Dr. Levis practice is excellent. His staff is so well trained and they take care of every aspect of insurance approvals, follow up, etc. I have been going there for years, unfortunately for my injuries that have caused me to go there but fortunately because they have taken such good care of me.

He is good at what he does.Dr Levi performed a total hip replacement of the left hip on me on Feb 5 and today, 17 days later Im walking with less pain and once Im healed Ill walk again without pain and without a limp , thanks to Dr Levi.Its going on 5 months since my surgery and today June 21, I feel good. I have no more pain on my left hip. But unfortunately Im developing pains on both knees. I think this issues are age related. Im going to be 61 in November, Im no longer a spring chicken. Im going to consult with Dr Levi again corcerning the pains on my knees. I dont think I need surgery yet but I would like to know what treatment options are available to me . I know Dr Levi would be able to help. Im glad to have been able to find a doctor like him.

Hes an amazing doctor and surgeon with an absolutely wonderful and supportive staff. On Feb 12th I slipped on ice, completely dislocating my left shoulder, chipping bone and tearing tendon. Since my surgery on Feb 25th Dr. Levi and his entire team have given me the utmost professional, caring treatment I couldve ever imagined. Dr Levi operated on both of my shoulders as a result of an injury at work. Workers Comp was playing their usual dirty games to interfere with my healing and send me back to work. Dr. Levi backed me up because he was concerned about my injuries, my healing process and he wanted to make sure I was able to go back to work based on his own experience, knowledge and dedication to his patients. My shoulders are very strong now and after properly healing Im able to perform my job well and Im stronger than before. Dr Gabriel Levi and all his staff are excellent. They are very professional and easy to talk with. Dr Levi just performed my hip surgery yesterday. I had been dealing with the hip pain for at least 18 months with all conservative measures tried, I decided on surgery with his help. Dr Levi is very knowledgeable and tries many other therapeutic modalities before any surgery is performed. Being a nurse and an athlete, I need functioning hips. I know I have months of therapy, but hoping for a good recovery.

Dr Gabriel Levi is an amazing doctor! I had a fallen and needed immediate knee surgery Dr Levi was immediately available, surgery was scheduled immediately, and the results are amazing! Scheduled me with PT immediately as well! Dr Levi is very knowledgeable, and I recommend him very highly! He has everything in his office from: X Ray, MRI, pain injections, PT therapy everything in one place! My knee is getting better just 3 days after surgery amazing improvement! The entire staff at the Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Center in West Rogers Park was incredibly friendly and warm. It was a very positive experience, especially after I was misdiagnosed from my previous doctor. I was very lucky that I found Dr. Gabriel Levi. He was extremely knowledgeable, explained the injury and the options for treatment in detail. He was always available to answer all my questions and concerns.Dr. Levi and his team, especially the physical therapist Yafa, have a wonderful bedside manner and they helped me make a full recovery.The office staff were very helpful and accommodating. I never had to wait for any of the appointments and physical therapy. Also, I want to give special thanks to Maria Theresa, you’re doing an outstanding job!

I usually dont do Dr reviews but, in this case, Ill make an exception because Dr. Levi is exceptional!Amazing surgeon, demeanor, people skills, follow-up...I just cant rave enough. He was the ONLY specialist I even considered to do my intricate surgery.Dr. Levis staff is just as stellar. Theyre helpful, friendly and informative and, when youre hurt and scared and anxious the supporting staff makes a huge difference.If you need a service he provides I strongly urge you to at least schedule a consultation; I highly recommend it. And be patient when you get there...hes worth the wait!

I did have to wait a bit more than an hour to be seen, but once in everything from seeing the doctor and getting x-rays went quickly. Doctor had good bedside manner .

Very competent doctor, very supportive and understanding. His support staff, however, are what made me find a different specialist. They were hard to work with and sometimes did not answer phone calls during normal business hours. The day before my last appointment, I had called to confirm and to receive the address but they had told me an incorrect address, so when I arrived it was outside of a locked Jimmy Johns. When I called the office, 5 minutes past my appointment time, the had alreadyapparently locked up and a member of their after-hours service attempted to help me. He was very friendly, however he was not even aware that the doctor had a second location that he scheduled appointments for on Wednesdays, so this was no help. I then had to make the 50 minute drive home, still in pain from my shoulder. Today, 10 minutes ago I called Dr. Levis office to have my records and MRIs sent to a different shoulder specialist. The records woman to whom I was speaking blatantly hung up on me as soon as she got the fax number, not even allowing me to finish the question that I was in the middle of asking. I normally never write reviews (honest, I swear) but this is the exception. Just horrible. I wish this wasnt the case because although the support staff is not the best, Dr. Gabriel Levi was able to diagnose my real shoulder problem when past doctors have misdiagnosed me, and I thank him for that.Update- its been about a month since I wrote this and my new doctors office has yet to receive the medical records I asked for (twice) from Dr. Levis office.

Dr. Levi is one of the best doctors Ive ever seen. He is always very patient and I really feel like he listens, and answers all my questions. I never feel rushed. I needed surgery on my knee and he was able to get me scheduled right away. Having the X-rays, MRI, and physical therapy all at the same location made everything so easy and convenient. I cant recommend him enough!

