I’m shocked at how many reviews are so low and wouldn’t recommend Komed Holman office. I’ve been talking my children here for about 12yrs and I always get great service from the staff. Every time I arrive for appointments I try to be there 15mins before my appointment so I can register. After I’ve been registered I’m sent to my appointment. I did notice the shortage of staff when I got to the department but I just had a seat and within 15min my child’s name was called to get service. I had two appointments, that started at 9:30am I was done By 11:00am including the pharmacy and lab work. I was very satisfied!! I gave 4of5 because I do believe that the staffing turnover rate is extremely high and needs to be more stability with the doctors and nurses.

Sharing in hopes of seeing improvement for their drive-thru COVID testing in the community --I arrived at 3:50pm for the drive-thru COVID testing in a rainstorm and there was no one in the drive-thru tent. After going inside, I was told they had already wrapped up for the day, even though I had left my class in Evanston early to make it in time. I was told I needed to come back during a future lunch break (which contradicts the information/hours on their website). Given how hard it is to find quick appointments right now, and that I live less than a block away, this was disappointing.Last November, I had a seamless experience at the same location and was able to get tested easily. The results took 8 days (6 business days), but that was understandable given the number of cases at that time.

Komed has SERIOUSLY fell off!!! Me and and my kids have been coming here since they first opened up and the paint was still fresh!! The staff use to care the doctors use to stay longer. Now when you call they have it set up to where you can NEVER her thru to make an appointment 😤😡 registration has you sitting forever whenever youre able to get into the clinic, then you sit for hours waiting to be seen. You sit so long waiting that you fall asleep and they still havent called your name when you wake up!! Ive been calling for 2.5 months and I cannot get thru but, if I call the WIC Department they have no problem answering the phone and taking care of you 💯❤️ Komed just isnt a good clinic to go to anymore at all!! The pediatric Dept, Womens dept and internal medicine are the worse!!!! They stay hiring the young glammer girls who are more concerned with their phone conversations then listening to the patients when you go to their counters. I honestly dont think that when you file a complaint that management or adminstration actually do anything. Overall its DEFINITELY time for me and my kids to find a new clinic and I would never recommend anybody to go to Komed not unless its for WIC the rest of the clinic they can throw away SERIOUSLY💯😡😤🤷🏽‍♀️ If I could give no starts then I wouldnt but thats the only way to leave a review🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

I actually love this clinic have been bringing my kids since my first son was born and he’s five now. But the worst part is registration. You can be on time or early and registration is Will have you 20 to 30 mins late, what I don’t understand is how fast I get through but others don’t. It’s always quick and easy once you’re there

I was early for my appointment, but sat there 2 hours after set time. I can never get anyone on the phone to set an appointment or talk with a nurse. The pharmacy is worse. They dont open on time, not do they answer the phone. I get all of my prescription on the day I finally see a doctor, but they are filled days, weeks sometimes months apart. Just bad experiences all the way around. Would not recommend to anyone

I recommend nobody go to this place this is the worst place to go to while pregnant they practically set me up there for two and a half hours to see OBG doctor then they left me in the room with the monitor on to listen to the baby heartbeat for 30 minutes this is the worst place you can ever go see a doctor or try to see someone I really highly recommend no one go here if I can rate this is zero I would have this place is the worst

I cant get through to speak to my doctor and they lie alot about getting back in touch with you both automated and physically. I dont know what to do... Ive been taking other people blood pressure medications because no one here seems to really care about my wellbeing here at Ko Med and I really want to report this only if I knew who to report you all to. Its really ridiculous the way you all are playing with peoples lives. If you cant handle your jobs get out of the health care field... Im not speaking of all staff but they know who they are.

At first prior to attending I was very skeptical of this facility due to the poor reviews. However, I would suggest to go and give them a chance as I ended up having such a great experience. At first glance you may think this is a hospital all in one. I was very impressed with the service, clean facility, nurse and doctor services. I was seen at around 8:30am, walked in checked in with security>registration (new patient)> proceeded upstairs and waited about 5 minutes in the lobby. I was called in and saw the MA- took vitals and asked reason for visit. She was very professional and friendly and also recommended other services due to other symptoms I am experiencing. After vitals I was taken to a room where I waited 2-3 min. for the doctor to see me. Overall I had a wonderful, professional and most of all productive visit. I was able to get the prescription in the same building at their Pharmacy.From Security to Maintenance Staff the service was Excellent. I would definitely come again.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR COVID TESTING. I went 10/6 to get tested, they told me results would be back in 7-10 days. Here we are more than two weeks later and they still don’t have the results. Extremely dangerous and carelessly handled, would never recommend going here for anything.

The Staff is very friendly and professional nice clean lobby and offices. I would highly recommend any of the Near North Health Care facilities.

Rude nurses, unprofessional staff, and bad service overall. I made an appointment for a flu vaccination. The day of the appointment I paid and they didnt have the vaccination in stock and refused to return my money and told me i would need to pay for it again next time I visit for the vaccination. I strongly do not recommend this facility and I will not return.

I just set in that office from 12:30-3:00pm didn’t see the doctor! And the receptionist told me the doctor took a late lunch!!! I will never go back to this place!! I had simple bug bites!!!! This is ridiculous and they have terrible service!! Whomever the doctor was she or he had no concern for the patients.

The staff at the Komed facility is always professional and respectful. I have yet to have an unpleasant experience.

