I have always been VERY afraid of going to the dentist, but since going to Aria Dental I am now only mildly apprehensive. The dentists at Aria are personable, kind, patient and very adept at putting you at ease. The dental assistants and the front desk are very pleasant. I have to give a shout out to Ivan for always working with me to make sure I get appointments that work with my schedule. I highly recommend Aria Dental.

I had a feeling the cleaning wasnt thorough because it was way too quick, and I was correct. I found a new dentist who told me my teeth shouldve been much better given the time elapsed. Also, the Aria dentist told me I probably needed at least one filling, and needed two old fillings replaced. I had to go to my new dentist to find out that those replacements that Aria recommended were only cosmetic (theyre silver) and theres no need to drill into your teeth to replace perfectly effective fillings, AND I didnt have any cavities. In addition, I sat in the chair and waited 45 minutes for the hygienist to begin. Then, once I finally met the dentist in the end she was incredibly rude, cold and impatient.

When I visited the office I had a very unpleasant experience all around. Do not go to this office. At my exam I was advised that I had a total of six cavities that needed to be filled. I decided to get a second opinion. The other dentist advised me that I had one single cavity that I needed to get filled and that the rest of my mouth looked great. On top of that when I requested the X-rays from your office that were taken the day of this exam I was sent them in a format that would not open. I called back to explain this to the front desk who told me that they never reported these X-rays to insurance so they were not going to send me them. Making it extremely difficult for my second opinion dentist to see what your office was talking about without doing another round of X-rays. On top of this the front desk never answers the phone you have to call and leave a voicemail and hope that someone calls you back.

I accidentally selected HMO as my dentist plan which is why I ended up at this dental place.I was told on my first visit I had a cavity, I’ve never had a cavity before so was already suspicious.Furthermore was told I grind my teeth at night and would need a night guard straight away. One year later I was able to go to PPO and found a new dentist. I asked the new dentist about my teeth grinding and she said there is no signs I grind my teeth and found it odd a dentist would have suggested I needed a night guard.I would highly recommend steering clear of this place. Believe it or not, I had a great time, even though this was a trip to the dentist. The staff was fantastic and overall I had a very smooth experience. I even got to wear some sweet Back to the Future sunglasses (shown below). It had been a long time since Id been to the dentist thanks to some prior bad experiences, but both the medical and office staff were great: they were friendly pros, and made what should have been a really bad time go by really well--I had some gnarly teeth and needed to get a bunch of work done. My doctor had a great chairside manner: she did a really good job of being honest without being judgmental. I feel like I have a good plan to move forward and keep my teeth healthy from here on out.I got a followup call two days later from my doctor, which is the first time Ive ever had a dentist actually call to make sure everything went well. I didnt need to call back, because it did.I thought they did a really good job distinguishing between what they could do (1) for free under my insurance, (2) what Id need to fork out for, but was medically important, and (3) what was cosmetic. Sure, theyll try to sell you on cosmetic stuff, but thats the case everywhere. I never felt railroaded or tricked.Id for sure recommend this office.

I have been going to Aria Dental and have had very positive experiences until now. Todays visit was sub-par. Theyre usually prompt and efficient, but this time a basic 6-month check up and cleaning took 90 minutes. Four different people worked on my teeth and only one introduced herself by name. Oddly, the dentist herself did the cleaning, which isnt normal practice here. Wonder if they are short-staffed.

I thought it couldnt be possible and apparently neither did my dental insurance because I ended up having to pay out of pocket for almost all of it. I feel robbed. Not to mention the thoughtless way they conducted their exam – they told me I might have tongue cancer and waited 15+ minutes to finish looking at my teeth to take a closer look and tell me I was fine. Meanwhile my heart is beating out of my chest wondering if I might have some horrible disease. Oh but before they told me I was fine they told me it would cost $50 to find out. These people are embarrassing and only want your money, they do not care about your oral health.

The staff was friendly enough but they were very clearly new (confirmed upon checkout....one was a temp). The hygienist narrated every step of what she was doing, as if I had never been to a dentist before, or maybe that’s just how she remembered how to do her job. Further, she did a poor job of polishing and barely applied any pressure, she just kind of patted the polish on my teeth and squirted water in my mouth awkwardly and asked me to swish around....I know this is wrong because I have, in fact, been to many good dentists over the past 30+ years. The actual dentist was nice, but he was shaky handed and I would have a hard time trusting him with anything beyond a simple cleaning. He stabbed my gums pretty hard and I let him know, and this happens from time to time, but man....I was just uncomfortable the entire time. They were clearly uncomfortable doing their job and it projected discomfort on me. 11/10 will be finding another dentist.

