Loved my experience at CryoEffect! I do cryotherapy in Montreal and this place is way better then what we have in Quebec. The staff is amazing and the machine were very strong. I highly recommend CryoEffect.

CryoEffect is amazing! I went in for the Cryo Facial and left feeling rejuvenated; skin glowing and all! The service was great and the young lady who took care of me (Sandra) was very welcoming and made sure I was comfortable. I will definitely be going back for a whole body session.

Cryo is my new obsession, my legs were super sore so I did the compression recovery boots. Made a huge difference and I was able to get back to training later that day. All the staff at the Lake Street location is super friendly and knowledgeable. Sandra did my treatments and she was amazing!!!! Highly recommend, the facial, sculpt and compression boots were all great. I bought a package 👍🏻

Overall great experience! Coming in I was not too familiar with what cryotherapy was and can say after one session immediately felt the internal/external benefits. My energy levels were much higher, my sleep was better, and overall skin collagen was noticeably tighter. Another thing to note is how great the staff is. I was pretty nervous my first session and the lady talked me through the entire session so that the time flew by without me even noticing. IT can be pretty pricey but overall doing the unlimited packages will allow more for what you are paying.

I had my first experience today in both the full body freezing and the facial. The full body is only three minutes and I felt wonderful afterwards. The facial takes about 10 minutes and it really tightened my skin. I left feeling rejuvenated and will repeat both experiences for sure. I´m positive that repeat treatments will be even more beneficial that just this first one. Plus, my technician Sandra was super helpful and friendly and put me at ease through it all. Thank you team!

For anyone who runs, this is the place for recovery instead of having to do ice baths! The staff is very friendly and professional. They will distract you, so you wont even think about the cold temperature (its only 3 minutes!). Their suggestions on what treatment to do were on point. Really recommend giving it a try!!

Awesome service. They are super nice, after my marathon my friend told me he registered for the full body cryo therapy and I spontaneously joined. It was extremely cold, I think it helped because I was running another marathon the day after... kidding. But I did go for a jog, still tired but probably better than if I didn’t. Ice bath on steroids.

This was my first time here and I looooved it! The cute girl who checked me in (Eloise) was so smiley and helpful! She made me feel so comfortable for the most uncomfortable 3 minutes of my life! My experience at cryoEFFECT was great! Staff was amazing, they welcomed me to a tour and educated me on the service which to me this was a whole new experience, definitely will go back! I really like that they have over 3 locations so convenient and also very clean, modern and best service.

I was new to the Cryo world and have had several sports injuries over the years, including a recovering knee injury. Not only was the therapy itself incredible, but the facility and store were top notch. From the education, help, staff, and all the way down to the isolated treatments on my knee, it was truly life changing. Recommend this place for everyone!!

I visited this location for my first ever cryotherapy session, the day after running a half marathon. I was a little nervous that the cold temperature was going to be painful, but it was not at all . The three minutes went by very quickly, and an attendant is with you the whole time. The next day my legs were significantly less sore. The location is clean and has nice amenities like robes, socks, and slippers. I look forward to visiting again soon!

I went here using ClassPass and got a Cryofacial. I was able to do it over my lunch break which was really convenient. Everyone I encountered at this location was extremely nice and the girl who did my facial did a great job of explaining what she was going to do and what the expected results are. The facial itself lasted about 10 minutes, and it was SUPER relaxing. I could definitely see myself coming for one when I have a headache or when I need to relax. I am unsure if it was very beneficial for my skin, as I think you need multiple appointments to really see results. I will be back for more services in the future!

If you’ve never tried “cold spa” treatments before, it’s definitely worth trying! The tingling sensation you get afterwards is fun to experience, and my muscles felt loose and rejuvenated a few hours after getting in the tank. I would also highly recommend the cryo facial, it’s so relaxing I almost fell asleep!

