My daughters have attended Apple Tree since they were toddlers. They have been there for three years. I cant say enough good things about my experience at this daycare. My girls were preemies and needed to have therapist work with them. The directors were great at allowing the therapists come in to the center and work with my girls. Arnold the director was very helpful, he informed me when one of the therapist that was supposed to be working with one of my girls, was actually just on her phone the whole time and not actually providing the services she was there to do. I eventually ended up hiring someone else and noticed a huge difference in my childs development thanks to Arnold. The teachers at the center truly care about the kids. My girls love this day care and have learned a lot. I am very thankful I was recommended to this daycare by one of my girls therapists. Having my children attend this daycare was one of the best decisions I made as a parent. I would recommend it to any parent, and I have.

Apple Tree Learning Center is an amazing place. The staff and teachers are awesome. They go above and beyond. The teachers really make an effort to engage the kids and develop them in a very individualised way. The management is really committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment. I highly recommend sending your children to their child care Center.

I strongly recommend Apple Tree. My second one is going there now and we couldnt be happier. This place is family owned, has some character, and friendly and attentive staff. They also know how to entertain our little ones, educate them and inspire curiosity. Very thoughtful space with indoor and outdoor playground. Affordable prices compared to other daycare in the neighborhood as well! Kids love it ! My 5 year old loves going back occasionally!

This is my daughters very first day care she started when she was 15 months old I was very nervous about day care itself , considering she was only still so young and she was my very first baby. A friend of mine recommended me her two of her girls have been there for 2/4 years now, so that made me feel a lot more comfortable. I can say my co-pay for this day care isnt bad at all. My baby has been with them for 3 months now and she loves it. I honestly dont know how they do it, with no bottle. But they do , she takes her two hour long naps and she is happy every time I pick her up she doesnt want to leave. She had her up and downs of course the first week and when shes sick but overall, Shes doing just fine. The only downfall in my personal opinion is the meal choices, they the healthiest , but over all Ill give this day care a 5 star

I cannot say enough good things. My daughter came to Apple Tree from an in-home daycare and she just fluorished. She was certainly loved and cared for in her previous environment, however the enrichment and learning she is getting from Apple Tree is simply amazing. She knows words in Spanish, can recognize sight words and if school didnt close for a few months due to Covid, I know she would be reading by now. I aslo love the diversity in this school! I would highly recommend!!

Wouldnt leave my child anywhere else! We are happy and feel lucky each day we drop off our youngest daughter. My eldest went to the Pulaski location years ago and I couldnt imagine any other daycare watching over my girls. I love this daycare!!!! The staff are very caring and attentive. The center is very clean. I give them 5 stars for great service and for truly loving my girls and keeping them safe but most of all I write this review you to thank the daycare for educating my daughter while I work. I truly feel that the daycare is her second family.

I brought my son Xavier here a few years ago. He was at this school for two years and we loved it. He learned so much, by the time he left to kindergarten he was ready to read. The teachers are so nice, he still talks about them and how much he misses Apple tree and all of his friends. We love this place.

I had my daughter at Apple tree for two years and I couldn’t be happier with the amazing service they provided. Now that she’s in kindergarten I’ve realized how much she has advanced and I know Apple tree had a lot to do with it. They are caring and attentive. I always felt confident that my daughter was very well taken care of. I would definitely recommend this center!

We have had a wonderful experience at Apple Tree. Our son always says he had a great day and has learned SO much. From writing his name, to singing songs about the months of the year, to counting much higher than Id expect him to at this age, the progress has been amazing. The owners, teachers and staff are extremely welcoming, caring and patient. We are so thankful for this community gem.

This is our 2nd daycare for our 20month son and we havent been happier. The staff is absolutely wonderful. Our son was always crying at the 1st daycare. Now, he cant wait to go inside with a smile. They teach them letters, shapes and colors. We couldnt be any happier here. Love this place. Highly recommend this place.

Great experience at Apple Tree for our son. Others mentioned the sick policy, and I will say it is very structured as to what they do and dont allow into the class. We actually found it to be a little more laid back compared to other locations we have looked at after moving.Good structure to the day and great environment for the kids. Anytime anything would happen (which ranged from little scrapes to bruises) we got a report from the owners of exactly what happened. We werent too concerned, but it was nice knowing they were on top of any issue. We wish we could find a place as good as this in our new city.

I grew up at this place, and it’s really nice. The workers were always kind, and I always had a great time. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to grow up and learn as a child.

Our family had a very frustrating experience with this daycare center. The teachers and structure seemed great, our 20-month old boy liked coming here. However, we kept getting calls the he was sick and needed to come pick him up and once we would, he would be fine. It got to the point where he was going 3 out of 5 days, if at all. Sometimes, the comments were as vague as he is fussy or grumpy. Times when they said he had had episodes of diarrhea, we would not see that at home until we would dare to take him back to daycare and would get call back. It got to the point where we were told that the center would require doctors notes to take the child in if he were presenting any symptoms, including runny nose and cough. I asked other moms and centers about this policy and they all said that it was outrageous. Later, the owner claimed that was not what they had mentioned their policy was. Ultimately, we decided that we needed a more reliable daycare arrangement. When I went pick up the few things my child had left there, no one spoke a word to me about anything, they just gave me a bag with his things without so much as like we are sorry to see your child go. I feel very disappointed about the treatment we experienced at this daycare because selecting a center for your child to be for such a big chunk of time during the week is a very emotional decision and switch centers radically impacts your childs routine and stability. As a parent, it is shocking and worrisome to be met with that level of indifference by the daycares staff.