Had to come back and change my rating from a 5 star after Aria switched me to a new doctor without warning. Ive been going here for roughly 1 year for several procedures.During my yearly cleaning the hygienist (who is really professional and very good) warned me she will have to interrupt the cleaning because she doesnt know when the doctor will stop by. He comes in, talks to me for less than 5 minutes and lets me know there is no way to know if I need a filling or a crown. (small difference of 400 bucks but whatever)During my follow-up he was late by 30 min, then told me I need to book more time next visit because this will certainly need a crown. Finally the retainer I got from them does not fit and causes serious pain when worn overnight. Kept being told that maybe Im not used to a medical retainer and maybe the edges are too sharp. To their credit they did offer to replace it for free or fix it.Used to be good and the cleaning is good, but the doctors are seriously overbooked or not caring.Would not recommend for anything except a basic yearly cleaning and would get a second opinion for any serious procedure.

I really liked my dentist on my first appointment there. She recommended a deep cleaning so I did that at my next appointment. After they told me to schedule a follow up cleaning, not explaining it’s a “periodontal maintenance” appointment. I had no clue what that even meant. I come to the appointment assuming it’s a normal cleaning and end up having to pay $69 out of pocket, thinking it would be covered by insurance. I call to verify why I was charged that at my appointment and they told me according to the notes they explained it wouldn’t be a normal cleaning, which is untrue. Even the hygienist (who was very nice btw) today referred to it as a cleaning she was scheduling me in the future, not a “periodontal maintenance” appointment. Very disappointed.

No one came in after 40 minutes, so I went to reception and told them I had to leave, because I was on my lunch break. They re-scheduled my appointment, and the second time I was seen, I waited for 25 minutes before seeing the dentist, who told me that I needed a deep cleaning because my gums were receding. It wouldnt be wholly covered by insurance, so I asked her to do a regular cleaning (which is what I was scheduled to do), but she flat out REFUSED, saying that I needed a deep cleaning. I hightailed it out of there (making sure to take my xrays with me) and went to another dentist, who told me that there was NO REASON for me to get a deep cleaning, and confirmed that this other place was trying to rip me off. Ive put in a claim for fraud with my health insurance company.I really hope that these unethical dentists that have NO RESPECT for peoples time or hard-earned money are put out of business and banned from practicing.

SUMMARY: Terrible experience(s). Ive visited for 2 cleanings and a few night guard adjustment visits, and each left me thinking Ah, I should look for a new dentist soon. The hygienist did a poor job cleaning my teeth, forgot to floss, and smugly asked if I even brushed or floss (which I do twice a day, every day!). Dentist impatient. Front desk staff did not code my last visit correctly and charged me up front, to which I had to then comb through my insurance to verify that it was indeed covered (which they initially told me it wasnt, so frustrating!).Longer story: When I called to correct the insurance error, they said no problem, will refund my money (which is good, but also leads me to believe that this happens frequently. I also didnt feel comfortable giving my card info over the phone, but at that point what can you do, you know?). But then it was followed by calls saying theyre going g to email me, but that I am wrong and my insurance doesnt cover it .Its been back and forth, and Im emailing my policy back today. So petty of them!As far as the dentists, the one I saw at my first visit is no longer there, 6 months later - she was terrible, so I wont go into it much. However, the current dentist I did see seemed to be annoyed at my questions about tooth sensitivity and a cavity the previous dentist had filled and about a night guard (that the previous dentist had INSISTED I buy (@$400), wear, and apparently not complain about, as I had been back 3 additional times to get it adjusted because it was wayyyyyy too tight). So, this night guard had been affecting my teeth after all (because of course!), and this current doctor just recommended that I stop wearing it. In sum, both dentists were dismissive to my concerns and seemed annoyed that I had questions about my dental health that werent clarified. The hygienist was okay, but not anything to write home about. I actually think she forgot to clean one portion, but I will definitely not be returning.Highly recommend shopping around for alternative places for your dental needs.

I am lucky to have witnessed the red flags with working there for just one week. I am almost positive they are running a dental scam. The manager/owner “ AJ “ (who also disguises himself as “Josh” from corporate was insisting for me to push doctors to plan treatment for patients that they DONT need. In essence to receive funds from patients benefits. In the week I was there I answered several calls of places they do business with that have not been paid or have declined credit card transactions. I’ve also taken calls from patients threatning to sue and a lawyer that was reaching out on behalf of their client. They currently have a receptionist that is fulfilling multiple roles that I’m sure she isn’t being compensated fairly for. I have experience as a treatment coordinator and ALL the red flags are there. There was never any information given to me nor was any paperwork signed in order for me to be compensated (W2). When I asked about it this supposed owner became standoffish and tried to pull a bait and switch saying that he felt I was more suited for a receptionst role with less pay! I wanted to laugh in his face. Nevertheless if I have issues with being compensated i will be seeking legal action against them. I HOPE EVERYONE STAYS AWAY. Treatments that are being recommended here probably aren’t necessary. They barely have staff or working equipment. If I could only give negative stars! 👎🏾🖕🏾

