I took my 3 year old son to Affinity Dental for his 1st ever dentist appointment. They do such a nice job accommodating children! For my appointment, they had the TV on with cartoons, toys for him, and the hygienist was super sweet! He was scared at first, but quickly came around. I have a follow up appointment for him in a few weeks. I may start going there myself. The office is very nice, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Easy to get an appointment as well! No wonder this place has such a high rating on Google.

Dr. K is the best! So knowledgeable & patient when answering questions. Affinity has several state of the art ways of dealing with teeth issues such as a 3D printer (which saved one of my teeth a few years back) & electronic scanning of teeth for crowns and dental guards, for example. Office staff is kind and helpful as well as the technicians. Shout out to Natalie! Can’t recommend enough!

Dr. Tedford has been my dentist for over 20 years, hes the best! That staff at Affinity are always very professional, courteous and helpful. I had a crown fall out recently and they were able to get me in for the repair quickly.

Long-standing customer (entire family) and always have had a great experience. Recently my 9 yo son chipped his adult front tooth. We freaked out. Dr. K and the Affinity team did a fantastic job with a quick turn. We were relieved and are very appreciative! Well done!

This is a fantastic office. The front desk staff is super nice, and I’ve never waited longer than 5 mins for my apt. The dental hygienists are very gentle, and the dentists are all very caring and professional. I feel lucky to have found this gem, and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good dentist.

Recently switched to Affinity from our long-time downtown dentist. My first appointment was back in December 2019, when a crown fell out and my old dentist could not fit me in to repair! Im a teacher and I had to proctor final exams, so my schedule was a bit tricky, but not impossible; even so, no accommodations. I called around, and other dental offices didnt want to deal with my crown because I wasnt a regular patient! But Affinity fit me in, and their service was excellent. Everybody was super competent, professional, and friendly. Just had my first cleaning there last week and will be going back for a couple of repairs. (I had been told by my old dentist that I needed a couple of crowns, but wanted a 2nd opinion at Affinity, which they explained clearly.) Dentists, hygienists, and receptionists are so skilled, also great communicators. I feel fortunate to have found such a wonderful dental office, and so nearby.

Best cleaning and dental experience I’ve had in probably 10 years, including ortho. Very clean and updated office. My dental hygienist Daniella had such a calming energy; was meticulous and easy to talk to. Daniella’s ability to clean teeth while maintaining a clean, dry client is impressive! Front office staff were helpful and greeted me immediately upon entering which is an important factor for me… we’ve all been ignored and interacted with as if we’re a bother which feels awful. Dr. Rossi was personable and took time to touch base with me and share his thoughts.10/10 recommend Affinity Dental!

I’ve been going for almost a decade. I actually just saw them for the last time as I’m moving out of state. But they are the best! Can’t say enough good.

I recently was told (by another doctor) that I needed a crown— and I was pretty nervous about it. I sought out Dr. Kavetsis for the work and to my excitement- she suggested an alternative treatment plan that didn’t require a crown— or two visits. Instead, she used a camera device (I don’t know what it’s called but it’s cool) to model out the exact size filling I needed and create it in the office the same day.

I am so glad that I discovered Affinity Dental and highly recommend their office! I had avoided visiting a dentist for many, many years and was met with a very friendly, compassionate staff who helped ease my worries and anxiety. The entire team there knows what they are doing and love doing it. In the past five months as Ive visited frequently for my treatment plan, I actually look forward to the visits.

I went in for a consultation and referral only. The front desk staff here has an infectious positive energy which you would notice the moment you enter. They can teach a master class on customer service skills to other businesses.I really liked the warm and caring nature of the hygienist.The Dentist is a nice guy, straightshooter and efficient.I am yet to take advantage of their main dental services. When I do, I will post a separate review for that.

Affinity Dental did not shame me for failing to go to a dentist for 12 years and were excellent in the quality of their care. A lot has changed on the technology end of things since I last had a check up and they seem to have the top of the line tools and methods. Dr. Rossi and Natalie had great bedside manners. I will definitely be coming back on a regularly scheduled basis.

