I had an antagonistic response to restarting a prescription and drove myself to this ED. The staff were amazingly humane and informative. They were quick in getting me snared to IV liquids and against queasiness medications. I cant accentuate sufficient how focused on I felt. Astounding ED group!

I give the staff a 5 because Becasue all the stuff they have to deal with. One black guy making a scene because he wanted to be treated first and other patients were in critical condition and the police had to come. Another black woman with 7 little kids wanted to be treated inmediatelly without waiting for the other patients and she was insulting the staff telling them immigrant and other stuff ( this black lady thinks she is madonna and she has to go first and popping baby’s out I bet she get a lot of money in welfare). I am not going back there.

Worst hospital ever. It’s sad that I had to explain my own blood report to a few nurses and a doctor. Very much uneducated to be having the lives of others depending on them.

Save yourself the time and the money. Go somewhere else. The wait for this emergency room is always at least two hours. The front desk is generally kind and helpful, but the nursing staff doesnt communicate with the front desk. The emergency room doctor, Dr Rome, is rude to patients and will openly talk about medical history and medical problems with the staff in the general area so everyone around can hear- a direct HIPAA violation.Youll get better care and better diagnoses almost anywhere else.

Everyone was so nice. From check-in to our nurse to the doctor, everyone treated me and my friend who came along for support with kindness. If you need to go in and have doubts please just come here. Never thought I’d be writing a review for an emergency room but it’s worth it to let everyone know how great this place was for me!

I accompanied my friend to Weiss hospital ER today in the morning. Nurse Kevin was very nice and kind to my friend who was in pain. His customer service is very good. Most male nurses are more compassionate from my experience. They deal with stress better I think.

Just don’t go here if you can avoid it. The nursing staff is friendly and polite but the physicians apparently don’t want you taking an active role in your care. If you can’t handle a patient asking basic questions to ensure their care is effective, timely and wallet conscious then you don’t really care about your patients.

I really wanted to give this ER another star. Usually the care is good and the ED staff are great even when theyre getting slammed.But... then theres Sue the night shift charge nurse. Somebody please fire her for the good of everyone. She swears at, berates, denigrates, argues with, and is just all around super crappy to both ambulance crews and patients. The least professional nurse Ive ever met. I watched her scream names at an ambulance crew for bringing back a patient whos wounds opened back up while they were transporting the patient back to a nursing home saying, Why did you bring him/her back here? Cant you just do your job drive them away. We dont want them anymore. Then there was the time an ambulance crew brought back a patient with a broken leg because the patient wouldnt be able to get out of their bed at home, didnt have phone service, and lived alone (ergo the patient would have either died laying in bed or been injured trying to go to the bathroom, or to get food, or to get help.) She ripped into that crew, screaming across the ER, and in front of said patient, You stupid puny BLS ambulance drivers cant make decisions like that! Ill just call a different company and theyll take her. That crew was obviously just trying to protect that elderly patient who now looked terrified and ashamed.Shell belittle homeless patients, shell ignore EMS crews with patients, and she is loathed by every employee and EMS provider I know. Its sad that one miserable person can drag down an otherwise hardworking and high-spirited department.

Front desk lady didn’t know how to spell correctly, Sat in the waiting room for almost 4 hours waiting while she continued to come out and ask questions for things she should’ve received after taking a copy of my I.D. This is not the place to go.

Weiss Memorial Hospital, that is located at 4646 N.Marine Dr, in Chicago Illinois,is a very dangerous place.I had a horrible experience in this hospital.Medical doctors from ER are inexperienced, Unprofessional, ignorant and incompetent. These bad doctors put their patients at risk by giving them a false diagnosis.Bad nurses constantly abuse and neglect their patients.Under the Weiss Memorial Hospital treatment you will wind up dead.Stay away from this bad hospital if you want to live! This terrible hospital should be closed down. Please, close down this bad hospital before another person dies in here?