The service at this office has been incredibly frustrating. It has gotten to the point where I have had to tack on an additional hour for personal scheduling, just because I know that the wait time is incredibly long. I have never been to an appointment where I have been seen during my scheduled time. I am usually seen 30-45 mins from my original appointment.Today was the breaking point. I was scheduled for a regular cleaning, and was surprised to be seated in the office chair a little after my scheduled appointment. The dental assistant (who I have never seen before) told me that the dentist would see me first and the cleaning would begin (odd). I waited for an additional 15 minutes to a new dentist, Dr. McSweeny, who off the bat, seemed hesitant and almost reluctant to begin any sort of procedure. When I explained new issues of concern that I have been experiencing with my teeth, I was met with disbelief. It was if the dentist did trust what I had to say, or that I did not know what I was talking about. His bedside manner was incredibly off-putting, and I should have left the office right at that point. After he had inspected my teeth for not even 2 minutes, he realized that he had no power tools to perform any procedure, which I thought was extremely odd. He left for 10 minutes, and the same assistant came back to tell me that we would have to play musical chairs because the office I was in did not have power tools (???). She explained that it would take a mere 3 minutes to be re-situated, but yet again I had to wait for another 10-15 minutes to be finally moved. She also explained to me that she was just in the office to help out which signified that they were understaffed and extremely unorganized. To make matters even more complicated and even more odd, Dr. McSweeny positioned me at a 45 degree angle in the dental chair of the new room to perform his exam. He actually instructed me to hold one of the tools in my mouth for the duration of the exam, which I have NEVER been asked to do (and should never be asked to do). Because I was sat at a 45 degree angle, the water coming out of one of the tools he was using to clean the residue actually splattered everywhere and soaked through the cloth that was positioned on my chest and onto my shirt. Embarrassed, he gave me one paper towel to dry myself with and continued with his exam, and then stopped midway to explain that the water had run out (??????). He left the exam to find a staff member to assist, but all staff members were obviously preoccupied at the moment. At this point I was mortified. When I asked if everything was ok, he explained that he had only been at the office for four months, had no assistant to help him with the exam, and told me that if I would like to see another dentist because I was uncomfortable, he would understand. What kind of dentist says this? When I asked to see the other dentist, he was even surprised that I wanted to see the dentist the day of. He brought the receptionist to the office after audibly telling her that they had an unhappy patient to which the lobby and I could hear. I have never done this before, but I left the appointment halfway through the exam, explained my frustration to the frantic receptionist at the front desk, and vowed never to come back.Note to this office: stress the importance of bedside manner to ALL of your employees: receptionists, assistants, and doctors. Work to cut down your wait time as you have professionals working in the loop who need to be back in the office for meetings, or be transparent about wait times from the very beginning to prevent future issues. If you are considering another dentist in the loop area, please do so. This is the last time I will ever visit this practice.

I arrived for my appointment about 15 minutes early, mind you several people that arrived after me were seen before me. I overlooked that situation. Finally they call me and assign me to a room. The assistant prepped me to be seen by the dentist, stating that shell be with me shortly. Dr. Nadpal came in the room numbed my gums in the upper left and right side of my mouth. She exited the room and said she would return soon. Im numb and waiting, about 15 minutes pass and the assistant informs me that they need me to move to the room next door. Okay. We go to the room right next door. I wait about 20 minutes, by this time the numbness is wearing off. I hear Dr. Nadpal in the room that they transferred me from working with the patient that came in after me. Mind you, I was furious. I got out of the chair and waited for the doctor to come in, she didnt, I happened to see her walking past and asked her to come in the room. I asked her why did she abandon me. She said, Im sorry, I can numb you again and take care of you quickly. ARE YOU SERIOUS? I obviously declined her offer, proceeded to the receptionist to retrieve my dental records and said goodbye to, Aria Dental. Obviously the ownership, management or both has changed for the worse at this establishment and it shows.

This place will give a lot of pain to your wallet. for the 1st time i just want a annual clean, but after the x-ray they told me i have 9 cavities, in this docter-patient situation, i spend about $600 out of my pocket . that was include a one spot deep clean. they scheduled me an appointment 6 month later, which was on 12/19th, but i finally went there on 12/20th because they are too busy need to put my appointment later . they called me to reschedule , i asked the front desk if this is the 2nd routine clean, i got the answer yes over the phone, but they charged me $32 after the service, they defined it as periodontic follow up even though i still have my 2nd free routine clean on my insurance account, the service for me is the same, the only thing is they charged me , i guess that is why they name it differently.DO NOT GET HERE IF YOU ARE NOT PREPARED YOU WILL BE CHARGED.

