Awesome dispensary. Easy to walk in and order right from the tablets they have set up. The menus are easily understood and accessible. The prices are listed and are clear cut. No hidden fees or agendas. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Security was on site and they lock the doors that lead to the actual checkout so theft would be virtually impossible. I felt very safe during my visit and would absolutely visit again & recommend to friends! Prices were pretty high compared to what Im used to paying but that was to be expected I suppose.

Order ahead. Has a lot of armature tourist traffic. Consider a different location on peak season weekends if you are local.Looks like they are building more check out space. I approve.

They offer a veterans discount but dont allow you to use rewards point with it so whats the point? Last time I was there I specifically told the cashier to use the veterans discount & not my points because I was trying to save them up, but when I logged in later my awards points were gone. Also the prices on-line dont always match the price at the store. My last purchase online said it was $72 before taxes but they charged $80 before taxes.Edit: Wow thank you for reaching out & explaining that. I totally accept the apology.

Parking was very easy and attendant was friendly. Security guards are awesome and dont make you feel awkward, staff at all counters were above and beyond to be nice, and I loved the vibe of this dispensary compared to the waiting room feel of others. I love the 10% medical discount and appreciate that they offer it. Will definitely be back

I gave MOCA a one star because I was helped by a wonderful women today, forgot her name. She really found a good product for me and my lifestyle. I asked if she directly received tips and she said no which was appalling to me as she gave me a direct service. I think its unfair and I can only imagine how much money the dispensary makes on the day to day, also it is a pandemic.

The Best Dispensary in Chicago!! Great prices and the coolest staff! Their customer service is great and they are always willing to answer any questions. Very knowledgeable and friendly! Also if you have any kind of handicap issues great place to shop. They have an elevator someone to meet and greet you at the door. Over all experience was fantastic!

Quality dispensary with friendly staff and security. A preorder on their website is your best bet on getting in and out of the dispensary very quickly. Prerolls are moderately priced.

The prices are better than Sunnyside. Good atmosphere....until you exit onto a staircase in the alley....? Feels creepy (Im a woman) and I didnt see any alternative to the stairs for disabled ppl. Super weird ending to a nice experience. (River North location)

Weird experience. Illinois is too regulated. The manager, although knowledgeable, would not honor the special from July 4th, even though he still had the sign up in the store. This place made you feel like you need national clearance to enter and purchase.

Best experience in a dispensary. Prices are MUCH LOWER than most. ESPECIALLY SUNNYSIDE! Everytime I went to Sunnyside it was a 20+ min wait. Moca, youre in and out. 10 mins TOPS. (Well at least for me).Great selection of pre-rolls and the staff are very friendly and helpful. AWESOME PLACE AWESOME PEOPLE!! They also have point systems where you can rack up points and get free joints and other items.

Nothing great, but nothing bad. Their product rotation is a bit slow and they offer the least appealing specials/discounts of all Chicago dispensaries.Won’t be going back since one of their employees made a joke implying I couldn’t afford a purchase when I input the wrong PIN number at the register. Just no - that’s not appreciated

Cashier was friendly. Flower quality is good. However, no surfaces were sanitized between customers. The sanitizer I tried using was empty. Youre asked to sit and wait at multiple places. Prices are high unless you want massive amount of shake. Some staff are rude/snobby. I dont plan to return. Best of luck, perhaps mocha should stay in the lane of coffee LOL

Compared to Seattle, Chicago prices are sky high (pun intended). Be prepared to pay taxes on top of the advertised price. The line set up is also kinda weird. You pay and then wait for your name to be called to pick up your stuff. Odd, but the people who work there are cool.

This place is amazing. It is so safe and well-run. I was blown away by how smooth the process is. I pre-ordered and though I had to wait in line to get in, once I was inside, I was out of there very quickly. Everyone is so kind and helpful, and all the security makes you feel safe. Overall flawless experience here. You in-state folks dont know how lucky you are!

Friendly service but the staff, clean presentation, good control in crowd size and liked the fact we could also use other methods of payments. Online pick up wait time can vary for individuals, but all-in-all the process was smooth and efficient. Wish there was a wider selection. They show you the products you order when you show up.

Fantastic products, customer service was excellent but the line of operations in the city always seems to be a little different from smaller towns, like Michigan and Colorado had a totally different ambiance. Maybe change the location in the future :)))..

Fantastic! My only gripe is the extremly high taxes for non-medical purchases; however, this is the same at any Chicago dispensary, for recreational sales. A medical cannabis card allows the avoidance of the ridiculously high taxes. That said, not all dispensaries offer both medical and recreational purchases; this Ascend location being one that only offers recreational cannabis purchases.

My favorite dispensary in the city. Great staff, good prices and a super streamlined process. Selection can be somewhat slim at times, but everything they do get in is always on point.

