I am absolutely excited to have Northstar Healthcare, and especially Maurice Brownlee, in my life. The words that come to mind to help explain my enthusiasm are ‘competent’, ‘immediate’, and ‘kind.’ Dr. Brownlee, or Mo as he instructed me to call him, clearly understands medical care. He knew both ‘what’ he was seeing in terms of my medical needs and ‘who’ he was seeing in terms of me as a person. He knew how to talk to me. And when he wasn’t sure, he asked respectfully. I felt valuable and empowered. He and his colleagues are more than competent. And immediate. The positive outcomes were immediate—from immediately being vaccinated for several things, to immediately receiving medication that might immediately help, to immediately scheduling me for a follow up.And above all, everyone’s kindness was genuine.

I have been a patient of this great medical establishment for 17 years.I have always been treated extremely well.The whole staff have and always do go above and beyond not only for me but other patients as well.I have worked customer service my whole life and everyone at Northstar goes above what anyone would expect.Dr. Maurice Brownley really does go the extra mile for his patients as well.Exceptional place.

The office staff is wonderful as for the doctors ... the follow up is pretty bad. You have to call and ask for your lab reports and then the Dr. Gonzales just expects his patients to read them and know whats going on. I have being seeing him for 5 years now and unfortunately I feel like im very committed but the patient dr relationship is non-exsistant. My partner who died of cancer in 2015 was also a patient of dr gonzales and he never once sent his condolences even tho we went to appointments together for years and he obviously knew we were together.The sad thing is i actually always speak highly of this clinic even tho im treated poorly... untilNow!

There is no better medical clinic on the planet.. I have been going here for 5 years and have had 100% perfection each time I come for my appointments.If Doctor Berger moved to another country I would follow him for my appointments..I owe my good health and wellness to his impeccable professional treatments..And his head nurse Jackie is the most wonderful woman on the planetAnd his Head nurse Jackie is so wonderful and organized . She is a vital part of the entire office..

Dr. Gonzales saved my life. I travel from Iowa to see him. Obviously, well worth the trip! Staff is amazing.

Been with Northstar for over 12 years now and could not ask for a better practice. Doctors Berger and Gonzalez and their team are very caring and up to speed on the latest medical research. They will take the time to get to the bottom of an issue as if you were a family member of theirs. And in a way the warmth and friendliness there does make you feel like family. For anyone taking an active interest in their healthcare and well-being I would highly recommend Northstar.

Im happy to make this my stop for primary medical care. My physician is Dr. Gonzalez, a very approachable and reliable doctor. His candor is terrific, his knowledge impeccable. I am glad that I usually never have to go for more than a yearly physical, but do feel glad to have been at North Star.

New to this clinic, Dr. Gonzalez is beyond amazing. My first appointment went great he’s so easy to talk to. I drive all the way from the northwest suburbs. Highly recommended!!

Doctor Berger and Maurice Brownlee are two of the most professional and yet down to earth docs with nothing but the best interest of their patients at heart. I have been a patient here since 2005 and have since moved away from Chicago and I am here to tell you you will not find a practice like this where you are made to feel like family! So I drive over an hour just to keep this top notch professional relationship that you cannot find anywhere else in or out of chicago!

Dr. Daniel Berger is the best Dr in Chicago! Amazing service and staff! He is the only Dr. Who controlled my migraine! Oh And Walgreens is attached! Whaaa? Just so convenient. Highly recommend.

They dont follow up when they said they will you have to call them for a actually realize that they suppose to do something for someoneIts a waste of time and money.
