Excellent service! Very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I went in for an eye exam and to order glasses and contacts. The exam was very well done, and Joanna was super helpful when picking out frames that fit my budget. Ive been wearing my new glasses for a few weeks now and am very pleased with them. Highly recommend them!

Two other people and I came here for eye examinations. I am not complaining about the doctor, the doctor was fine. The real issue are the prices of the glasses. The prices were not listed on the glasses, when we asked why, Joanna (the women at the front desk) gave us some ridiculous reason that it was related to COVID-19. The prices were not listed anywhere, nowhere! Not on the glasses, not even on a wall. Literally, the prices were not stated anywhere. We decided that the glasses there were too expensive and when we told the woman that we would look at other places for glasses, she immediately changed her tone towards us. At first she was caring, then she was cold. Either way, we did not buy our glasses at Clear View Optical, instead we went to Costco. We saved roughly $500 for three pairs of glasses and one pair of sunglasses. I definitely recommend Walmart or Costco if you want to buy good quality glasses for a good price. Also, she withheld our prescription when we told her that we would go somewhere else, giving us a lame excuse that she had to verify our insurance when she already did so before the eye examination.

Been going here since I was 13, I am now 20 and I have never had a bad experience, would totally recommend getting checked by this dr he definitely knows what he’s doing. Joanna is fantastic and she will really work with you to get you exactly what you want.

Terrible place not helpful at all. I had to call the insurance to see if it would cover my sons glasses and I also had to call to see if the glasses were in. So what’s the receptions job to sit and take care of her grandsons and a dog or whoever they are in that back room. I don’t recommend this place at all.

Great experience. Love the warm family like feeling we get when we are there. Our whole family goes to Clearview. Joanna is so helpful with frames. Everything is timely, and Covid friendly.

Terrible experience, I had to wait 2 months to receive my glasses and was told to reschedule for glasses pickup three different times and when I told them these glasses are for my son for school I get told “well their is a family emergency” with zero empathy on having to change my pickup three times and the google hours aren’t as appears because they close the office whenever they please and never answer the phone. Worst place I’ve ever been to, first and definitely last time I see this doctor.

Dr. Mark McLoughlin is superb. I have nothing to complain about their service at all, they are very accomodating and friendly.

Joanna was really helpful and great. She really made my day finding the perfect pair of glasses. Will definitely come back here next time as I am sure the service will on point👌.

I highly recommend this place to get your eyes checked and get your glasses, contacts or anything you need with vision. I’ve been coming here since 2015 and will remain here because Joanna is very helpful , professional , she does an excellent job on taking care of everything I need with my glasses never fails and is so sweet ! I absolutely love the customer service and so many selections with glasses to always choose from .Doctor is very good as well and I’m so happy I found this place. 5 STARS AND MORE!I have been back and forth with so many other eye doctors for years. And this year has been even worse with the pandemic. I was at visionworks trying to get my perception right since February.. FEBRUARY! (It’s almost October) I went through 4 different types of contacts trials and none worked. I decided to go to my childhood/family optometrist at Clear View. (The only reason I stopped going here was because I moved, but I remember getting my first pair of glasses here and never had problems) Joanna is amazing the Doctor is amazing. They really took the time to figure out exactly what I needed for my eyes. They even called to let me know when the contact order would be in, apologizing for it taking longer than expected, even ordered extra trial contacts AND another type in hopes something comes in that I can wear in the meantime! It took less than a month to get my contacts. Tried them out for a day and called Joanna to let her know they’re perfect and to place the order for a years worth of contacts. Just absolutely amazing place. They truly care about their patient. And I’ll never go anywhere else for contacts or glasses again.

Clear View Optical has been providing my vision care for the past 5 years and I am always so grateful for the great service and care provided by Joanna and her team of doctors. I have had all great experiences being treated at this location and really enjoy working with Joanna when Im needing new glasses, contacts, and eye exams! The selection of frames is unique and beautiful (I never see anyone else with the same glasses as me) and Joanna is quick to help if any issues come up. I would highly recommend receiving your eye care here!

Stay away I do not recommend this place to buy glasses, buy els where! The Doctor is a great Doctor but the lady there named Joanna is a snake trying to hustle people to by there glasses where she ups the price then gives a 30% off discount to make you think your getting a deal, then on top of that trys to sell you more add ons that I really dont need, I use glasses only for driving. Then with out my permission charges for contact lens fitting for my son, Im the one paying and he wasnt there to get contacts . Then cancels appointment because some lite snow we where having, this is Chicago get used to it already, then trys to get me in at a earlier time then I had already made so she can leave early probably. Joannas like a used car dealership trying to scam and overcharge things that you dont even need. Very disappointed in this place had higher standards about Clear View Optical, I shall not return. Be aware of the hustle there but great Doctor and very professional gentlemen , wish he could do the selling and fitting with his professionalism and manners .

Clear View Optical is the absolute best. Ive been going for years. Joanna and Dr. Mark are such special people , they are like family to me.Joanna is super friendly and extremely educated regarding the products she sells. I do not like this place. The lady withheld my sons glasses prescription when we decided to go elsewhere for frames after she tried to sell us some. Her excuse was she had to wait for the office to get paid, even after she verified we were active with our insurance and verified our benefits. She also billed my insurance company for an appointment that we never made. She comes off scammy and desperate. If I never called my insurance company to complain we would have had to wait two weeks before we seen our script. Unbelievable my son gets frequent migraines from not having glasses. It was all b*$@sh!+