This is not my hone dispensary. My first time and last time. Some African american fellow wearing a suit told me something that I would never want to hear in my own shop, if you dont like it here we dont need your buisiness... Excuse me random budtender/simple employee of a multi billion corporation. If not for people like me you would have no job or tether to income. Without the buisiness from the people like the one you so rudely turned away with your distasteful boss mentality Im outraged. Stopped by to pick up few things for a friend. Placed the order online which was convenient staff were all friendly form the moment I walked in. They don’t accept credit cards only debt or cash taxes are little high so be ready to pay according to my friend it’s good quality it’s worth it!

The staff was helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was great and the set up modern. Prices were reasonable and service very quick. Definitely recommend!

As a medical patient I was nervous going here thinking it would be busy, but I was WRONG!it was actually LESS of a wait than Im used to. I was in & out in less than 8 minutes & the waiting area was nice & spacious. Im making this my go-to since I recently moved downtown. Its local, costs more than Im used to because its recreational but I save money on travel expenses not having to go to Logan Square or Lakeview for a medical serving dispensery. Also with reward deductions its almost the same price as tax free.

Great location and free parking. Been around 5 or 6 times and some during rush hour and still got lucky with parking. Sometimes the lines can be long but the service is professional and quick so it’s never really much of a wait but I recommend pre ordering to bypass all that. The flower is fire and the prices are fair (considering recreational is taxed and expensive most places in IL). All the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. So far this is my go to dispensary

Visited MOCA for the first time today and had a great experience. They were accommodating, kind, and efficient. Pre-ordering makes the process so incredibly easy and efficient. Security goes pretty fast and the tenders are knowledgeable.

Theres valet parking on the west side of the building, security is always pleasant when they check you in, really quick and efficient service. Im in and out in 5 or 10 minutes.

Honest non biased opinion: This dispensary is not bad but not good. Ive been to dispensaries in Michigan and this one doesnt come close to those: Not in service, atmosphere, selection or price. I cant give this a 5 star for that reason. If you dont mind spending the extra buck.. this place aint bad

This is a great location. They carry a wide variety from flower to edibles, et cetera. The staff is very kind & helpful & they make you feel welcomed. Any questions & they can help you out with no problem. They also run really great deals as well. If you havent been here yet I recommend you try it out.

After having some time to explore all the different dispensaries in Chicago Moca (specifically the river north location) is hands down the best experience. From the convenience of the parking lot on Ohio street to the speed the amazing staff work through the line this is what I had really hoped to see in the Chicago cannabis industry. The selection is as on point as the staff. While carrying the standard brands of our area like ozone , cresco , and verano they also regularly get product from new producers to keep things fresh. Usually by the time Im in Ive already worked 10-14 hours and have a dime bags worth of personality left, but Im always greeted with a smile big enough a mask cant hide it. Make sure to sign up for the rewards!

The process to enter the store is too convoluted. Being interrogated and inspected by two security guards is more than what is done to enter a bank. Some of the staff is nice, but some are just too rude and look down at the clients.

Great staff, friendly security, that knows their job.Fast service, I recommend pre-ordering is the way to go.

Great experience! Super fast service, friendly staff, and best menu selection in Chicago. The prices are reasonable (...for legal cannabis in River North!) I like how they include the tax in their prices - it feels much more transparent than other spots I’ve been to. Highly recommend GMO or anything from Aeriz.

Great options and variety, I think Im making this my candy shop instead of Sunnyside 😁 everyone I encountered was pleasant, wide open space to abide by distancing.. A+++++++++++Another big plus for me is the packaging after your purchase..I got a simple small brown recyclable paper bag which is easy to stow away in my existing bag instead of a glossy, clunky and BRIGHT retail bag, which I was always stuck with even tho I tried to decline at the competitors(save the planet, people!)👍👍 Thanks for being responsible retailers!

First dispensary visit ever,and let me say they have set a very high standard. They have great customer service nice layout and nice flow through the dispensary. I love that the website allows you to know just how much thc or cbd is in what your buying. They only reason they did not get 5 stars is because the vape section on the website is not very descriptive it doesn’t allow for ppl new to vapes to kno wether the cartridges will fit the batteries they have or if the whole pens they are offering are disposable or not. Needs to be more descriptive.

Employees are helpful and the space is clean and inviting. I was going to another dispensary in the area for months until this place opened and Ive since moved my business to MOCA as a result of the aforementioned. Great place!

Out of towner here and I must say trying to navigate your way through this place is a bit confusing. It doesn’t help that the staff isn’t the friendliest either. This was my first time in a Illinois dispensary and I had to go through 4 people to get bud. Maybe asking “is this your first time here” and being genuinely helpful with clear instructions on where to go you’d have less 1 star reviews and more customers. Compared to Colorado and Michigan dispensaries, this one is the worse I’ve been to yet. Thanks for the bio Jesus but I won’t be back.

Says open til 8:30. I drive an hour to get there, arrive 8:23. At the door they refuse to help me and say walk up customers are not allowed in after 8:00. No care to offer $12 in tolls and $20 diesel cost.