I had impressions taken for whitening trays done here and Katie was the assistant who helped me. She talked me through the entire process and made my visit very comfortable.

This visit was disappointed. i waited there for 30 mins w/o updates. i had to go out to receptionist to ask how long do i need to wait. the receptionist didnt seem to care at all. after the routine cleaning, the receptionist trying to charge me 30bucks, i was like it is a routine clearing that is 100% covered by insurance. she was like no it is a maintainace. i was shocked! first maintanance for what? and second it was scheduled for the routine cleaning by my dentist last year(it was a diff dentist today), and i know my insurance coverage, so dont try to fool me. i told her all those and she let me go. all the time she shows no interests in her job instead it was the idk attitude, i have been to this place for two years and always feels good, but this time with new dentists and receptionist it was horrible.

I had the first appointment of the day, but didnt see a dentist until I said something at 8:45. They then provided me a very rushed polish and floss, sacrificing the quality of my clean because they were running behind.

Worst dentist I ever been to, the workmanship is extremely poor, and this office will overcharge you if you dont pay attention. I have to now pay to repair the mess Aria Dental has created. My advice to anyone looking for a dentist is run like hell, do let them ruin your teeth.

Had a crowning performed, and after 3 months the permanent crown has not come in. Now they seem to not be answering my calls. I decided to go with another dental provider to finish up and to be my primary care provider.

Dr. Maya A. Benes and Aria Dental are great. Dr. Benes has been my doctor for a while now, I have had cavities filled. The procedures are always quick and painless. I have never had any problems with the fillings afterwards. I strongly recommend Dr. Benes.

45 minutes for a four month cleaning, professional and she hummed which helped me relax with no anxiety. I hope they get satellite radio/Pandora/ Spotify service so they can coordinate their playlists for the overwhelming and easing staff members.

It is hard to schedule appointments with this office. There are limited hours during the week that providers are available. They close early often on Fridays before 2 PM. Clerical staff doesn’t call back consistently.

First they had the gaul to tell me I could have three teeth pulled on my lunch break and go back to work. The lovely ladies at the front desk you can read all about on Yelp. No, I couldnt go back to work I was nauseous and dizzy from the gas and had to go home. Then when I got home, I tried to fill my prescription and it had another patients name on it. Guess what, the pharmacy wont give you someone elses drugs. Best part, the office was closed and there is no after hours emergency number. So as the pain meds wore off, I now had to deal with pain and no medication. After several visits they broke up my fillings and deep cleaning we got that all done. Now, I gave them my insurance information and what insurance didnt cover, I paid the rest on credit card. Up front. ALL my visits were paid for before any work was done. Shortly after the work was done, my firm actually took on case against them because the plaintiff claimed they were overcharged. That prompted me to ask for my billing records, and there was never a response. What a suprise, right? So I let it go. I figured I paid what they asked me to pay now its over and move on. I would never know if they ripped me off. Well, its not over. Now cut to eight months later, someone named V.P. is contacting me, admitting she was not at Aria at the time of my services, they didnt have a billing coordinater (they had an office manager that was fully capable of sending me my records) and now VP is there and letting me know I owe them an additional $400! Eight months later!? She shifted the blame on me saying, I must have known I owed money because no one asked me for any co-pays at any of my visits (which makes absolutely no sense) I paid you $1000 to get the work done, what insurance didnt cover, up front - why would anyone ask me for more money when I paid what was asked of me on day one??Now Ive asked for a complete set of records, including the payment agreement that I signed and low and behold - she is not providing them to me. This smells very fraudulent. I dont know on what planet you go to a dentist and they dont tell you 100% of what you need to pay up front that your insurance doesnt cover. VP claimed that this happened because my services were under estimated. I called my insurance company come to find out one of the doctors that did my fillings and cleaning wasnt even in network, but they let me see her anyway. So before you let them schedule you make sure 100% that DR is in your network. Despite me giving them my insurance info!!! The doctor on the EOB VP sent me which was her supporting documentation for why I owed them $400, wasnt even the DR who did the work. Dr. D did not do my cleanings or fillings, VP. So why are you submitting that to my insurance, huh? I suspect there are many more inconsistencies in my billing history and thats why she wouldnt provide it to me. Stay away from these people! They are incompetent, rude staff, and con artists currently in litigation. What business do you know of that you pay for work to be done, and almost a year later asks you for more money? Aria Dental, thats who.PS - my previous review I left on Yelp was paid for with a free cleaning. Hell, maybe thats what they are really charging me for now a year later, who really knows..
