Horrible experience! Rude! Do not trust the reviews

Both times I have seen this doctor she struck me as arrogant and rushed. The last time she brought me to tears, refusing to answer my questions about a new diagnosis of rosacea and passing me off to her resident. I notice a lot of these five star reviews are two years old. Her bedside manner must have changed dramatically. She needs an attitude check! I will not be going back.

Although my appointment was pushed back, I had a great experience with Dr Damsetter. Once she came in to see me I understood why it took a little longer for her to get to me, it was because she takes her time to listen and answer your questions. She is thorough, friendly, and made sure all of my concerns were addressed during my appointment.The entire staff was friendly and helpful as well.Look no further for your new dermatologist. You found her.

I was extremely happy with my visit to Doctor Damstetter. She spent a lot of time with me and she was very thorough. Im glad that I was able to find her.

Dr. Damstetter was great with my little girl. She spoke kindly to her and was gentle in her touch. She has a great bedside manner and explained things thoroughly. She also pin pointed what her ailment was and gave us a cream that got rid of her eczema!

Dr. Damstter is amazing! I have struggled with acne my entire life and my skin is the clearest it has ever been (going on 30 soon) . She has been the most patient dermatologist yet. The products she sells in her office are very affordable, there is never a wait and I truly feel like she reads over my file prior to seeing me.

Doctor was very nice and thorough. She gave a good explanation of what she was doing and looking for. She outlined steps I can take to remain healthy and gave product recommendations when asked.

I moved to Chicago a few years ago and always had to schedule a dermatology appointment 6 months in advance. I read reviews and decided to try Dr. Damstetter. Surprisingly I was able to make an appointment the next week. There were no long waits. She is very attentive to her patients, knowledgeable and explores each viable treatment option. I highly recommend Dr. Damstetter.

I made an appointment with Dr. Damstetter with a list of concerns I knew I wanted to discuss. My appointment felt rushed and the staff was rude. I was told that I would need to schedule another appointment to receive treatment for a routine procedure that I have received countless times at other clinics in the past. I did not feel that my treatment plan was customized or my concerns were heard. I will also be getting a second opinion as I feel I was misdiagnosed. Great facility but I will not go back.

My visit with Dr. Damstter was great. She is welcoming, soothing and professional. Her staff were pleasant and helpful. If my insurance allows, she will become my go to dermatologist.

Dr. Damstetter is rude. I have been to 3 other dermatologists and they were not experts in hair loss. I was going to her because she had hair loss listed as her expertise. Her first comment when she came in the room was about me going to 4 other doctors and how they would all say the same thing. Actually they havent that was the point in my seeing her. Also she said 20 hairs isnt a lot to lose in a day. I didnt say I was losing 20 hairs a day. I said I was losing 20 hairs in the shower. And my hairdresser had commented that I was losing a lot of hair. I didnt feel comfortable explaining this because she was so rude. I wont be going back. She made me afraid to go to the doctor.

I had a billing issue with Dr. Elizabeth Damstetter that was resolved close to 5 months after our last appointment. I was disappointed that I had to write a negative review (that has since been deleted) on social media in order to elicit a direct response to my billing concerns, when I had been calling her office multiple times. Otherwise, my actual experience with her was standard, although I did not see any improvement from the microneedling procedure.

She helped a lot with my acne.

The whole experience was very painless and professional. Highly recommended.

Met with Dr. Damstetter, very nice and seems knowledgeable. Would recommend.

I was seen almost immediately, no wait time. Her medical assistant was very friendly and Dr. Damstetter was warm and knowledgable. She tooks time to answer my questions and explain my treatment plan. I will continue seeing her.

Office wasnt too far behind schedule, staff was friendly, dr seemed in a hurry and didnt really address everything I talked about with the assistant but was friendly.
