppose to open my esophagus and all he ended up doing was put a large tear in my esophagus and made things much worse, he never fixed the problem he was supposed to fix. NEVER even followed up on how I was doing. This is just very poor bedside manner. Had to see another Doctor only to find the esophageal web is still there, but now have to stay on a liquid diet until strong enough to handle another surgery. But I can guarantee you it will not be done by him or his facility. Yes it was a holiday weekend and he seemed bothered to deal with his patient. What a shame. Then told to just wait a few weeks and see what happens. Sure could be dead in a few weeks. As I said he doesnt care about his patients, he only cares about experimenting on patients, he doesnt care about the end result. So you lose a few, thats what he probably thinks. Would NEVER recommend him to anyone.

Dr was nice to help me remove wax from my left ear during last week of my pregnancy but the only problem was incorrect billing. I took the appointment that I need help with wax removal from one ear but in the bill I was charged office visit+ wax removal from left ear+ wax removal from right ear. This is not justified for a patient getting incorrect bill for the service that was not even performed. As I have high deductible plan so I have to pay huge amount from normal wax removal from one ear. I raised concern with Northshore billing second time for th same issue
