Ive been seeing this man since December 2020 at Thorek hospital in Chicago had 3 set of x-rays and 3 sets of Mri on my wrist and shoulder. I have received one steroid shot in the shoulder in January 2021. I have been in constant pain. I come to find out I have torn ligaments, a tumor on the bone, lesion and arthritis. He gave me this information and said We will do another Mri in December I have been in pain and not able to use my wrist and shoulder without pain. I would take surgery or anything if offered. Until I asked what was my options he had no concerns or direction for my health. Very disappointing. Avoid this man and his deplorable medical treatment at all cost plz. Your bones and joints may depend upon it.

Dr. Goldflies is the best Orthopedic Surgeon on the planet, and Im not saying this because Ive known him for over 30 years and Im his favorite patient, lol😊 Simply because hes an expert in his field, and he knows how to correctly diagnose and treat any bone or joint problems you may be experiencing.Dont hesitate to consult with him, Im sure you wont regret it.

I actually seen Dr Goldflies at Thorek hospital. After being told for a year my severe knee leg and hip pain was arthritis. When i could barely walk anymore i got a referral to ortho. Mind you this was after 2 failed cortisone injections and therapy. I went to see Dr Goldflies he examined me took xrays. In the end said if you want to go through surgery to scope the knee we can. He couldnt say for certain it would help. But at least he was willing to listen when i said i know i tour something. Sure enough i tore my meniscus. After the surgery i had therapy and also had to be realigned. I have been pain free for 4 or more years. Thank you Dr. Goldflies.

Dr. G. Is the best. Thats whats important when you need a Dr. who knows what he is doing and does it WELL!

RUN dont walk away from this so clinic. I had red flag after red flag pop up during my visit there. #1 only 1 piece of paper to fill out and it was mainly just you name and address, no insurance info? #2 I had a knee issue and Dr. seen me all of 15 min on a first visit and basically was only interested on how my body aligned up. #3 He said my right leg was longer than my left and suggested I see THEIR chiropractor to adjust my pelvis and see THEIR physical therapist for my knee, why I needed either for my issue was confusing. #4 physical therapist want to schedule therapy 3 times a week for 6 weeks, my knee isnt even all that bothersome to even need any therapy let alone 6 weeks. #5 same story with the chiropractor, 2 times a week for 6 weeks only when he saw me he said my left leg was longer than my right leg. I told him the Dr. said my right leg was the longer one, he said that when Im lying down it changes?????. #6 physical therapist, chiropractor and Dr. all do their billing under Doctors name.

I first saw Dr Goldflies in the mid 90s, I could not raise my left arm much above my shoulder without pain. Its not relevant to my review but Im sure it was from lifting weights too often. Goldflies quickly and more important accurately determined it was from bursitis in the shoulder area and gave me an injection of a steroid, I remember him saying I will give you one and only one because it can have some detrimental effects if you get it too much. After suffering in pain for months within the pain completely resolved with in a few days and I have never had an issue with it since.Go forward 10 years, some how I ended up with pain so intense in my back and hip area I could really barely walk for the first time in my life.I returned to Dr. Goldflies he did an exam had an x ray taken right there and immediately saw my hip had somehow gotten very out of alignment. and had a Chiropractor in the office adjust me. At first I was skeptical as to how the extreme pain could be from being out of alignment I thought it had to be more than that. Well after the initial quick adjustment I felt better actually immediately. I went back for a few more and was totally pain free.Go forward to 2015 Ill never know for sure if it was simple wear and tear, from a bad car accident or my job but had hip and back pain that just would not go away I skipped the general dr. because I could just feel it was more than regular muscle strain and went directly to Goldflies .It turns out I have some moderate lumbar disc bulges along with ligament thickening resulting in moderate to severe nerve impingement I wont bore you with the details but I immediately thought I would need and actually wanted surgery it was that bad. Quote from the Dr. most people that get surgery in that area for this end the same or possibly worse anytime a surgeon says that I know I can trust that Dr. following his advice I did get slowly better and was VERY thankful to so far avoid or at least postpone surgery. Even with some minor and a major set back recently I still view it that way especially after reading and hearing some stories of people after surgery.Overall I have 100% confidence in Dr. Goldflies. I absolutely believe this is a man NOT motivated by money NOT quick to push drugs has an overall conservative approach and which is generally wisest. THIS IS ONE DR. I AM CERTAIN THAT BENEATH HIS AT TIMES STEELY DEMEANOR IS ABSOLUTELY GUIDED BY DECADES OF EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE AND A GOOD HEART. I recall chatting to a guy in the waiting room who I could tell from his look did manual labor. The guy confirmed he was a carpenter and said he travelled 30 miles just to see Goldflies, that he had been to other doctors and that Goldflies was the only one able to help him. The office staff starting with the receptionist is polite helpful and excellent......Special kudos to Maribel.

Saw Dr Goldflies after my daughter fracturrd her ankle. He was the only ortho willing to see new patients as walkins at St Anthonys Hospital. Cant thank him enough. He is so knowledgeable. He isnt the warmest doc but he knos his stuff and trains future docs.