I was involved in a car accident on 12/23/19. Went to the emergency room at St Frances in Evanston and after xrays was told by the emergency room doctor to see an orthopedic specialist. I was actually riding a bicycle and hit by a car in which the driver was at fault and ticketed. An attorney has already taken my case since it is pretty cut and dry and I did offer the receptionist his number however Dr. Levy denied even seeing me without a down payment of 500 dollars. I was and am in need of medical assistance which will be paid for more than likely by State Farm, the ticketed drivers insurance company, however Dr. Levy will only see me if he receives 500 dollars. Now I’m sure many other victims like myself who don’t have health insurance visit the emergency room so my question is simple. WHY IS DR. GABRIEL LEVY PUT AT THE TOP OF THE LIST OF DOCTORS AT AN EMERGENCY ROOM WHEN HE IS CLEARLY AN OPPORTUNIST? His scam is simple, chase the ambulance to St. Frances and if the patient in need is not insured to his satisfaction he will want money up front. I’m not a big fan of Attorneys who are ambulance chasers but for a Doctor act in this manner is deplorable. I’m in no condition to visit his office but after I’ve seen a qualified Orthopedic specialist, my case is settled, and I can walk again I will go and pay him a visit and let him know to his face that I and others that are victimized by his simple greed do not appreciate his violation of the the Doctors oath. I had to give this ambulance chaser one star but he didn’t one proton.

Dr. Levi was great at helping me deal with hip issues and herniated cervical discs over the course of about two years. He was attentive, compassionate and highly effective in his treatment, which is the reason I went to him with my 2nd issue. I highly recommend Dr. Levi.

I had gone to eight different doctors/specialists before I found Dr. Levi. No one could ever give me answers as to what what causing my pain and many doctors dismissed me immediately. Dr. Levi was willing to take a chance on me and exhaust every option to solve my problem. He truly cares about his patients and will do anything he can to help. I am so grateful that I was referred to him. He is, by far, the most compassionate doctor I have ever met. No matter how long you have to wait in the waiting room, it is worth it to have a doctor that cares.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit with Dr. Levi. He did a great job explaining my bursitis and possible triggers along with having a further discussion on improving acute flares. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience where my condition was not only treated, but I learned how to help prevent more flares in the future.

Doctor and staff only care about billing you and your insurance and making sure you dont keep them past 6pm even though they post that time for booking. Asks same questions over and over, received 5 phone calls within less than 24 hours to make sure I was coming in, rushes appointment so doctor and staff can get out office of asap at EOD.Booked appointment on ZocDoc day before for 6pm appointment the next day.Next day...8:12 am Office called to confirm appointment and asked if I could come in earlier. Said no due to work and was not asked to reschedule, but 6pm confirmed and asked reason for appointment which was given.8:18 am Office called to ask for insurance info which was given.4:10 pm Office calls again, missed call.5:04 pm Office calls to confirm again, asks reason for appointment, asks for insurance info, and asks So, youll be here 6pm or earlier? All info given again and answered will be there for 6pm appointment.5:50 pm Call to say running 5 to 10 mins late due to traffic, staff puts call on hold to confer with doctor if okay with this, staff asks if I can guarantee I will be there in 10mins or less (Im less than than a mile away in a cab), staff relays questions from the doctor to try and assess on the phone, asks if prior imaging done which I answer no.6:09 pm I call as I pull up in drive way to tell them Im in the driveway. Staff answers,The doctor is about to leave so you need to get here NOW.6:10 pm Walk into office and first thing staff/nurse says to me is Were all waiting for you. Asks again for reason for visit and insurance info. Rushed through paperwork and into x-ray room.6:15 pm Nurse asks reason for visit and tells me shes going to take x-ray. Doctor walks in, asks reason for visit, and orders X rays before in-person assessment.At this point, Ive had enough, lost all confidence in doctor/staff, and tell them Ive decided not to go though with appointment just before they are about to take the x ray. Later that evening, I see that they marked me as a no show in Zoc Doc leading to my account to being locked.Sure, I was 10 mins late, but this was ridiculous!

I thought he was a very good doctor untill the day he had to do a surgery on my mom. He did not explain to her that they were doing her anesthesia via spinal cord, so when he told her she panicked a little and said no. Thats when his face changed like a monster and started talking to my mom like she was a kid and talking very loud almost yelling saying she had to do what he said when he said it and so many other stuff. I just let him finish so he could do my moms surgery with a clear head and after the surgery thats when I told him how unprofesional he reacted to my mom. She doesnt want to see him anymore. The staff at the hospital say he always has those kind of outbursts. He later apologized to me and my mom as if that was any good.

To be honest he’s a good doctor I had to ACL surgeries and I was satisfied with his work but here’s the problem you don’t want to deal with his office the people are just very not careful they just don’t care they made a huge mistake with my insurance And I am ending up paying a lot of money for his office because the mistake they did.

Dr. Levi is simply the best ortho surgeon out there. He did my grandfathers hip replacement and my grandfather has no pain and has 100% recovered. I have been a patient of Dr. Levifor years as well as several of my family members. He sucessfully replaced both of my mothers knees which improved her quality of life greaty. He fixed my wifes knee as well. He gas done wonders for my shoulder by fixing a tear and his physical therapy staff are some of the nicest and caring people you will ever meet. Great doctor surgeon and staff....Dr Levi, Gabriel was able to help me with my knee pain I suffered for 2 years. I was seen by a different ortho md and even had knee arthroscopy done and was told it was just inflammation. After dealing with the pain, swelling, locking, and stiffness I decided I need a second opinion and my friend that is a patient there referred me.... Dr was able to see i had an acl tear with another arthroscopy I just wish i could have met Dr Gabriel, Levi SOONER!