I came to affinity for help after a cracked tooth and a bad consultation at another dentist. Everyone who works here is deeply kind and I immediately felt at ease with them. They’re also very upfront about costs, and I felt like my treatment plan was designed to get my teeth in good shape, not to make them extra money on unneeded services. Dr Rossi is wonderful and always gives me lots of information to make choices in my care. He also listens to my history and comes up with new solutions for my problems (TMJ, old retainers that bother me) instead of sending me back to things that didn’t work. He also helped me determine what’s urgent and what can wait until next year since I met my insurance maximum payout. I will recommend them endlessly to friends after this experience.

Ive been a patient here for about five years, going for cleanings, x-rays, fillings, teeth whitening, and retainer fixes. The dentist is great; shes thorough, knows what shes doing, and very personable. The front staff and hygienists are also great - they do a great job in cleaning my teeth and while they reinforce messages like flossing, they dont shame me for not doing it enough.The office is well maintained. They have TVs to watch for longer treatments (Ive not used them) and you can enjoy some aromatherapy while getting your teeth cleaned. They also offer coffee and water.Theres also free garage parking attached to the building.

Reviewing again post covid. The facility is SPOTLESS. I feel incredibly safe there. The staff is second to none. Truly every single person I’ve ever had the pleasure of interacting with there has made my day better. I love my check ups because I know I’m going to have a good day after being around their wonderful energy. Also yeah really can’t stress enough how clean and safe they are. The owner handled EVERYTHING about this pandemic the way they should have, and it shows in how much the staff loves their jobs. I’ll never go to another dentist.

Let me say first that I have very severe anxiety around anything dental, and because of this I have had some serious ongoing dental problems since childhood. I have struggled for most of my adult life with this, but after much searching I finally found Dr Tedford. And she also mentioned that she loves her job and wants to get it perfect. If youre going to do (a Cleaning), you may as well make it perfect she said! Now thats an Olympic work-ethic, surpassing all expectations; and very much appreciated by this patient. I had the Cleaning done right before Dr. Kavetsis and her Assistant, Sylvia, did a marvelous job in installing two fillings, making a major repair in a difficult spot look routine. I went in bc I had a broken tooth. The doctor told me I needed a root canal and they if I was able they could do it right then. I was and so they did. Root canals are never fun but I was glad to have Ms. Silvia and Dr. Rossi working on me bc they made sure I was taken care of from a pain perspective and also a comfort level.If you have to get dental work done this is a great place to do it.

(Post 2020) Best dentist on the Northside of Chicago!(Post Sat 4/24/2021) I was agitate today (Saturday). Ashley called me up and asked if if was alright if the office move me from my 11:30 am appointment to a 10:30 am slot. I said yes. Arrived for my 10:30 am appointment with plenty of time to spare. Had to wait 40 minutes for my dentist to come in and take a look. No consideration of what I could have been doing during those 40 minutes if I kept my appointment to 11:30 am. I was accommodating them so the office could inconvenience me.After my appointment I was directed to make a follow up appointment. Normal Ashley is pretty sweet and helpful; however, today she was curt and directed me to wait in the waiting room. After 5 minutes, I just left because I have done enough waiting on a weekend.Still the best dentist on Northside, just agitate and confused that the office was run like that today.

Amazing with children!! I bring my girls here (6 and 2.5 Yrs old) and the staff goes out of their way to make them comfortable the moment they walk through the door. Animated movies are playing during the exam and the dental hygienist and doctor have the BEST bedside manner. My girls leave remembering a fun experience and not an examination/cleaning.

It was a beautiful day on the day of my first dental appointment at Affinity and was concerned that I made a mistake to start the day at the dentist.I was greeted warmly and made to feel safe at the reception area. The technician who took the multitude of x rays was very friendly and explained every step. She continued with cleaning and polishing my teeth and was totally impressed with how gentle she was.The dentist reviewed my results and made recommendations for next steps.I left the office feeling content and I continued enjoying a beautiful day!

