This place is awesome. I had a few bad days and I think this is something I really needed. Eddie was the person who assisted me, and he was wonderful. I did their salt hydration which was relaxing and wonderful. I bought a Groupon for one, and I really really really enjoyed myself, 10 minutes sauna, 10 minutes steamer, and 30 minutes on the beer soak which online said 45 minutes beer tub. So I was like, oh no! That sucks I did not get the full time. However, the nice little tray of meat, cheese, and fruit was great touch, relaxing music, and LOVE THE BEER. I would recommend this place.

My boyfriend took me here for our anniversary and it was such great experience. The employees are very attentive. They have the option if you want beer or water! I got my massage from Jessica and she really listen to my needs and I feel completely relaxed. Would definitely go again!

The experience was wonderful! The customer service at the spa was wonderful. The spa itself is nicely decorated and designed. It is very clean. The salt room, sauna, steam room and beer soak were fantastic. I highly recommend and will be back!

Great place! We had the combo package with sauna, steam room and bath and it was a great experience.I especially liked that we were offered drinks (beer, wine, water) right at the beginning for the sauna and had another cup waiting for us at the beer bath along with a board of snacks.Everyone was super friendly (also following COVID guidance) and had every room for us privately.Would recommend that experience for a nice date night and will probably back to try out the salt room.

This place was amazing! I honestly could not say one bad thing about this experience! Worth every penny and then some. I originally got this for my bf for Xmas of 2019 and we were finally able to use it yesterday. Worth the wait!! We were soaking and trying to figure out when we can come back! Best part I didn’t know about all of the things we were getting, beer and a cheese/fruit platter! It hit the spot!! If you’re thinking about going this is the sign to go!!!

My husband and I went for our anniversary. We had the silver couples package and it was great. The whole experience was relaxing for both of us..clean facility relaxing atmosphere...highly recommend.

While downstairs inn the beer bath, youre served a snack tray of freshly cut 🍎, 🧀 and 🍇 with a 🍺 of beer which awakens all your senses. With Sauna, steam room, salt cave, hot tub or beer baths, massage rooms and relaxation rooms to lay down and rest between treatments, they offer multiple ways to find your inner peace amongst the chaos.

My husband and I indulged in the Platinum package on Saturday, October 31st and everything was perfectly splendid from beginning to end. We were greeted promptly and it was clear that everything was very clean and safe.We never felt rushed but everything was very efficient. We received lots of attention and loved every minute of this unique experience.Jessica and Paris were our massage therapists and we cannot recommend each of them more!! If we lived locally, we would be happy to return just for their services alone!Every bit is worth it and we hope you have the opportunity to enjoy as much as we did!

I bought a Groupon and surprised my husband for his birthday. The owner was very kind, funny, and professional. During the whole experience, he made sure we had enough beer to drink! You start in the salt room, then move to the sauna, then the steam room, then the beer soak. While soaking in the beer, we were each given a small charcuterie board with meat, cheese, veggies, and fruit. Each room, locker room, bathroom was very clean. We left feeling thoroughly relaxed and will be back! Thank you, Piva Beer Spa for a wonderful experience!

Platinum Couples Package, visiting from Arizona, and this place blew our minds! Spectacular concept, place and service. Couldn’t have been more pleased. Sat in the salt room (Beer) to start, then moved on to a quick trip to the sauna (more beer), to the steam room (which my wife thought it was a bit much) then onto the beer soak which included more beer, beer facial, then a full hour massage with Jessica and Paris. I did need a nap later but small price for more than 3 hours of bliss.

It was a great time for my husband and me. Recommend for a fun couple date.

This was such an interesting and cool experience! I love beer and when I moved to Chicago I stumbled upon Piva on Yelp. I bookmarked it and decided for my birthday this year to treat myself to the Gold Package. It started with relaxing in the salt room, then time in the sauna and steam room (separate things), then a beer soak. There were snacks in the beer soak room! I also got to enjoy a couple of Czech pilsners while I was there. After the soak I had a massage and face mask. I really enjoyed everything start to finish. My spa “tour guide” was so friendly and full of info and my masseuse was super sweet and friendly as well. I may have to make this a regular adventure! I hope to bring friends or family here in the future.