Our son, Henry (2 and a half), has been at Apple Tree for the last year…and we can’t say enough good things about his and our experience with them.He has thrived with the wonderful people there. From the owners, Jasmine and Arnold, to his teachers and caregivers (with a special dose of love for Miss Rosa), it has been a great gift to us to know that he is looked after and safe and in a healthy environment every day. It’s hard to leave someone you love so much in anyone else’s care or responsibility, but they have made it feel like leaving him with family. We’ve watched him blossom socially and mentally. He’s made friends, clearly feels happy and comfortable there, and is on a great learning track. They have their own kitchen, a lovely playground (indoor for the winters, even), and a carefully chosen staff that love what they do.We could go on and on about our experience here, but it’s enough to say that we feel truly blessed we found this place and anyone would be fortunate to be able to have their child enrolled and cared for here.Thank you for everything, Jasmine, Arnold, Miss Rosa, Miss Julia, Miss Anabelle, and to the rest of everyone that has helped shape Henry’s time here and made him so happy.Warmest Regards,The HatfieldsByron, Sasha, and Henry.

Female director is fine. The co-director (her husband) was who worried me. He would call my son a baby when he cried (my son was 3 years old at the time) and he would speak to my son in a fashion that I did not find to be age-appropriate. Overall, it seemed like the directors were new to the daycare scene but other than that, my son did enjoy his time there.

With eagerness and anxiety, we will reach a bittersweet end with Appletree come September. Our daughter will soon begin kindergarten, leaving those we call family and friends. We are eager for her to showcase and build on what she has learned here, from counting in multiple languages to writing her own name and numerous sight words. The quality instructions delivered by quality instructors prepared her for far more than the academic expectations of kindergarten. She can add, subtract and compare numbers, read single-syllable words, and describe the life cycle of a butterfly among many concepts learned. She has also acquired skills useful for the world outside the classroom. When she was 2-years-old (age started at Appletree), she asked a waitress about their gluten-free items. My husband and I almost fell off our seats, knowing we did not explicitly teach her this. The Appletree staff not only catered to her multiple allergies, but taught her to be aware of and use her voice to keep her safe from them.In the almost three years here, our child developed into a happy, confident, knowledge-seeking, apt, social little girl and for these reasons, we are anxious to leave. Although we look forward to meeting new teachers and friends at a new school, we are sad to leave her classmates, with whom she played soccer and t-ball, and have weekend play dates. We are sad to leave Appletree and their entire professional and nurturing team, to whom we are grateful. We will miss the daily smiles and anecdotes, and hope her next school experience meets the bar Appletree has set.

Weve had our daughter at Apple Tree for 2 years and we could not have asked for a better daycare center. Our child has many allergies and the staff and cook has always accommodated for her. They take regular field trips, which we love. We get a daily report on what they did, what they learned, how our child behaved, along with any specific comments or concerns regarding her.Our child is constantly learning at Apple Tree and can count to ten in four different languages, all from what she learned there! Finally, the cost is cheaper than almost any other childcare center we looked at. We are very lucky to have stumbled upon Apple Tree!

As a first time mother looking for a daycare for my child was one of the most nerve wracking decisions I had to make 9yrs ago. When I found Apple Tree and met the staff there was some sort of ease I felt leaving my first born on her trial half day. I continued to trust them with my next two children in the years to come. When my youngest Graduated from Apple Tree in the summer of 2012 I was so sad to leave our Apple Tree Family. All three of my children learned so much between 2008-2012. A few examples of the skills they learned are: reading, writing, and counting in three languages. These skills prepared them for their transition into kindergarten. We had our 4th child in 2014. I decided to return to work in the summer of 2016 and the panic set in all over again. Id have to find a daycare I could trust! I called Apple Tree right away! They informed me of their new location. I came in with our child and toured their new facility. It was so comforting to see some familiar faces. Again I felt at ease! I knew immediately this was the one. AGAIN! In the nine months that my youngest has been at Apple Tree, she has developed so many of the skills that my older children learned a few years back. My child comes home singing new song, which is a sign that shes happy. She has impressed us with her ability to count in Tagalog, English and Spanish. The time, the effort, and the dedication they have towards their children is beyond words. Throughout the years weve recommended our family members and friends with children to attend. The children are constantly learning. Best of all the older 3 remember most of the songs she comes home singing and they all chime in! Its one of the best feelings in the world. Thank you Apple Tree for all that you do!

My kids started at Appletree about a 1.5 years ago, we started at their old location in Albany Park. I have to saying trying to find childcare is somewhat terrifying and overwhelming until you find the right place. After calling about 15 daycares we settled on three to visit. One was an absolute no as soon as we meet with the teachers, the other one was a maybe, but was eliminated as soon as we went to Appletree. We were happy with the small size, all the children were happy and relaxed there. Appletree moved to the Irving Park neighborhood to a much larger school, which we were a little afraid it would loose some of the personal care, but I think they have just gotten better. The space is great, it allows for more room for the kids to play, do crafts, and eat. They have a great indoor play space that our children are always talking about. I also love that in the winter when they cant take the kids for walks they try to help get their energy out my setting up bouncy houses or anything that they can do to help them with their pent up energy. My kids love their teachers, and it feels like we found a place that is like family taking care of your children. We couldnt be any happier with the staff and the facility there.