I have been going to Affinity Dental since 2014. I found them via Yelp. I had been so disappointed with every dentist I’d had since the age of 10. I paid out of pocket because I was stuck in a PPO until I could change to HMO the next year. It has been great all around. Dr. Kavetsis is wonderful and so is all of her team. The office is well-appointed and very, very clean. The cleanings are thorough and they are always timely. Only once did I wait about 10 minutes in six years. They also have a garage that usually has spots if the streets are full.

A crown detached itself and had to be re-cemented. Piece of cake!

Dr Lana Kavetsis is a miracle worker. I have been to many dentists and she is a perfectionist. She has transformed my smile and now Im proud to show my perfect white teeth. The office is state of the art with all the latest equipment. I drive an hour to her office because she is the best.

The teeth cleaning experience was uncomfortable and painful..they used a tool that had a high pitched loud disturbing sound.. They kept taking x-ray after x-ray, which was disturbing. I never want to go back here again!

I love this place! Dentists can typically be pushy, and they give you the sense they are just trying to get you to do everything under the sun to make more money. But that’s not all dentists, and it’s certainly not the ones in this office. Affinity Dental has kind, caring people who make me feel like they legitimately just want to take care of my oral health. When it came to Invisalign or wisdom teeth removal, they gave me the facts, and they gave me the facts as they were. With the wisdom teeth, they said unless I am in pain or my mouth health is suffering, they don’t recommend it due to my age. For the Invisalign, they told me I didn’t have to do it, but they told me the new touch points of my teeth pattern would continue to get worse due to my overbite, but it’s expensive, and they understand if I didn’t want to necessarily do something that wasn’t detrimental to my oral health. (I still have my wisdom teeth, but I eventually did the Invisalign once it was financially feasible for me.) All in all, they care, and it shows. All staff I have interacted with have been knowledgeable and helpful. Everyone is so friendly and nice, and it’s a minority-owned business, which I happily support. Thank you Affinity Dental for being true proponents of oral healthcare!

My dental hygienist was super thorough. The dentist went tooth by tooth, again very professional. She was able to help take off this glue from a permanent retainer from the back of my teeth which completely corrected my bite! Highly recommend!!

I had a diagnostic meeting today where Tiffany, the hygienist took great pains to explain all the xrays, the work I need to get done and what to expect. I appreciate that very much.

Ive been meaning to write this review for two years. There are probably 46 dentist offices in Northcenter and 100% I will always choose Affinity. My dental hygienist, Natalie, is so welcoming, and genuine and tells me everything I need to know about dental health without sounding like she is scolding me. I probably outstayed my welcome but I felt so comfortable with her and Dr. Tedford and the rest of the staff. Ive only had my cat to talk to for the last 6 months this was SO refreshing. Ive already booked my Invisalign appointment to come back in two weeks and excited to see what these adult braces can do to my crooked smile!

Have had a great experience here for myself and my 2 kids. They are super friendly with the little ones and have toys in the waiting room and they give out little goodies at the end. My kids love coming to the dentist! I completed Invisalign with Dr. K and am overall really happy with my results. The hygienists are all super friendly and they even gave me a $5 Starbucks gift card one day when they were behind schedule and the wait was a little longer. Definitely recommend!

This is my one of my favorite dental offices ever! The office is modern, clean and conveniently located. Staff is professional and very friendly and I think this really helps to put you at ease if you have Dentaphobia. I almost look forward to my visits now. No kidding. I certainly dont dread them like I used to at some other offices. Equipment and techniques are state-of-the-art and you will no longer dread cleanings - trust me.I give them four stars only because I havent yet had any procedures beyond cleanings but based on my experience I trust they will also be great with fillings, etc.

Very clean! Friendly staff...they took my coat upon arrival, the hygienist used a fresh tube of chapstick on me during the procedure that smelled like lavender and they give it to you as a parting gift. The dental work was quick, easy, and painless. I had a terrific experience when I want looking forward to going to the dentist at all. Who ever does look forward to it?