This place was a great help to me. twice I needed health care and got it a a reasonable cost for me. It is great to know there is some place you can go when you do not have health insurance.

I went to get tested/blood work two weeks ago on Thursday, the doc said Id get a letter or call to do a follow up once results came back, results came back, however no call or letter, i had to call to find out about doing a follow up. The doctors and receptionists all double talk and i dont appreciate that at all. My health is important to me therefore the doctors should take it serious too.

Wouldn’t even give them a one star the staff never do their job , sent in a request for my son records 5 days before he start school , school never receive the information now my son crying his heart out because he really wanted to start school this morning , very unprofessional, I call and the only thing the rep could do is say she will have someone to call me back.

The young workers are just plain lazy and rude. Appointments arent usually a1vailable and scheduled for a whole month + out. Registration usually takes forever then it still takes forever to be seen. Some of the staff are very friendly and will remember who you are and speak as if youre freinds. Thats the only positive thing I have to say.

Worst place ever very unprofessional staff always on there phones when you’re on time for your appointment your still sitting for an hour before you get seen and still have to sit another 20-30 minutes before the doctor come in the room. This place is very understaffed. Stay away from this place

The providers are really down to earth! They answered my questions. More over their same day access care is very convenient!!😀

We never made it past the registration desk because the lady working at booth #2 12/28/2016 @ 4pm CST was so incredibly horrible. Its possible their doctors are of better quality than this low bar theyve set at their registration desk but its clear we do not want to have anything to do with this organization.She was rude, condescending, aggressive and completely unreasonable. If you have any other options... I mean ANY other options... STAY AWAY!

Service so terrible and I also notice they delete reviews as well. The only staff that have good patient service is the ones that been there for over 15/20 years ... Some of the receptionist don’t want to work and is rude especially the young lady that was pregnant about a year ago with the aunt that works there. She was just ignorant

Waited almost a whole month for results I was told would take a week to get back. Only to find out the acid reflex my doctor diagnosed me with was a fractured rib and damaged disk in my back. Didnt seem at all concerned, insisted I continue taking heartburn medication and didnt give me any kind of information about what to do after receiving my x-ray results.

Had a appt. for 12:30. Checked in at 12:13, waited over 3hrs for doctor and counting, its now 3:28pm. Asst. Nurse was very rude. Doctor was clearly over booked. They lack organization. Computers are always shutting down or they cant log in.

By far the worst clinic Ive been to. Even if you make an appointment you will still be waiting for an hour. They will tell you to follow up for services only to get there and they cant deliver; Ive evenetried to give them the benefit of the doubt and returned for another appointment and the service was still there the same. Dont waste your time at the one on 46 and Berkeley.

I work at nearmorth and i love what i do caring for patients and providing excellent customer care.

I was there about a year ago, I dont remember the doctor name, but she sees Diabetic patients. I was very, very disappointed in her lack of respect for her patients. My glucose level, was high and I had just recently buried my husband and was telling her I had been under a lot of stress. This doctor literally started to yell at me about my high glucose level. I was appalled at her behavior and Ive never seen such a disrespectful medical professional such as she was. I would never ever go back to her again. My thoughts are to report her. I believe that because mostly blacks go and some have a lack of understanding of their patient rights the doctor thinks she is above them and they dont have sense enough to know when they are being disrespected. In September I will be using your dental service, I hope this will be a far better experience.

Though my visits have been a bit lengthy (plan on an hour to two hours), the building is fairly clean and the staff accommodating. The one star reduction is due to the need for better access to appointment scheduling in the dental office.

Some times hard to get a quick appointment, but as long as you arrive on time for your appointment...no worries

Terrible. Checked in for a walk in at 12:30 and waited 4+ hours and STILL didnt see a doctor. There were patients with appointments that were complaining about waiting 3+ hours. I eventually just got a refund. Would not recommend.

Went there for an immunization shot for work and the horrible female dog on booth 2 was the most uneducated unhelpful and condescending broad working there. If you are not a poor black degenerate person than you received absolutely no help. Unless you talk to one of the PROFESSIONAL CLINICIANS then its better. But if you have a doctor/hospital you go to, PLEASE DONT COME TO KOMED.

This place is very unprofessional all the staff is very slow and there always on there phones. If you have a scheduled appointment you will still be waiting at least 1-2 hrs before be seen by a doctor

The lab technician sticked me several times and kept apologizing her name is lachanda really loud and ghetto I dont recommend anyone to go there very unprofessional there. 10 thumbs down

Unorganized , terrible service , nurses have nasty attitudes . Doctors unprofessional, Don’t know what they doing . Appointment schedules all messed up . I will never recommend this place for adults or children .

You can never speak to a administrator or nurse. Ive been trying to get (2) refills for (3) weeks.

Don’t go to this clinic. They are so unorganized and unprofessional. Staff is loud and will hold a full conversation in front of you about their weekend. You will be expected to be there 3-4hrs . Ridiculous.

This place is clean but what good is it if they have a lousy treatment towards the patients ohhh perhaps the nurse who is in the Gynecology area has the right to mistreat the patient and say that if they are going to kill us for not making us pass quickly what kind of people have there or perhaps they did not study besides that one pays for the service nothing is free and even being free respect should be the first thing for me I would never return this place and even less to take my children even a place where respect does not exist I scoff me and did not attend me for racism thats right !!!
