So, so glad I came here! I have had tough experiences with the care providers set up by my insurance, and prepared myself for another unpleasant visit. Every staff person was kind, patient, and informative. Overall, my appointment was helpful and extremely clean. I am very happy with the care I received, and would definitely recommend Archer Eye Center to others.

I went back for the first time after new management. I was very pleased, the new doctor is friendly (female doc) and thorough with the exam and listened well. I got a recommendation for a different brand of contact lenses which I am happy about. They feel lighter and seem more comfortable. Everything about my experience was great.They removed the fish tank and I always liked to sit next to it and look at the fish swimming around.

Rudest encounter on the phone with a receptionist thus far. Will not even bother trying this place.

I recently saw Dr. Ponakala at this location and both he and his staff were fantastic! My grandma has been a paitent of Dr. Ponakala for years and loves him, were very happy to have found him again after he left Krates. I believe he has also taken over Dangles Eyecare in Palos Heights if youre looking for more places to make an appt with him. If you need to see an Ophthalmologist I highly recommend Dr. Ponakala!

Ive been seeing Dr. Rubin for years. He is a great doctor but everything else in his office has changed and Ill never go back. I called to make an appointment and was not pleased with how I was talked to. It took a month before there was an open appointment. I arrived at my appointment and waited over an hour and still wasnt seen. When I told the front desk I was not staying as it was over an hour past my appointment time I was told You should have told us you needed to be seen on time, we couldnt have tried to squeeze you in. EXCUSE ME?!?! I made an appointment for 10am, that should have been enough to be seen at 10 am, or at least close to it. I understand sometimes it gets busy and there might be a small wait. But being told youre next at 11:10 when you had a 10am appointment is UNACCEPTABLE. Never returning and neither will anyone else in my family. Complete waste of time!

Been in this office for going on 3 hours. Doctor just walks around pretending like he’s doing stuff && has patients waiting in there room. Doctor didn’t come in till I got up and said something to the girl at the desk.

Ive been to see Dr. Rubin twice now. Both he and his entire staff are amazing. Dr. Rubin takes the time to be thorough with his patients treatment and explains everything. Each time Ive left there, I felt informed and empowered to know EXACTLY what was going on concerning my eyesight. And Ive gotta give a shoutout to his entire staff. They set the mood and help make every trip comfortable and easy. Im so glad to have discovered this office. (Btw, this building has been renamed. It is now Archer Eye Care.)

I went in today and was having horrible pain in my eyes. Dr. Ruben diagnosed the issues with my eyes. Hes a great eye doctor, he explained the issue and help me resolve the iusse. I highly recommend him. He and his staff were very friendly and helpful.

Love it great people, and not a long wait! Really take time to examine.

Successful at solving problems that other eye specialists could not fix. Strongly recommended.
