After much research and deliberation, we chose TLE Sauganash for our 3 y/o and 6 m/o. We started 6 weeks ago and literally couldn’t be happier! Our 3 y/o needed the socialization badly post-Covid (we had only a nanny before TLE). We were able to tour the school, meet in person with the director and they helped us make the transition easy. She never even cried once! She loves school and has already made friends and learned new skills. She is so much more independent and we owe it to TLE. Our 6 m/o gets the love and attention he needs and both are very happy there. The hours of operation work great for our family (7:30-6!) and they have very few school closings through out the year which works well for working parents. The drop-off and pick-up process is seamless and you can tell the teachers/staff really care for the kids. Lots of hugs and high fives and smiling faces. We are thrilled we chose TLE!

My kiddo loved the teachers and staff at this facility. I appreciated the feedback on developmental progress and the quick responses whenever I had a question.

My daughter is in preschool at TLE-Sauganash and we have had an incredibly positive experience. It is truly a unique environment where my daughter is thriving. The staff here is what really makes the difference. EVERYONE genuinely cares for our daughter, beyond just her teachers. Everything is high quality, clean, and surpassed our familys expectations. She absolutely LOVES coming to school each day. I spend my days knowing shes in the care of the next best thing to Mommy and Daddy.

Our son started at the The Learning Experience right when he turned 3. The adjustment to full time pre-school was very smooth because of the caring and attentive teachers and staff. English is the second language for my son and they have been incredibly accommodating with the transition. The director and teachers are very responsive and attentive. The facilities are clean and kids-friendly. It is a very happy place to be: sunny and neat facilities, large indoor and outdoor playground for free play and physical exercise, fun learning activities, flexible drop-off and pick-up times for busy working parents, music and dance sessions, fun games etc. Our son made a lot of friends there and learned so much in less than a year. He is excited every morning to go to work! Thank you TLE for taking such good care of the kids and building the foundation for the school years ahead.

Our toddler has been at TLE since July of 2018, and loves going there each day. He has developed great relationships with the teachers, and its clear they truly love and care about him! He has also made friendships with his classmates and talks about them when we are at home. I am impressed with their curriculum and all of the great experiences he has during the day. I can always speak with the director to ask any questions and receive communication back quickly. I feel confident leaving our toddler in their care, and am looking forward to our infant starting when I return to work.

We have had our now-4 and 1.5 year old kids at TLE since September 2018 and have been extremely pleased with their experience there. We also have an older child and this is our 4th daycare through the years, and I’d rate it as the best. Somehow all the staff are friendly all the time and they all know our kids well and seem to truly care about them. They communicate with us well and respond to our questions promptly. I like the curriculum a lot, one of the many perks of being a part of a national program. They handled our son’s milk allergy very nicely. I’ve been particularly impressed with the consistency of staff, which seems to be hard to find in daycare settling so I assume that means the staff are pretty happy as well. Thanks for taking such great care of our kids!

I would never ever recommend this facility to any parents who care about their kids. I have chose this center because the distance and the directors welcome face in the beginning. In fact, there are numerous reason for me to tell you do not trust your first meeting with the teachers and staff there. 1) my kid always come back home without diaper changes 2) they have big turn over for their teachers, most of them seem like not responsible for the kids, when you have questions, they always seem like they do not know what is going on 3) kids always have dirty clothes from doing craft work even you have bring all bibs for them to wear 4) they do not care about the kids safety!!!!!!!!!! this is the biggest reason i turn away from them, they let the kids play and eat markers without direct them in a right way, my kid got sick afterwards but they do not care about it.5) the teachers are not fully trained, they do not know how to use epic-pen, and they don’t know on top of their head which kid is allergic for what kind of food!!!!!!!very dangerous!!!!! the whole center is lack of management, the director has two faces, they would welcome you before you enroll and say whatever promises verbally, and change her face after your kid attend the center for few months, she made you feel that you should never ask her questions, always in a rush, never like to solve the problem in a proper way. she would made you feel it is your fault to have many questions or deal with a problem. After you decide to leave, she also made some improper common and faces!!!!! Again, if you care about your kid’s safety, and a good communication place, this is not a place to send your baby in! very disappointed and waste money!

