The entire staff is pleasant and well experienced in their craft. Dr. Griffin is very focused while working in your mouth. Ive had issues with my teeth and shes worked well with my dentist. Ive never had pain because adjustment was too tight. Griffin Orthodontics is the place to go for braces. Excellent work and they work with you on payment plans.

Time visiting as a walk in Sept. 2013 . the entire staff was accommodating , the Establishment was clean and the Doctor was nice with humorous personality , but business Savvy , and a perfectionist at the same time . With all being I left & came back the same day I had my braces!!!! Of course I was excited!Griffin Orthodontist had been accommodating & wasn’t shy by far telling her patients what they needed to do , My visits have always been completely satisfactory all the yrs. me and my grand daughter has had several Emergencies and we’ve never had an issue getting in. My experience with Griffin Orthodontics has been absolutely wonderful. My visits are always in and out. Dr. Griffin is very professional and extremely passionate about her work. Griffin Orthodontics is great all around. I am glad that I chose to receive dental work from them. I absolutely loved my braces and how well my teeth came out. Dr. Griffin is very professional and is quick with her work. I don’t like waiting hours in a dental office but she is very fast and efficient. She takes great care of you, there’s no rough handling or anything to be afraid of. All the staff members are great and they remember you by name. The office is about a 40 minute drive for me but it’s worth the drive. I highly recommend others to give it a try.

Dr. Griffin is an AMAZING Orthodontist, who did an amazing job with my braces. She provides quality, professional service and does it all with a smile and good humor. I live in the West suburbs and made the 40 mile trip monthly - and it was all worth it. I love my new smile. I highly recommend her, you will not regret it.

Ive been calling trying to make an appointment for over days no answer.What type of dentist office doesnt answer the phone? Unprofessional! If you read all the goggle reviews it looks as if all the old patients have good things to say, But the new patients not so good. I will be taking my money somewhere else.

Dr. G and her staff are the best! The office is always spotless and welcoming and the receptionist is always so nice! For the most part, visits are in and out which is great considering the monthly appointments. Dr. G is a perfectionist, so don’t be surprised if you have to keep your braces on a little longer than expected :) but definitely worth it!

I would love to give this Black Owned Female business 5 stars but from a service perspective cannot. Ive been with them since my first daughter got braces in 2012 so Ive had a long history and one thing that is pretty difficult is the lack of office hours. Another issue, is there is responsiveness when you try to make appointments. More often than not, you have to leave a message and then wait for a call back. In my experience, its been very hard to schedule and/or adjust appointments in a timely fashion especially when exacerbated by the office hours available. Im sure my kids braces have stayed on longer than necessary due to the treatment rhythm. Its as though the she has too many clients to service with the hours she works. It would be great to have online scheduling or text scheduling to automate the process. I have a feeling it would be good for her office staff as well. The other feedback is the amount of education you get about braces. If you are a need to know details sort of person, this is likely not the place for you. Dr. Griffin is laid back (good thing) and expects you to trust her expertise (also a good thing) but as a paying client, if I want to understand the process as it relates to my specific case, I should be afforded that level of customer service.

I definitely would recommend going to Griffins Orthodontics. My teeth were terrible! I honestly didn’t think that they could be fixed. Now my smile is the main thing I get compliments on almost everyday. If you need braces I definitely recommend coming here.

Terrible experience. Put on hold for 12 minutes. Called back - literally no reason to have me on hold. Referred to the other location (which I had no problem with because I called the wrong one) but then told me if my child doesnt cooperate theyll just refer me to a specialist.So I asked what she meant because if my child is afraid he may cry, be scared etc - theres literally no way for me to gauge how hell respond 100%. So I just nixed it. If you wont have any patience with my kid why would I ever pay you.Finding another place. Huge waste of time.

Griffin Orthodontics has really took great care of my son.....just got his braces off and his teeth are just beautiful.....straight and gorgeous....they tell you step by step the treatment plan....they see you ANYTIME you have an emergency with the braces be it the brackets break or just general discomfort they will see you....love love the results thank you so much and I recommend them100% for children and adults.

I had to use my other email to stay anonymous, however I wanted to write about this place. The orthodontist is rude to staff and is rude to her clients. Consultation was rushed. Her staff are way more nicer than the actual orthodontist is. I didn’t feel valued. I just hope that this orthodontist learns that yes good work is important and she does indeed do good work, but you can’t treat people as objects and be rude to them, they’re very intelligent people too and deserve respect. It’s worse enough when you treat clients as a quick buck. Do better please.

From my 2 year experience with Griffin Orthodontics, everyone that works there is very professional. They make you feel comfortable and they move very fast. As soon as you sit in the chair you get your teeth examined and worked on. Youre literally in the chair for no more than 5-10 minutes. I highly reccomnd this place to anyone who needs a place to get their braces worked on or just get regular dentistry done.

If I could give them no star I would. I took My son in over a month ago for a consultation, in which our wait was over a hour an half with a appointment. During the consultation the Dentist was rude to my son, the staff was unorganized. They never answer the phone, if you’re looking for a unprofessional atmosphere, willing to wait hours just for an insult and they loose your Xrays. This is your spot horrible, unprofessional, unorganized, unfriendly environment 👍🏽

I contacted this place because my stepson goes here and my daughter has the same insurance. His braces were covered 100%. My husband has great insurance! I called and scheduled a consultation appointment with a young lady who took all of my information and my daughters. She stated she would email me a form to fill out before my arrival. I contacted the clinic later because I never received the email or a confirmation call. To my surprise an appointment for my 13 year old was NEVER scheduled nor was my information in the system. The employee stated she was working on something and would call me back on my cell phone that day to schedule another appointment. She never called me back. I called that day and left a message. Still no call back. I called again today and I am getting the voicemail every time I call. Note: They open until 5:00 pm. This is what happens when I try to support black business. Unprofessional.

I love me some Dr. Griffin! First of all, I found her on Yelp by typing in Black Ortho. I am always in full support of our people but the fact that this was a Black Woman was even more the reason to go see for myself! #BlackGirlMagic, That is was! Griffin Orthodontics is a very family friendly, and family oriented office. The staff is always kind and professional. I enjoy the smiles I get greeted with on every visit, the fact that Ms G knows me by name and has provided words of wisdom on several visits. This is the worst. I made an appointment 2 months prior then came time for my appointment and they didn’t have me in the system. Then got the nerve to try and schedule me for a day 2 months away. Very unprofessional how they handled the situation. Couldn’t even spell my name right.

Dr. Griffin keeps you as a patient long after your braces are taken off. She cares about your teeth more than you do.

Incompetent front desk..They dont know how to bill the insurance company and when paying a portion cash they forget the payments made..But they are polite overall..

Customer service is poor, I have never been able to get them to answer the phone when I call (during the hours open).
