She is very professional, and she takes the time to explain what needs to be done and provides valuable advice. Its not easy to find a good dentist for your tooth problem. I’ve been going here for over 10 years. My main dentist is Dr. Finkel and he’s a total gem but I have also met the other dentists who are great as well. They keep a great history of all my dental stuff and take the time to catch up with my chart so they always have a complete perspective of my status before every check up. Also, I always enjoy picking what channel I watch on the TV to try to distract myself during my cleaning:)

The doctors, assistants and staff all seem to anticipate what I needed, whether helping me with how I was feeling in the dentist chair, or with scheduling and billing. The staff here is great! I had my 6 month cleaning this week and was in and out in less than half an hour. My hygienist did a very thorough cleaning. Im not sure Ive ever used the word love in connect with a dental office before but I love this place!

Highly recommend. Was getting horrible painful headaches and my uncle suggested I see a dentist. Found out I was grinding my teeth and Dr. Katz suggest a mouth guard piece for sleeping and haven’t had a headache since. Very grateful. Also their hygienist and staff are incredible.

I have been seeing Dr. Finkel for many years. He is friendly, skilled, and professional. I run over here on my lunch break so I also appreciate that his office is always on time. The staff here is great too, everyone is so friendly and its always a good experience (despite my childhood fears of the dentist!) I cant say enough great things about my dental hygienist, Jar - she has a very gentle touch. The whole practice has a very warm, relaxed environment, but it is run like a tight ship at the same time. Ive been going to Illinois Center Dental Associates for 12 years and I am very happy with their service. They do great work and everyone on the staff is nice. They also do well in keeping their appointment times, which is important for me as I have a busy work schedule. Once I had a dental emergency (a wisdom tooth infection) and I called their emergency line on a weekend night; I received a response back the same night and assistance to take care of the problem as soon as possible.

I first came to Illinois Center Dental Associates on a referral, and I had such a great experience that Ive used them ever since. Dr. Katz, the dentist, and Jar, my hygenist, are knowledgeable, professional, efficient, and always pleasant. Even when they have to remind me to take better care of myself, they do it kindly (although they wont beat around the bush!). The staff are always polite over the phone, and even help to accommodate short-notice appointments. I moved to Boston a few years ago, but I havent even tried looking for a local dentist; Im happy with what I have! (Its also a convenient excuse to visit my relatives every now and then...)

Absolute disaster with this company, not from the Dentist himself whom was great but mostly from the inefficient and unprofessional staff at the front desk.Skip the attitude, that I can deal with it, but be worried, concerned and careful about the deceitful tactics they use in order to get you in.I clearly asked the receptionist to check with my insurance that the treatment was covered to which they said YES, IT IS! demanded my social sec to which I told them I didnt have to give it to them. They insisted over and over so finally I did.A year later, they are demanding payment and treating me to send it to collections if I dont pay by the end of the dayThey couldnt give me a concrete professional answer as to why it took a year for them to contact me. The answer was, we kept sending this to your insurance but they declineRemember, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO GIVE ANY HEALTH PROVIDER YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY. They will insist over and over with hundreds of reasons, simply dont do it and do not trust them when they tell you that you are covered

While I cant count a visit to the dentists office among the purest pleasures in life, Dr. Katz, his staff, and his colleagues remove a lot of the pain from that process.Its a special talent that allows a hygienist to maintain a bright, engaging conversation while poised above someones open mouth, chipping away at all sorts of disgusting stuff while getting drooled upon. I fear I subject mine to that task twice a year, and it always amazes me.Illinois Center Dental Associates is either a fantastic place to work or it specializes in hiring people who never have a bad day.
