My family and I have been referred to see Dr. Todd Rimington for various injuries and we have been pleased with the outcome. My shoulder and lower back injuries took a very long time to heal but Dr. Rimington worked closely with my primary care physician and physical therapists, guiding me towards goals and treatments that would work for me. The assistants and staff are all kind and compassionate from the beginning to the end. Every one of them; this also includes the checking in and check out staff as well as making appointments and dealing with cancellations and rescheduling. I’m on the road to recovery and I’m extremely grate for Dr. Rimington. Plus…he has a GREAT sense of humor. For me that’s a deal breaker.

Everyone at the office from the receptionist to the Doctor shows they are concerned with your well being. They take the extra time to make everything easy for you. Dr Rimington treats you like you are his main priority, not rushed, explains options and what he thinks is best. Excellent Doctor. Excellent Surgeon.

Overall, Dr. Rimington is excellent, clear in his communication and instructions, and clearly cares about his patients. Like any ortho practice, the appointments have long waits and short visits and I don’t fault anyone for that as long as they provide good care for patients. My only issue was during my first visit, I was not given any written instructions for care and my online summary also provided no instructions. I was dizzy throughout the appointment and the staff were aware that I wasn’t fully present or able to document instructions. Despite this one concern, I was given great care, seen same day when I first got injured, and I would return to this doctor and location at IBJI Norwood Park.

Listened tomto my problem. Explained my wrist, arm issues were and provided medicine. Provided alternative exercise when working out at the gym to alleviate worsening the issue.

Dr. Rimington was clear, courteous, and efficient. Having surgery on your hands is intimidating and he was great at answering questions and putting me at ease.

Dr. Rimington and his staff were great to work with when I was unfortunately dealing with a back injury. Dr. Rimington’s level of expertise pertaining to my injury was above the norm. He was patient during my rehabilitation period and provided helpful guidance along the way. The nurses were extremely friendly along with the secretaries. Dr. Rimington’s office is a clean and friendly environment. Parking was never an issue. I highly recommend Dr. Rimington and his staff !!!

Dr Rimington performed a surgery on my pinky and re-attached the tendon, all worked out as it was protected.The whole time before during and after the surgery Dr Rimington and the crew from the hospital always showed professionalism, care and I was always treated nice and with a smile.I hope I never need surgery on my hands again but if I do I know I can trust Dr Rimington and the staff from Northwest Orthopedics & Sports Medicine.
