I LOVE this place! My boyfriend and I happen to be walking by and decided to go in for a drink. I’m so glad we did! We ended up trying five different cocktails and each was exquisite and so unique. The service and the owners were so warm and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back!

A great place to have your hair style and colored. The stylist made you feel very comfortable and explained in full detail what she was going to do and made several suggestions. I was extremely pleased with the results as this was my first visit. You can even have a cocktail !! Loved the service! My new salon.

This salon just keeps getting better! G has been cutting my hair for a while and has amazing style. They just did my highlights and it look soooo pretty. Plus they are opening a bar and I had the pleasure of sampling the margarita, yum!

G. Did a WONDERFUL job with my cut & color balayage! We went from a dark brown to a beautiful honey blonde. It was a great experience and I couldn’t have been happier with the service. Highly recommend!

G is a master of their own craft. I have been going to them for my hair(cut/color/highlights/balayage) for about 3 years now. All my friends go to them now as well and everyone just adores G!! Zea Salon was an experience, the waiting area is a nice area with refreshments. Everything is in ordnance with covid. My stylist Tim walked me through everything. He asked what were my expectations how I usually style my hair. Everything a great stylist should ask. He also let me know what products he used in my hair and what styles would fit my face.

This is a wonderful salon! Dominic does a perfect men’s haircut every time. I have never received so many compliments on a haircut. They offer you refreshments, all the employees are super friendly, positive and full of compliments. The prices aren’t bad for the quality of service.Would definitely recommend Dominic for a great haircut, and entertaining conversation!

Hard to believe but I have never had my hair professionally done before. Everyone at the salon is so kind and really care about what your vision is. Lee was amazing! Great conversation, he was so gentle, I was looking for more dimension and life to my hair and he made it come alive! Lots of pretty browns and caramels. He did a keratin shot and I cant stop touching my hair, it hasnt been this soft since I was a kid. And Gerard gave me the best hair cut! Theyre both so talented, Im very impressed. I will 100% be coming back and I am so happy with the results. Next time Im getting extensions :) Thank so so much Zea Salon!!

I had Gerard as my stylist and he was able to work with all my hair troubles and give me the perfect haircut and style. Also he is a pleasure to talk to and has has his technique down to a science. I finally was able to visit my second favorite place only to home: ZEA SALON 3707 N. Halsted St. in Chicago. On Saturday June 20th I visited my one and only; Master Hair Artist Lee. I walked in looking like Raggedy, Raggedy Ann about the hair (thanks COVID-19), and walked out looking like a brunette Lana Turner, at least my hair did, with glossy hair sexy sideswept bangs. My color was meticulously applied with a few tweaks; gray hair is very difficult to color, but Lee, my Hair Artist makes it work.He was very precise about cutting my bangs and showed me how much length he was cutting before he snipped. Hes very considerate that way. My husband even noticed without me having to prompt him. How often does that happen ladies? I must bring the other Artists to the front. Theres Geri, he co-owns Zea with Lee and is also a Master Artist. Ive sat in Geris chair and trust me ladies and gents he is wicked with the scissors and the color as well. Gerard, has styled my eyebrows and honeys you cant go wrong, hes a man of many talents, shampooing so good he will a put you to sleep, Ive not experienced his other talents but knowing this salon, they are great and Gerard will pitch in wherever hes needed. Joanna, another stylist at Zea Salon. Ive not sat in her chair but Ive watched her work from afar and let me tell you, only perfection has left her chair and walked out the door. I saved the best for last folks: Sami!!! She is the beautiful, multi-talented, first face you see when you walk in the door; as it should be. Hair always on point, she is definitely not just a pretty face. She wrangles the stylists, letting them know how much time they have left before the next client arrives, how much time a client has left for their color processing. And she blow-drys, she braids; oh does she braid beautifully.****COVID-19*******Zea Salon practices all safety procedures for COVID-19, Corona Virus. Clients, Stylists, Receptionist(s) etc.......... wear gloves and masks at all times. Cutting capes are sanitized immediately after use and not used again until sanitizer has dried. Chairs, workstations are sanitized after clent leaves. Robes and towels are immediately taken to laundry room to be washed.How do I know? I observed the entire process. Come visit Zea, let them pamper you.

I came here as a hair model during the apprentice training and received the best cut and color Ive ever had. They spent so much time with my hair and the stylists were so wonderful spend time with. Since then I have visited a couple other salons in Chicago but I am returning to Zea Salon this week because it truly has been the best salon I have visited.

Love this place. I used to live right next door at 825 w. Waveland. I went here for convenience and now that I live in Orland Park I still come up here to Zealand. Joanne is my girl! She does an excellent job. She gives me ideas to change things up and Im always happy with my new styles :)

Jarrard literally is the first stylist with whom I have ever gotten more than one haircut. I bounced around from salon to salon my entire life, and then one haircut with Jarrard, and I’ve come back three times!The first time I met him, I was having an identity crisis with a complex set of emotional/familial implications, and Jarrard listened to me drone on about it and then gave me the perfect haircut to match my circumstances. He’s a brilliant artist and stylist; I literally would not let anyone else touch my hair!