Just finished up our first cryo session and cryo facial. Drew and Molly took great care of us, answered all our questions and made us fell welcome. The time to complete both was 15 minutes and afterwards we were both full of energy. I would recommend to any athletes out there or anyone with inflammation.

I first tried CryoEffect various times through ClassPass as I had done Whole Body cryo at another place. This was please was ideal for me as it was closer to where I live, its also nicer. The staff is super friendly, and during the sessions I was educated on how the services helped ones health and was given short demo services to see how it felt. I had never done a facial before, but I signed up for the cryo facial and did not regret it! Im a daily user at CryoEffect (mostly whole body) to recover from my workouts.

After finishing the Chicago marathon today, I went straight to the location on west lake in the loop. Did normatec and wholebody cryo. Eloise was my attendant. Im a frequent cryo user, like every 2 weeks, the customer service at this location is impeccable. And Eloise was an excellent attendant. Their equipments were all brand new. And really nice decor. Referred two of my Chicago friends to this location.

Cryoeffect on Lake Street is wonderful. I have been doing cryotherapy for about a year and a half and have gone to other places. Cryoeffect has the state of the art equipment and the friendliest most welcoming people. I have been working with Larin who is so knowledgeable, has a great personality and makes such helpful recommendations. I love cryotherapy. It is the best for healing injuries especially when there is inflammation. I have had some knee problems and the localized has really helped. The full body is great for overall health but I like that it really helps me sleep. I see myself doing this for my entire life.

Curiosity got the best of me as I walked into cryo effect. I said I had no idea what I was doing here but wanted to know more. The techs were eager to answer any questions I had and even took me on tour. I was asked by the tech if I had any time to try the cryotherapy. Usually I’m in such a hurry but was assured the treatment would be a quick process. Before I knew it I was in my cryo robe and my nerves were rising. The tech kept me calm and and said she would be right next to me the whole time.I went into the chamber and woah!! I was so shocked and cold but before I knew it the 3mins were up! The tech had talked me through the whole process and it was time to get out. I felt like I was walking on a cloud!!! I felt so great! I was ready to take on my work load at the office and then some. What an amazing and wonderful feeling. I couldn’t believe my aches and pains were gone in a matter of minutes. What a great experience! I can’t thank the crew of cryo enough. I now consider this a second home since I’m in there using all the services.

I was really looking forward to this experience. It was highly recommended, but I may have arrived on an off day. I arrived 15 minutes early and no one was at the front desk, which is not a big deal, I was early so I dont blame them for that. When it was a couple minutes before my appointment I called the number to alert them that I was there, a couple minutes later an attendant arrived and said she hoped I wasnt waiting long. She was at the front desk exactly for my appointment, so that was fine. She was very polite and made me feel at ease.I decided to try this out because my ankles and shins/legs felt very sore while competing in a walking contest, the guy I talked to on the phone said I should try the all body cryo, since it was only $5 bucks more, so I agreed instead of the localized version. Honestly, it didnt really get that cold, I remember my forearms were cold, but it just felt a little chilly. The soreness in my legs didnt change, but I did feel more relaxed afterwards, as if I just took a long shower. It released some tension.At the end of the session I was supposed to meet with the attendant at the front desk, but she wasnt there. I called out a Hello?, but I didnt get a response, I went toward the back area a little, but she wasnt there. I waited a couple minutes, but I had to leave. I learned later that my body temperature was supposed to be measured afterwards, but that didnt happen, it may have if I waited long enough, but I was instructed to get dressed and wait at the front desk, so maybe that step was skipped.In conclusion, I would give cryotherapy another shot, but I will do so at another location. I think it was supposed to be colder, there wasnt any discomfort except on my forearms, and from what Ive read about cryotherapy it should have been an experience. Overall I was a bit disappointed, and after reading some of the positive reviews at how much attention they were given I feel like I was just ushered through without any introduction or explanation of anything. I dont know why I received a different customer service experience.
