I had my eyes checked by Dr. Kevin after work on a Friday two weeks ago.Ashley Checked me in quickly and greeted me with a smile. In less than five minutes I was in front of the doctor and they performed all the exams and tests expeditiously. When it was time to get glasses I was helped by Joseph. He definitely took the attention and care was finding the best frames for my face shape which I’ve always struggled with in the past. He went the extra mile by tracking down a pair frames that were at a different location and made sure that I would have the perfect class is going into the fall season. The staff and the doctor at this location are fantastic and I would recommend them highly to anyone!

Best place ever! Dr. Michael is very comforting and is good at explaining everything. I had an eye scratch and he took care of that right away. He’s such a caring doctor with a good heart! The front desk workers are AMAZING. They have such a good attitude and are always helpful! I will definitely be using this eye place in the future.

Dr. Mike is the man. Nuff said. Not only is he personable but he is knowledgeable when it comes to yer peepers!!Not only do they have a nice selection of frames but they also house nice sunglasses as well. If they don’t have an item in stock, they’ll order for you no problem.Parking is scarce in that area but if you’re a country or suburb mouse, forget it! You’ll be overwhelmed.Viva Dr. Mike!!

Bought sun and prescription glasses for my wife and I while visiting last Logan Square last year. Once again our experience at Custom Eyes was wonderful. From the minute you step through the door, throughout the entire appointment, to check-out and follow up, everything is handled efficiently and diligently. The customer service is top notch! Joe is fabulous! He completed paperwork for my daughters school, that I only, in passing, mentioned, that I would drop off later in the week. By the time I arrived home from the appointment, the paperwork was completed and signed and in my email box!!!Dr. Kevin Pfeiffer-- I cannot say enough about how terrific he is! He took his time to explain each and every step of the appointment. He is professional, warm and understanding-- a rare gem! Dr. Pfeiffer caught a very serious issue with my daughters eyesight, something we were completely unaware of and could have later caused extreme issues. Thank you Dr. !We have been going to Custom Eyes for years and will continue to do so!

Carlos never faxed my charts to my new eye doctors office nor did he follow up as promised. Mind you this is hours later. A rude associate by the name of Rich answered the phone & said “what do you need” we emailed them to you. Here’s what I want, an associate to follow through as promised & no attitude. He made it easy for me to walk away & never return. For the record, I didn’t ask for an email, I asked the charts be faxed to my new eye doctors office! I provided all the information needed in my first phone call. I guess I can’t be mad though, when associates are making minimum wage, I should of expected to get minimum wage service. No wonder Dr. Grant left the practice... Just saying. I recommend to look elsewhere.

I couldn’t be more happy with my experience with Dr. Pfeiffer and the entire staff at Custom Eyes. Dr. Pfeiffer really took the time to understand my needs and explained everything clearly and thoroughly. I had been struggling to find a brand of contacts that were comfortable given my dry eyes. He found the perfect contacts for me and I couldn’t be happier. Their selection of frames is the best in the city and I’m really happy with the new pair that they helped me pick out. This was an excellent experience.

This place is the very best in the city. Luckily, they have multiple locations so you should be able to find one near you. I’ve had poor eyesight for years and it was always worsening *until* I’ve come here and they explained heir philosophies to me. They said, we can always make stronger lenses to help you see a bit more at each visit, but over time it’s harder on your eyes. They also urged me to wear glasses a few days a week for the longevity of my eyesight instead of my 24/7 contact lenses. Ever since I’ve seen these docs and heeded their advice, my eyes have felt & seen the best they have in the years..and I’ve been wearing glasses/contacts for 25 years. They’re very relaxed, extremely flexible, & generous. It’s an added bonus to have such knowledgeable docs, especially Dr. Sculley. You won’t be sorry if you try them.

Customer service is at top notch, they care about their customers, i was kind of late on ordering my contact lenses, since I ordered my contacts on weekends they told me it will take one week to arrive, for time being they gave me free pairs of trial lenses,

I forgot my contact lenses and had a flight the next morning. I called them on my way to Chicago and they managed to allocate a pair of trial contacts for me. I got to the store, and they found out I wasnt from the Chicago area, gave me the trials for free, and said I didnt even need to order a box from their store. Theyre so kind and honest and helpful, and Im so thankful for the kindness they showed me.

I had a great experience at Custom Eyes. The front desk staff are very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Goble is extremely personable and thorough. He does a great job listening to your concerns and taking the time to find the prescription that will give you the best possible vision. My appointment was on time, and I was in and out in about 20 minutes. Id recommend Custom Eyes to anyone.

My last contact lens tore on New Years Eve on top of the fact that I was going to go on vacation the next day so I needed to see someone ASAP. Thank God for Custom Eyes because I was in and out in 15 minutes with a new spare pair at an affordable price. Everyone was so friendly and Dr. Grant was top notch. I highly recommend this place!!

I got an appointment here for the same day and the doctor was very thorough with me. He discussed with me the fact that my prescription was slightly higher than my old one, but that he didnt want to increase it when he didnt feel I needed it.The receptionist also notified me of a rebate I could get on contacts if I purchased a certain amount of them, so that saved me money in the long run.

Ive been to the River North location but stopped at Southport for my second pair. Front staff was very helpful. Great care and attention, trendy frame styles. They also take my insurance which is a plus! I got my pair of glasses done within the week. Definitely recommend stopping by to see them at any of their locations!

Dr. Grant Goble, very thorough, very efficient, all around great eye doc - very impressed overall and felt that he was truly interested in my optical health. I was also impressed with this location as well because of folks like Joe at the front desk helped me manage some difficult time constraints and definitely achieved finding the perfect glasses. They carry some very hard to find frames, some expensive but... hey, if they are built well they will last a lot longer and save you some cash in the long run.Overall I had a very quality experience and would recommend these kind people.

Ive been getting glasses and eye exams from Custom Eyes for over 10 years. They have a great selection and very talented staff that recommend the best frames every time. Their equipment is state of the art and my exams have been very thorough. Highly recommend!

Joe was super helpful both in his guidance with my frame selection and with continued support over a few months of rx updates and nose piece adjustments. I wasn’t the easiest customer but his patience and professionalism were greatly appreciated!

GREAT:Optometrist Mike Sculley is great. Relaxed, competent, thorough. I have been going there for 2 years or so. I will definitely continue to go there.OK: The desk staff are not great. I have been given incomplete or misinformation at times. None of them seem to really enjoy being there.

After visiting Custom Eyes and seeing Dr. Goeble I had the best eye exam I have had in 30 years. I have been to numerous eye doctors in the suburbs and after seeing Dr . Goeble I can finally see like never before. He is a amazing!

The staff is very nice. I have a difficult time finding a pair of contacts that dont dry out my eyes, but the doc let me try several different brands to find the best ones.