My son has only been attending for two weeks, but everyone seems to genuinely care about him which makes the transition much easier. So far, so good.

We recently relocated from CA and TLE Sauganash has helped to make our transition back to Chicago a positive one for our family. I was in contact with the Director prior to our move and she was helpful, professional and pro-active with her follow up and communication. In the 6 months since our 2 yo Daughter has been at the center her skills have blossomed and weve observed so much positivity around her social awareness. Importantly, she is happy to arrive each morning and talks about her teachers and classmates, daily. We want our child cared for in a safe and happy environment while she is learning and, TLE Sauganash has provided us with just that.

As a preschool teacher with four years of experience in child care I can confidently say that The Learning Experience is by far the best center I have worked at. Management is so attentive to training every teacher/staff in providing a safe and nurturing environment for every child in the center. Safety is a big priority here, so we are all certified in CPR/First-Aid, SIDS, Shaken Baby Syndrome, administrating Epi-Pen, and other trainings in safety. All teachers, kitchen staff, and management in the center acknowledge food allergies and/or diet restrictions a child may have whether the child is assigned to our classroom or not. Kelsie is a prime example of what an astounding center director should be. She goes above and beyond to welcome every child and parent that walks through our doors. Children run inside every morning to give her good morning hugs and you can catch her walking the halls throughout the day to interact with every classroom. Teachers and students have a loving, caring, and trustworthy relationship with each other. The day is full of many activities that range from an implemented curriculum to fun (sometimes messy) art projects that put smiles in everyone’s faces. Every teacher makes parent and teacher interactions a priority. We are always ready to listen to questions and give confident answers to parents. We try to create a relationship with each of our parents. Our students sometimes get sad to go home and even ask their parents, “Just a little longer?” That right there definitely gives us pride and joy in what we do everyday.

Truly a wonderful learning center! My favorite part of TLE is the staff. I find them easy to talk to and very welcoming. My 2 children love attending TLE of sauganash! I head to work stress free bc i know that my children are being cared for by nurturing educators which makes tbis parent thankful. I love that they teach infants sign language and to preschoolers they are being taught about U.S. Presidents. My children will be so ready for elementary school thanks to TLE. Lastly, I would be remissed if i didnt mention how clean the school is kept and the terrific well-balanced lunches they serve to the kids. Thank you TLE Sauganash

I’ve been with The Learning Experience since May 2018, it’s always a new adventure with all children. My coworkers and I are all CPR and First Aid Certified(which means we’ve all learned how to use an epipen). Also, we have the best director Kelsie Newman she’s so attentive with us, children, and family as well. She makes it not just a learning experience but a fun experience. All the kids are well cared for by all of us(even if they’re not in our rooms). All of our staff(directors included) are very caring for one another and children most importantly. All the kids love our art projects although sometimes they can get messy(what child doesn’t get messy while doing art), they enjoy making art. Best Daycare I’ve worked at.

If you like picking your child up wet & cold then TLE is for you. If you would rather your child care provider roll your kids vomit up in the sleeve than just put on a fresh shirt then TLE is for you. If you hate routine and want a new pick up/drop off routine every few days then TLE is for you. If you hate communication and want your inquiries to go unanswered then TLE is for you. If you love false expectations and broken promises then TLE will be the perfect fit for your family!!! But seriously, we were bamboozled by pushy sales tactics and a fresh building. We were silly. Don’t be us. Save yourself the heartache and just keep looking. How they have managed to only have perfect scores is astonishing & suspicious. I just can’t believe I’m the only one having this experience. It’s an “unfortunate” learning experience. Pun intended. Oh - and the only other Google reviewer is actually the director. Just trying to help you make an informed choice.