I surprised my sister with a spa date at Piva Beer Spa. We LOVED it!! I got a groupon and it was worth it! Eddie was extremely nice and helpful throughout our whole experience!First, we went downstairs to the locker room and changed into robes. We were offered the choice of water or beer and we selected beer. The beer was very smooth and tasty (this is coming from someone who doesnt like beer). We went upstairs to the sauna and then the steam room. After the steam room we went back downstairs where the bathtubs are located for our beer soak. There was another beer along with a nice small charcuterie board waiting for us. Lovely music was playing in the background creating the perfect atmosphere.This spa is beautiful and very clean! The design, layout, and everything about it is perfect! Amazing experience!I highly recommend it and will definitely return to Piva Beer Spa.

I booked the platinum single package and I loved every second of it from the moment I went in to the moment I left the spa.You walk in and the owner takes you to a locker to get changed into a bath robe and slippers.  The first stop is the salt room (halotherapy) which is filled with medical grade salt. It is one of the few places in Chicago that offers this service. The room is beautiful and you truly feel zen sitting in the zero gravity chairs.Then you have the sauna/ steam room which are always lovely and a nice addition to the ambiance and pampering session.The beer soak is marvelous.  Youre taken to a lovely room where the bathtub looks like a beer barrel and water is warm to the touch.  You also get a charcuterie board which always makes me feel divine.After 45 minutes of the beer soak you get taken to the massage room where you are greeted by the massage therapist.  Jessica Marie was my massage therapist for this session and honestly she has been the best I have ever had. She took alot of care with my body and was very attentive and informative about her hand movements and why she was focusing on certain parts of my body over others. I left the session knowing more about my body than when I entered and truly feeling refreshed and with a pep to my step.I would 100% repurchase the package and experience everything again .

Halotherapy rooms and ‘salt caves’ vary in quality & atmosphere. PIVA is hands down the most accessible and affordable in the city while providing premium personal care from staff & owners.Beer or water are available to hydrate with. Paper booties are provided to slip on when walking on salt sand floor. And the first two ergonomic lounge chairs sit backed up to the salt-air generator fan in a way that allows you to lay back in a supine position. Breathing in that higher concentration of salty air is SO refreshing and therapeutic for my sinuses & bronchi.As an asthmatic trying to thrive in a post-COVID city I am thrilled that PIVA books appointments well after the standard “office hours” to catch the after-work clients. Brilliant! I’m a patient-facing health care worker and after a long day I can pop over to PIVA for a quick 45.Stretching, Sitting, Meditating & some Yogic Breathing in the salt cave to zap my Ear/Nose/Throat & Lungs with crisp antimicrobial air is rejuvenating. PIVA’s beautiful Halotherapy room helps me take less prescription medications in the management of my Adult Asthma. And for that alone I am head over heels for PIVA!I look forward to pampering myself in future visits with some extra time in the sauna & steam rooms.

My wife and I did the couples gold package and it was such an amazing experience. My wife loved every second of it and we came out so relaxed. We enjoyed everything from the salt room all the way to the beer soak. We highly recommend this to everyone looking for a relaxing experience.

Treat yo self! My girlfriend and I purchased the gold package and left stress free. The massage, sauna and steam room are standard for most places, but more private as only one or two people.Where Piva truly stands out is the salt room and beer bath. The beer bath is the perfect temperature and comes right in the middle of your stay. Plus the cheese and beer are delicious that is served! Also grape tomatoes, brown bread, cucumbers and grapes (heads up to vegetarians).Both owners are super kind and respectful of privacy. Water is constantly being offered and you never feel rushed from point a to point b. Well worth the money on a Saturday afternoon.
